The sixth generation wireless communication networks (6G) are anticipated to bring a disruptive innovation on multiple scenarios, where deep edge networks (DENs) turn into a vital network structure on vertical industrial paradigms, including the combination of communication, computing and caching (3C). In this paper, we present the DENs scene to facilitate the deep convergence of computing and communication resources. More specifically, we formulate the optimization problem in terms of energy consumption and latency in order to minimize the total agents overhead. At the same time, for the sake of executing tasks and alleviating interference among different edge networks and high-dynamic network environments, we propose a CPU cycle frequency aided multi-agent deep deterministic policy gradient (C-MADDPG) algorithm framework to optimize the task scheduling, transmission power, CPU cycle frequency and mutual interference from multiple channels to obtain the optimal overhead. Finally, extensive simulation and experimental results demonstrate that our proposed C-MADDPG algorithm has better performance gain in term of execution overhead for different network parameters.

Software Defined Networks (SDN) has an emerging network architecture with a logically centralized control and a simple role of a forwarding plane. Its main distinguishing feature from tradition network is the separation of the data plane and the control plane. SDN controllers that are compact with multiple controllers called distributed controllers. The cluster of the controller provides availability and scalability, especially for a large-scale network operation such as data center. In this paper, we proposed a solution for a single point failure using clustering method and providing authentication-based access to the controller.

We present distributed algorithms for training dynamic Graph Neural Networks (GNN) on large scale graphs spanning multi-node, multi-GPU systems. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first scaling study on dynamic GNN. We devise mechanisms for reducing the GPU memory usage and identify two execution time bottlenecks: CPU-GPU data transfer; and communication volume. Exploiting properties of dynamic graphs, we design a graph difference-based strategy to significantly reduce the transfer time. We develop a simple, but effective data distribution technique under which the communication volume remains fixed and linear in the input size, for any number of GPUs. Our experiments using billion-size graphs on a system of 128 GPUs shows that: (i) the distribution scheme achieves up to 30x speedup on 128 GPUs; (ii) the graph-difference technique reduces the transfer time by a factor of up to 4.1x and the overall execution time by up to 40%.

Cloud computing represents a new computing model that poses many demanding security issues at all levels. The variety of delivery models presents different security challenges depending on the model and the quality of service (QoS) requirements of consumers. Confidentiality, integrity, and availability are key concerns for cloud computing providers and consumers. In this paper, we present a novel secure architecture-Based Conformance Testing in order to check not only if the behavior of the cloud environment is conforms to its specification but also if respects some security policies. The proposed approach shows how to cope with problems encountered in cloud distributed testing using distributed testing rules.

Software defined networks (SDNs) represent new centralized network architecture that facilitates the deployment of services, applications and policies from the upper layers, relatively the management and control planes to the lower layers the data plane and the end user layer. SDNs give several advantages in terms of agility and flexibility, especially for mobile operators and for internet service providers. However, the implementation of these types of networks faces several technical challenges and security issues. In this paper we will focus on SDN's security issues and we will propose the implementation of a centralized security layer named AM-SecP. The proposed layer is linked vertically to all SDN layers which ease packets inspections and detecting intrusions. The purpose of this architecture is to stop and to detect malware infections, we do this by denying services and tunneling attacks without encumbering the networks by expensive operations and high calculation cost. The implementation of the proposed framework will be also made to demonstrate his feasibility and robustness.

Software Defined networking (SDN) is a new paradigm that gives central control over distributed SDN-enabled switches. SDN is begin adapted very rapidly to gain the advantages of centralized programmable control over the network. But it is difficult to go for a green-field deployment of SDN due to several reasons. It requires a huge budget to install SDN network infrastructure. The deployment of SDN devices will take some time, due to which the network can go down. The safe option is to go for partial deployment, where the SDN devices can be installed incrementally in the traditional network. Over the last few years, the research community brings their attention to hybrid SDN networks. To gain SDN control over the network traffic, it has to go through at least one SDN switch. There exist a few solutions which enforce the traffic to go through the SDN switch. In this paper, our aim is to analyze and evaluate the performance of existing methods to achieve way-point enforcement in hybrid SDN networks in terms of average path length, and percentage of way-point enforcement achieved. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

For the 5th Generation mobile communication system, a multi-user Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) system has been extensively studied in recent years. However, it may be difficult to arrange antenna elements at one place because a very large number of antenna elements are used in a recent massive MIMO system. On the other hand, distributed antenna systems, where a base station antenna array is divided into several subarrays and they are distributedly located, have attracted attention. In this paper, we consider indoor environments and evaluate the sum capacity characteristics for different numbers of subarrays and different layouts of the subarrays. We also evaluate the difference in sum capacity when changing an antenna height, element arrangement of subarrays, and a distance between the elements. As a result, we can say that we need to choose adequately parameters of the layout of subarray, height of subarray, element arrangement of subarray, and element space of subarray.

Despite the exponential growth of cloud infrastructure over several years, data protection and reliable computing are still major obstacles for modern cloud computing applications. In order to address this issue, several researchers have done a lot of work on this and have suggested a variety of models, including data integrity checking and stable multi-party estimates. Vehicle ad-hoc networks (VANETs) have been diagnosed with several security issues, such as confidentiality, safe authorization/authentication, and system stability. Nevertheless, almost all these alternatives face challenges like over-computational complexity or absence of scalability. This paper explores the usage of blockchain technologies in order to strengthen this scenario. Blockchain is collaborative modern framework for distributed computation. Applying blockchain technologies to cloud infrastructure, leveraging the former encryption framework to boost the efficiency of data storage and decentralized computation, is an exciting research area. A system of message verification for the privacy and decentralization of knowledge utilizing blockchain technologies is proposed in this paper. This is where we add message authentication code (MAC) and public-private key for stable authentication. In this document, we follow consensus algorithms for computing blockchain structures such as proof of work (PoW) and Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT) in the proposed authorization method. Finally, it is shown that the suggested approach is secure from threats that require the impersonation of the internal intruder as well as the usual threats.

In IoT, a flexible and trustworthy access control framework is of significance to ensure the security of lightweight IoT devices. The conventional centralized access control framework is no longer fit for the open and large-scale IoT environments. In this paper, we propose an attribute-based distributed access control framework (ADAC) for IoT using blockchain technology. The attributes, such as manufacturer and object-specified attribute, are considered in the proposed ADAC for more fine-grained access control in the open and lightweight IoT devices. Particularly, we design a smart contract system, which includes a subject contract (SC), an object contract (OC), an access control contract (ACC) and multiple policy contracts (PCs), to manage and access attributes of IoT devices for distributed and trustworthy access control (DTAC). SC and OC are responsible for managing subject attribute and object attribute information, respectively. PCs are used to manage access control policies. ACC performs authorization judgment by accessing attributes and policies. Finally, a case study is performed to demonstrate the workflow and show that ADAC could achieve fine-grained and flexible access control for IoT.
