The Internet of Things builds a digital world where all assets including people, machines, human-machine interfaces (HMIs), processes, services, etc. are internetworked. Digital Twins provide 1-to-1 digital replica of physical assets and enable their networking and their goal-directed and standardized communication. The combination of assets and their corresponding Digital Twins are the "things", the nodes of the IoT. With the rapid development of loT and its pertinent technologies, more and more things will be mutually interconnected over the Internet. Hence, the security issues that come with it are gradually becoming sharper and sharper. In this paper, we focus on the topic of the secured communication among things - or more precisely their Digital Twins - and propose an approach related to OAuth2, asymmetrically encryption and digital signing to secure the communication within the newly developed Smart Systems Service Infrastructure ((SI)-I-3).

This Due to rapid advancement in computer vision system and easy availability of digital camera’s acquisition of images and sharing the content on social media platform with falsify content is challenging task to the researcher community. For the legal purpose to provide the evidence in court, it’s a difficult task identify the forgery in image that why various traditional artefacts of capturing device and internal footprints of image used to check the forgery in original image. Now a day’s easy availability of software editing tools the captured image modify with wrong content to defame the person or misleading the people on social media with fake content. In this article, proposed a CNN based architecture to classify the forgery in given image. CNN architecture is capable to detect the unseen forgeries based on features extracted through various convolution layers and used SVM classifier to classify the label of forged image with high accuracy.

Wireless power transfer technologies lead the way towards new paradigms for pervasive networking and have already penetrated the mobile and portable user device research and market. Their use is not only limited to charging devices like smartphones wirelessly by using a central wireless charger, but it is also extended to peer-to-peer (P2P) wireless crowd charging, when a user device shares energy directly with another user device. This paper surveys the literature over the period 2014-2020 on both P2P and central wireless crowd charging from the point of view of algorithmic applications as it applies to ubiquitously networked user devices and identifies some open research challenges for the future.

As a recently proposed network architecture, the computing power network (CPN) combines the ability of end, edge, cloud computing, and transmission network to realize the flexible and efficient scheduling and transaction of ubiquitous multi-resources, such as computing, cache, communications, and intelligent models. However, in CPN, multi-resources are deployed in a distributed manner. So, efficient, reliable and distributed resource transaction solutions are sought. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a non-fungible token (NFT)-based resource transaction scheme for CPN. We use NFT to tokenize and describe multi-resources by metadata to enable applications to network multi-resources efficiently and ensure transaction se-curity. Also, we formulate the trading utility of sellers and buyers and present a trusted trading process. To improve the system efficiency by increasing the matching success rate and simplify the complexity of combinatorial resources matching, we design the decision and pricing policy by distributed double auction mechanism. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

Personal data are not discrete in socially-networked digital environments. A user who consents to allow access to their profile can expose the personal data of their network connections to non-consented access. Therefore, the traditional consent model (informed and individual) is not appropriate in social networks where informed consent may not be possible for all users affected by data processing and where information is distributed across users. Here, we outline the adequacy of consent for data transactions. Informed by the shortcomings of individual consent, we introduce both a platform-specific model of "distributed consent"and a cross-platform model of a "consent passport."In both models, individuals and groups can coordinate by giving consent conditional on that of their network connections. We simulate the impact of these distributed consent models on the observability of social networks and find that low adoption would allow macroscopic subsets of networks to preserve their connectivity and privacy. © 2022 ACM.

The healthcare industry is a conjunction of monolithic applications based on neutral and time-stamped diagnostics. Hence, it is particularly interested in decentralised technologies to achieve global and social-driven electronic health records. Blockchain is a decentralised networking system where multiple copies of immutable data records are distributed and validated among different independent nodes. While traditionally used to create currently famous digital cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, its worldwide fever helped to extend its applications beyond the financial industry. However, given how fast completely new technologies evolve, healthcare stakeholders are struggling to find the correct usage of blockchain ecosystem developments. Our goal is to provide a summary of the state-of-the-art efforts in the development of decentralised blockchain-based solutions for electronic healthcare records, in which social networking and wearable technology data is considered in order to provide patient-driven diagnostics - proven to be critical in the current SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. In this paper, we present a comprehensive guide on blockchain technologies competing in the healthcare market, including emerging blockchain-based initiatives and trends. Additionally, we discuss the main caveats of blockchain applications development in this industry based on practical experience. © 2021 IEEE.

