The requirement to safeguard the integrity and validity of ECG signals drives the adoption of watermarking in these signals. Any tampering with or manipulation of ECG signals can result in inaccurate diagnosis or treatment because these signals are crucial for identifying and monitoring cardiovascular illnesses. Also, these signals are frequently sent via the internet, raising the possibility of unwanted access and manipulation. Hence, ECG signal watermarking is crucial for maintaining the reliability and accuracy of these signals in both clinical and research environments. This paper presents a novel ECG signal-based dual watermarking framework using a combination of two medical images: chest X-ray and PET image. A hybrid of DTCWT (Dual-Tree Complex Wavelet Transforms), HD (Hessenberg Decomposition), and MSVD (Multi-resolution singular valued decomposition) is used to embed the dual watermark. This hybrid method represented a significant enhancement not just in aspects of retrieving hidden data from the watermarked ECG signals but also in terms of its resistance to several attacks. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the watermarked ECG signal, we have evaluated the efficacy of the suggested technique using the PSNR, NC, KL, PRD and SSIM parameters. The recovered dual watermark is tested and found to be resistant to various attacks. The simulation results also show that the proposed methodology provided the best results of performance parameters, even when the size of the payload is large.

Accurate segmentation of the retina vessel is essential for the early diagnosis of eye-related diseases. Recently, convolutional neural networks have shown remarkable performance in retina vessel segmentation. However, the complexity of edge structural information and the changeable intensity distribution depending on retina images reduce the performance of the segmentation tasks. This paper proposes two novel deep learning-based modules, channel attention vision transformer (CAViT) and deep adaptive gamma correction (DAGC), to tackle these issues. The CAViT jointly applies the efficient channel attention (ECA) and the vision transformer (ViT), in which the channel attention module considers the interdependency among feature channels and the ViT discriminates meaningful edge structures by considering the global context. The DAGC module provides the optimal gamma correction value for each input image by jointly training a CNN model with the segmentation network so that all the retina images are mapped to a unified intensity distribution. The experimental results show that our proposed method achieves superior performance compared to conventional methods on widely used datasets, DRIVE and CHASE DB1.
We introduce the problem of Active Few-Shot Classification (AFSC) where the objective is to classify a small, initially unlabeled, dataset given a very restrained labeling budget. This problem can be seen as a rival p...

Detect-and-Avoid (DAA) capabilities are critical for safe operations of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). This paper introduces, AirTrack, a real-time vision-only detect and tracking framework that respects the size, weight, and power (SWaP) constraints of sUAS systems. Given the low signal-to-Noise ratios (SNR) of far away aircraft, we propose using full resolution images in a deep learning framework that aligns successive images to remove ego-motion. The aligned images are then used downstream in cascaded primary and secondary classifiers to improve detection and tracking performance on multiple metrics. We show that AirTrack outperforms state-of-the art baselines on the Amazon Airborne Object Tracking (AOT) Dataset. Multiple real world flight tests with a Cessna 182 interacting with general aviation traffic and additional near-collision flight tests with a Bell helicopter flying towards a UAS in a controlled setting showcase that the proposed approach satisfies the newly introduced ASTM F3442/F3442M standard for DAA. Empirical evaluations show that our system has a probability of track of more than 95% up to a range of 700m. [Video](1)
