The majority of educational institutions still track student attendance using the old-fashioned method (paper-based). Paper-based attendance registers have a variety of problems, including the inability to evaluate the data because it is not uploaded to a centralized system. The embedded cameras on campus will take a picture of it. The faces of all the students are in the database. Students’ photos for future usage. Face recognition was used to capture the student's image. Either students are arriving, or everyone is seated in the space. The student's presence is recognized right away. The final step in the recognition process is to compare the detected face photos to the database of student images. if the image and database are identical. The pupil is noted as being present. This research investigates the integration of machine learning technology into microservices architectures for edge-enabled container scheduling strategies. Deploying microservices applications can be intricate, while container virtualisation technology solves environmental complexities. However, container scheduling strategies remain challenging, and machine learning techniques can be leveraged to rapidly and rationally adjust strategies for different services. A comparative analysis of container scheduling strategies with and without machine learning demonstrates a 60.6% improvement in scheduling speed. The evaluation includes two algorithms: K-Nearest Neighbours (KNN) and Bayesian Personalised Ranking (BPR). Results indicate that BPR outperforms KNN, achieving an 11.1% increase in speed, particularly for large-scale datasets. These improvements highlight BPR's effectiveness in edge computing environments, where containerised microservices operate closer to data sources and end-users. Additionally, the proposed control strategy minimises resource allocation errors and enhances system scalability. The findings provide a framework for integrating machine learning into edge-native microservices architectures, optimising container scheduling for edge computing scenarios.

In this work, a fully low-power analog integrated artificial neural network architecture is proposed. The design includes circuits operating in the sub-threshold region, such as the ReLu-based circuit, Gaussian function circuit, analog tunable current mirrors and a current-mode argmax operator. This architecture is evaluated on a Robot Manipulation classification task. The implementation achieves a power consumption of 734 nW and delivers an average accuracy of 86.45%. The design was developed and validated using the TSMC 90nm CMOS process. Furthermore, post-layout results are compared against both software-based implementations and existing solutions in the literature.

Internet of Things devices, and mobile computing, there is a growing demand for effective data processing where computation meets network traffic. Here, the fog computing concept has emerged to cater to this demand through a decentralized architecture that allows the processing and storing of data closer to end-users. Despite this, the dynamic and diverse fog computing ecosystem delivers security threats and resource efficiency challenges. This article introduces a solution for it, called the Green and Secure Model for Fog computing in Mobile Cloud Environments, by implementing container architecture. Containers allow applications with dependencies to be bundled together for improved portability, scalability, and resource utilization models such as GSM-FCMCE. Moreover, the model contains an intelligent security layer where encryption and data- authentication and access control paradigms-help protect volatile information from malicious attacks. In addition, the proposed model adopts green computing techniques to minimize energy utilization and increase sustainability in fog-based environments. By performing many experiments and simulations, the efficiency in terms of security achieved based on the GSM-FCMCE model works to minimize energy waste rate and increase resource utilization. It would seem quite a viable model for the cloud computing community to solve some of these fog-related issues and introduce more sustainable & secure mobile data processing.

This paper propose an Artificial Intelligence-based system that assists in improving badminton performance by correcting the posture with high accuracy. In contrast with traditional posture correction devices which usually depends on real-time feedback, this system focuses on post-game evaluation to provide complete and personalized insights. Using advanced video analytics and pose estimation (via MediaPipe), the system detects posture deviations, calculates joint angles and offers targeted corrective guidance. This process provides more granular, actionable feedback, compared to the broader stroke observation-based coaching. Additionally, the system also incorporates a progress tracking module, which provides a graphical representation of performance trends over time, thereby increasing user engagement and motivation. The user- centered design provides specialized feedback for all kinds of players from newbies to top experts providing scalability and adaptability. This Data-Driven Technique helps in optimization of training rationale, reducing injury risks, and providing players with insights that ultimately helps them in refining their techniques.

