This paper investigates the false data injection attack (FDIA) locational detection problem for power grids based on edge computing. Given the difficulty of constructing the exact model of the power grid, a locational detection model of convolutional neural network (CNN) is established to solve the FDIA locational detection problem. However, due to the limited computing power of the edge devices, the CNN model should be modified so that the inference process of the CNN is computationally lightweight. Therefore, the quantization method is adopted to lighten the computation burden, and the early exiting mechanism is proposed to speed up the inference of CNN. Finally, a locational detection model of CNN with lightweight computing capability is presented. The edge computing based FDIA locational detection is realized by applying the presented model. Experiments conducted on the IEEE 118-bus system show that the FDIA can be accurately detected and located using the presented fast locational detection model.

Robotic processautomation known as RPA aims to automate business processes by reproducing human interactions with the graphical user interface. The implementation of a technology such as Robotic processautomation (RPA) allows all these routines to be executed by software "robots". The objective of this work is to develop a structural management framework for the implementation and control of RPA projects, based on the PDCA cycle and the RPA life cycle. To achieve this objective, a bibliographical analysis was carried out using key terms related to the theme. Few works related to the theme were identified. An analysis of the works was carried out, verifying that none of the works addresses all phases of the PDCA cycle. However, what is new is a structural framework that covers all phases of the PDCA cycle and the RPA lifecycle. In addition, this framework presents the functions of each of the stages of the RPA life cycle, necessary for the implementation and control of RPA projects, and presents the external/internal structure of the organization chart of an RPA team, passing through the various levels of implementation of RPA, given the complexity of this technology. Finally, a proposed methodology was also presented in the framework to assist in the creation of RPA KPI's. In short, this framework stands out from the others for being quite complete and being able to have good proposals for managing the implementation and control of RPA projects, in teams that are at different levels of RPA implementation.

Factory automation is evolving from a hierarchical structure towards an interconnected architecture in which systems at different levels can communicate seamlessly with each other. This requires an appropriate replacement of proprietary fieldbus systems in the automation sector. A promising solution to implement cross-plane end-to-end real-time capable communication between computing nodes is proposed in literature. The usage of Open Platform Communication Unified Architecture (OPC UA) as the information model with the Publish-Subscribe (PubSub) communication mechanism in combination with Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) is presented to fulfill the requirements for message transmission. In contrast to the state of the art of configuring fieldbus systems, the configuration of such a real-time communication node has to be done manually. This process is complex, as deep knowledge in different domains is required. In this work we elaborate the requirements for such a communication node and present the resulting implementation challenges, which can be used as the basis for a configuration tool.
