With the rapid development of information technology, people have put forward higher requirements for the audio-visual experience and usage functions of conference spaces. The traditional, single-function conference room configuration can no longer adapt to the diverse needs of modern work and interactive activities. How to achieve efficient management and control, seamless interconnection, and resource sharing of audio systems across spaces, while ensuring the acoustic characteristics and flexibility of each independent space, has become a core issue that needs to be urgently resolved in building a multi-hall, multi-functional conference room cluster. Based on the audio system project of the Academic Center of the Communication University of China, this paper proposes a solution for a conference room cluster audio system based on a distributed architecture. This solution not only overcomes the limitations of traditional systems in terms of scalability, collaborative work, and resource scheduling but also promotes lossless transmission, real-time processing, and adaptive configuration of audio signals. Thus, it ensures the consistency and high quality of the audio experience within the entire cluster, providing practical guidance for the design and optimization of future conference room audio systems.

We study the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) in the Congested Clique Model (CCM) of distributed computing. We present a deterministic distributed algorithm that computes a tour for the TSP using O(1) rounds and O(m) messages for a given undirected weighted complete graph of n nodes and m edges with an approximation factor 2 of the optimal. The TSP has wide applications in logistics, planning, manufacturing and testing microchips, DNA sequencing etc., and we claim that our proposed O(1)-rounds approximation algorithm to the TSP, which is fast and efficient, can also be used to minimize the energy consumption in Wireless Sensor Networks.

The growing heterogeneity and decentralization in the modern computing paradigm of edge-cloud continuum introduces new constraints on storage systems, such as storage type, associated processors, privacy, scarce resources, compliance, GDPR and geographical restrictions. While existing distributed data and object stores can ensure data availability and faulttolerance, they are not flexible or dynamic enough to address these diverse set of constraints. In this paper, we introduce a modular policy-driven data placement framework, CATER, designed to seamlessly integrate with existing storage systems and overcome the aforementioned limitations. CATER formulates the data placement problem as an optimization model, incorporating data collocation and hardware constraints. We integrated a prototype of CATER with Apache Ozone and conducted experiments and simulations. Results show a 23% improvement in data placement while respecting 100% of the constraints.
