The threat of soft error induced system failure in high performance computing systems has become more prominent, as we adopt ultra-deep submicron process technologies. In this paper, we propose two techniques, namely Soft Error Mitigation (SEM) and Soft and Timing Error Mitigation (STEM), for protecting combinational logic blocks from soft errors. Our first technique (SEM), based on distributed and temporal voting of three registers, unloads the soft error detection overhead from the critical path of the systems. Our second technique (STEM) adds timing error detection capability to guarantee reliable execution in aggressively clocked designs that enhance system performance by operating beyond worst-case clock frequency. We also present a specialized low overhead clock generation scheme that ably supports our proposed techniques. Tuning annotated gate level simulations, using 45nm libraries, of a pipelined adder-multiplier and DLX processor show that both our techniques achieve near 100% fault coverage. For DLX processor, even under severe fault injection campaigns, SEM achieves an average performance improvement of 26.58% over a conventional triple modular redundancy voter based soft error mitigation scheme, while STEM outperforms SEM by 27.42%.

The reliable and fault tolerant computers are key to the success to aerospace, and communication industries. Designing a reliable digital system, and detecting and repairing the faults are challenging tasks in order for the digital system to operate without failures for a given period of time. The paper presents a new and systematic software engineering approach of performing fault diagnosis parallel and distributedcomputing. The purpose of the paper would be to demonstrate a method to build a fault diagnosis for a parallel and distributedcomputing. The paper chooses a model posed a tremendous challenge to the user for fault analysis. The model is the classic PMC model that happens to be a parallel and distributedcomputing. The paper would also show a method for building an optimal inference engine by obtaining sub graphs that also preserve the necessary and sufficient conditions of the model. Process/thread migration is indispensable for resource sharing, cycle stealing and other modes of interaction. computing tasks need to be scheduled frequently to adapt to the capacity variation of the system resources in distributedcomputing environments. Local parallel workload should be migrated to remote machines partially or completely. This paper analyzes three different kinds of clustering algorithms to group local threads. One or more thread groups are selected as medium-grained computations which are distributed across multiple machines. Efficient image search clustering is prominent for image search engines for exponentially growing photo collections. In this work, we propose an image search clustering approach which selects multiple canonical images from image search results and constructs image clusters in real time on an image sub-graph for the search results. The efficiency is achieved with the help of offline-computed image context graphs by distributedcomputing methods. Extending our prior works, we demonstrate the results of the proposed canonical image selection and preliminary outcomes of large-scale image graph construction in this proposal. We experiment in Flickr550 dataset, containing 540,321 Flickr photos.

Managing the evolution of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) is a key challenge for modern enterprises. Current approaches to address this challenge focus on EA plans, indicating projected future states of the architecture. Nevertheless, these plans neglect the role of the information technology (IT) project, which actually performs the transformation of the current to a planned EA. In this paper, we account for the importance of IT projects as drivers of EA transformation by providing a viewpoint for roadmapping the development of the EA over time. The new information technology is becoming an important factor in the future development of financial services industry, and especially banking industry. Growing international trading and problems in transferring money have motivated researchers to introduce a new structure. E-banking is such idea. Most of banks are using the Internet as a new distribution channel. This paper presents a through survey of e-banking describing definition, barriers, benefits from the customers', economy, and bank point of views, and main issues and challenges such as risk management and factors responsible for e-banking development.
