AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) which integrates AI and IoT has received rapidly growing interest from the softwareengineering community in recent years. It is crucial to design scalable, efficient, and reliable software solutions for large-scale AIoT systems in edge computing environments. However, the lack of effective service management including the support for service collaboration, AI application, and data security in the edge, has seriously limited the development of AIoT systems. To seal this gap, we propose EXPRESS 2.0 which is an intelligent service management framework for AIoT in the edge. Specifically, on top of the existing EXPRESS platform, EXPRESS 2.0 includes the intelligent service collaboration management module, AI application management module, and data security management module. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the framework, we design and implement a last-mile delivery system using both UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) and UGVs (Unmanned Ground Vehicles). Analog Quantum Computers are promising tools for improving performance on applications such as modeling behavior of quantum materials, providing fast heuristic solutions to optimization problems, and simulating quantum systems. Due to the challenges of simulating dynamic quantum systems, there are relatively few classical tools for modeling the behavior of these devices and verifying their performance. *** provides a toolkit for performing simulations of Analog Quantum Computers on classical hardware. This package includes functionality for simulation of the time evolution of the Transverse Field Ising Model, replicating annealing schedules used by real world annealing hardware, implementing custom annealing schedules, and more. This allows for rapid prototyping of models expected to display interesting behavior, verification of the performance of quantum devices, and easy comparison against the expected behavior of quantum devices against classical approaches for small systems. The software is provided as open-source and is available through Julia's package registry system.

Robot mapping usually benefits from the combination of several sensors. However, most algorithms for Simultaneous Localization And Mapping using point clouds only consider a single point cloud as input. There are also scenarios where SLAM is not needed and a simple local map representation without probabilities is preferred, for example due to throughput requirements. For these scenarios, software is needed that combines multiple point clouds into a unified, short-lived, robot-centric representation. Mapping software is only one tool in the software stack and should not compromise other components, which is why its performance-oriented design is of utmost importance. CUPREDS presents a ROS package for local mapping that prioritizes robustness and performance, with minimal overhead for its internal mechanisms.