Currently, programming sequences for pneumatic industrial processes are carried out using different methods: pneumatic programming (in disuse), electro pneumatic (using electrical contactors) and programming with a PLC (Programmable Logic controller). Among these, programming using Ladder Logic is the most commonly used and widely recognized for PLC devices. However, its implementation might take large periods of time, becoming a tedious task and increasing its level of complexity as a function of the number of cylinders, movements and phases that the process requires. This work develops and implements a control algorithm in the LabView graphical environment, which is subsequently connected to a Siemens PLC via an NI OPC (National Instruments OLE for process control) Server. The control algorithm is experimentally tested and proven successful in various scenarios of industrial pneumatic sequences.

This paper presents an interactive motion control method based on reinforcement learning, designed to assist children with autism who have social motor impairments through a mirror game intervention. The virtual teacher uses the Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient (DDPG) algorithm to optimize its actions, guiding the participant to follow a Lissajous trajectory. To ensure safety, a motion-correction mechanism was developed, which automatically adjusts actions when the predicted trajectory surpasses predefined safety boundaries. The reward function considers both the distance between the virtual teacher and the target trajectory, as well as the distance between the virtual teacher and the participant, with dynamic adjustments applied by the motion-correction mechanism. Experimental results demonstrate that the virtual teacher effectively guides the participant towards the target trajectory while adhering to safety constraints.

The rice bran oil extraction process includes the formation of pellets or bran powder by the sowing process then it is sent to the solvent container. Hexane will be added to the solvent container. Hexane is a universal solvent to extract the oil from rice pellets and powder. After the addition of hexane, the oil will be filtered and the excess hexane will be collected and reused for the same process. The excess hexane undergoes condensation, and evaporation and is sent to the cooling tower for reusing it as the solvent. As it is a cyclic process the hexane will be sprayed 4 to 5 times to extract oil from the bran powder. The problem arises when it exceeds 2 times of cyclic process then the time taken to hexane to filter out the oil will get higher. The extraction property of hexane will be reduced so that it will get sedimented over the bran powder. The sedimentation of the hexane over the bran makes the process slower and there will be a manual operator to look out whether it is sedimented or not. After that, the control action will be taken to control the flow of hexane to the container.

Ahstract- This paper presents a comprehensive investigation into the stability analysis and design conditions for quantizers to ensure the closed-loop stability of continuous-time linear quantized systems, under the conditions derived by the small-gain theorem. The study begins by deriving explicit bounds on the quantizer parameters required for maintaining system stability. Building on this foundation, an optimal controller is designed using the linear quadratic regulator (LQR) framework, providing an efficient data-driven control strategy. To further enhance the system's performance, an adaptive dynamic programming (ADP) algorithm, referred to as the hybrid iteration (HI) method, is developed. This algorithm effectively learns the optimal control policy by leveraging the trajectories of the quantized states and inputs, thereby addressing the challenges posed by quantization constraints. The proposed HI approach combines the advantages of adaptive learning and optimization, making it well-suited for continuous-time systems with limited information. The simulation results confirm that the ADP approach with the provided conditions not only stabilizes the quantized system but also achieves optimal control performance under the specified quantization conditions. This study offers valuable insights and a robust methodological framework for addressing stability and control challenges, with insights to be expanded to continuous-time nonlinear quantized systems, with potential applications in various engineering domains, such as networked systems, robotics and autonomous systems.

This paper presents the design and implementation of a Smart-drip Infusion Monitoring System incorporating various sensors and IoT technologies. The system aims to enhance intravenous infusion monitoring by providing precise control and timely alerts during the infusion process. The load cell sensor measures fluid volume, while the air bubble detection sensor detects air bubble status in the intravenous line, ensuring accurate and safe medication delivery. The Arduino Uno coordinates sensor data acquisition, processing, and infusion control, dynamically adjusting the solenoid valve to maintain the prescribed infusion rate. Additionally, the buzzer alerts healthcare providers to critical events such as dose completion or system malfunctions. This integrated approach offers a comprehensive solution for optimizing intravenous therapy, enhancing patient safety, and improving healthcare outcomes.