Federated learning (FL) has been widely adopted as a privacy-preserving model training paradigm. However, traditional FL protocol heavily relies on data transmission between clients and servers across the wide-area network (WAN), which is tightly constrained and unreliable, therefore causing expensive communication and slow convergence. To this end, we propose a LAN-aware FL (LanFL) protocol, which can efficiently leverage the network capacity of the local-area network (LAN). By frequent model aggregation among the devices within the same LAN, we can significantly reduce the global aggregation across WAN, thus accelerating the training process. However, due to the unique challenges introduced by LAN, it’s not easy to efficiently utilize LAN resources while preserving the original dignity of FL performance. Therefore, LanFL also incorporates several critical techniques: LAN-aware hierarchical aggregation, intraLAN device topology construction, and inter-LAN heterogeneous bandwidth coordination. Extensive real-world experiments are conducted and the experimental results show that LanFL can significantly accelerate FL training up to $6.0 \times$, while preserving the model accuracy.

In recent years, there has been a proliferation of Edge Intelligence (EI) services, especially within Internet of Vehicles (IoV) scenarios, accompanied by a growing demand for multi-modal content generation. In response, Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) has emerged as a promising solution, equipping EI to produce diverse Artificial Intelligence-Generated Content (AIGC) for ubiquitous edge services. However, existing cloud-based GAI capabilities, which are mostly provided via the web and the Internet, introduce unacceptable latency overhead and heightened security risks for vehicular services. To address the above shortcomings and the lack of endogenous mechanisms for applying GAI to IoV scenarios, in this paper, we propose a layered vehicular GAI framework that seamlessly integrates GAI and EI. Within this framework, we devise a distributed collaborative inference mechanism between Road-Side Units (RSUs) and vehicles. Furthermore, we formulate the shared and local inference splitting problem, a pivotal challenge influencing both GAI service latency and content-generation capability. To tackle this issue, we introduce a backward induction-based algorithm, which enables the system can make splitting decisions using a simple threshold-based policy. Simulation results underscore the remarkable performance of the proposed system and vehicular collaborative inference mechanism, promising to facilitate diverse content generation within vehicular networks.

Delayed delivery of packets hinders the performance of time-sensitive Internet of Things (IoT) applications and incurs increased power consumption. Stochastic routing schemes solve the problem of saving all participating nodes from getting their power drained out quickly. However, stochastic routing incurs the problem of delivery delays and reliable end-to-end delivery. This paper proposes a novel routing scheme, called $Q_{i j}$ routing, to solve these problems. The proposed $Q_{i j}$ routing scheme is a combination of a classic routing scheme, called Distance Vector Algorithm, with a novel re-definition of the cost of a link to find the best path from source to destination. $Q_{i j}$ takes into account the wireless link reliability of any connection between two nodes, and the transmission delay of IoT devices working together in a distributed network. With the presented mathematical model, a routing table is maintained that let an individual node in a network find the distinctly prominent reliable path among many routes from source to destination. The superior efficiency of $Q_{i j}$ routing scheme over eminent stochastic routing schemes is proven through simulation results in terms of reduced end-to-end expected delivery delay and increased expected delivery ratio.

The main concept of Software Defined Network is the centralization of network control in the Control Plane. However, the concept of a centralized network certainly needs to improve in terms of network security. The tendency to get attacks will be greater, such as distributed Denial of Service (DDoS). By using the Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) can detect and block attacks. Snort functions as an attack detector, and the Ryu Controller acts as a firewall to block attacks. This study aims to collect QoS throughput data, CPU Usage, and Memory Usage under two conditions. The attack is carried out without IPS with packages that are gradually increased from 10, 100, 1000, and 10000 packets/s and when an attack is carried out with IPS integration on each attack package. The results TCP throughput value was obtained at 7.80 Gbps, and UDP was 778 MBps in normal conditions. The Throughput value began to decrease when an attack was carried out and decreased further when the attack packet was increased to 10000, which was 3.60 GBps for TCP and 338 MBps for UDP. During the DDoS attack by integrating IPS, the throughput was 3.92 GBps for TCP and 373 MBps for UDP. Also, CPU performance decreased when IPS was integrated by 34.6% for TCP and 13.9% for UDP. On the other hand, memory usage increased when 1402.8 MiB integrated IPS for TCP and 1541.8 MiB for UDP. This increase was due to the increasing number of system tasks in blocking attacks.
