The integration of mobile sensor nodes with existing static nodes poses a significant technological shift to overcome the well-studied limitations of wireless sensor technologies. Over the recent years, it has been identified by many scientists that the application of data aggregation mechanisms can effectively compensate for negative factors affecting the operation of wireless sensor nodes. In this paper, we address the average consensus algorithm with a weight matrix guaranteeing the convergence without any reconfiguration of the edge weights in dynamically changing topologies whereby the data aggregation in mobile wireless sensor networks is significantly optimized in many aspects. Specifically, we examine the performance of the mentioned algorithm with bounded execution for distributed averaging over hybrid wireless sensor networks under various scenarios. Besides, we compare the performance of the algorithm over hybrid networks with its performance over mobile networks. © 2021 IEEE.

Smart grid applications requires network availability with lesser dark spots. The available qualitative requirements with dynamic nodes, static stations and routers need to be validated without collisions. This can reach to back-haul network with reachability of specific nodes and routers in Wireless sensor Network. One method of solving the issue is to use local automate based environment for dynamic nodes. Advanced with static environment configuring address agnostic feature could bridge the gap between static and dynamic environments. The multicast probabilistic model using LA-ANA is proposed with quantified metrics in MAC layer to avoid congestion and dark spots in Wireless sensor Networks. Thus, increasing throughput and fault tolerance levels with 10-15% supporting unicast and multicast delivery. (C) 2021 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

Due to important advancements in hardware manufacturing technology and the creation of effective software algorithms, a wireless sensor network is a system made up of a lot of small, inexpensive sensors that interact wirelessly. This system is now technically and financially practical. The employment of sensor networks in mission-critical environments like combat zones as well as in more commonplace security and business applications like building and traffic surveillance, habitat monitoring, and smart homes, among others, has a lot of promise. Wireless sensor networks, however, provide unique security challenges. Because WSNs are used for so many security-sensitive applications, security is now the top issue for protocol designers who are working on WSNs. We have made an attempt to create a complete list of all known security weaknesses in wireless sensor networks in this study, which also explores a broad range of WSN attacks and their categorization techniques. both the difficulties encountered and the many security methods that may be used to solve them. We tackled the problem in this study and put up a complete, integrated security that would provide security services for all sensor network tasks. It is anticipated to be utilised extensively in the future because of the wireless connectivity, processing power, and sensor technologies it incorporates. A number of security vulnerabilities are present with wireless communication systems.

Bionic fish technology refers to the research and design of mechanical or electronic systems that imitate the movement principle of natural fish, dolphins, or other Marine organisms. It is widely used in ocean observation, search and rescue, military reconnaissance as well as other fields. In the process of manufacturing bionic fish, key technologies of bionic fish robots are the most important. Such as mechanical structure design, fluid dynamics analysis, sensor integration, motion control algorithm, energy supply system, and underwater communication technology. Only through continuous innovation and optimization of these key technologies can high-performance and highly reliable bionic fish robots be achieved. This article mainly introduces the characteristics and applications of three typical bionic fish robots from a technical perspective. Based on this, the main features of the three bionic fish robots are summarized, and their motion efficiency and application fields are analyzed and compared. Finally, it points out some technical challenges that need to be addressed in the development of future underwater bionic robots and their broader application prospects.

In the past decade, the proliferation of Internet of Things (IoT) applications and implementations has exhibited exponential growth, concurrent with advancements in technologies such as machine learning and cloud computing. These technologies facilitate the efficient storage and processing of data for diverse applications. The accelerated expansion is further underscored by the continual evolution of transmission technologies, encompassing both wired perspectives, exemplified by optical fiber communications, and wireless mediums, including $\mathrm{Li}-\mathrm{Fi}$ and the fifth generation of cellular mobile communication. The swift advancement in this domain necessitates the implementation of robust security techniques to safeguard user privacy. This paper focuses on the deployment of the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm in Cipher Block Chaining (CBC) mode, utilizing the $\mathbf{C}$ programming language. This approach renders the proposed solution applicable to a wide spectrum of IoT applications. The paper’s primary objective is to ensure data security, whether transmitted via wireless or wired communication techniques. The proposed solution addresses various scenarios, encompassing the full complexity of AES, cost-efficiency considerations, and the time delay inherent in the specified processes. The conducted tests reveal highly promising results, particularly when applied in real-time applications.

This study discusses the state-of-the-art advancements in approaches and systems of biomedical sensing used to implement distant healthcare monitoring. The performance and accuracy of wearable and implantable sensors as well as their compatibility with mHealth Apps is assessed in the study. The study includes the processing of data collected through wearable devices, implantable sensors, and health applications to evaluate sensor reliability, data aggregation, and system efficiency. As the study has demonstrated, wearable sensors such as heart rate sensors and activity sensors, both have close to perfect accuracy of 95% and, 92% respectively. Other implantable sensors, namely the glucose and pressure sensors, exhibit high accuracy levels of 97% and 96%, respectively, and a minimal latency level. The use of mobile health applications captures the data from the sensors in a very integrated manner with accuracy levels of 92-94%. These interactive conclusions stress the opportunity bestowed by biomedical sensing technologies in advanced chronic disease, eldercare, and other healthcare system arrangements. These and other innovations in the sectors of sensors, data merging, and artificial intelligence will furthermore improve the potential of remote monitoring systems. This paper establishes a foundation for the continuous development of biomedical sensing technologies, as a key constituent of remote health monitoring systems.

sCMOS sensor has broken through the technical bottleneck of high noises and low quantum efficiencies of traditional CMOS sensors. It has the advantages of high sensitivity, high dynamic ranges, low dark current, low readout noises, low power consumption, and high integration, and has gradually become the preferred detector for low-noise imaging systems. Therefore, this paper developed an imaging system with high sensitivity, a high frame rate, low noises, and low power consumption based on a sCMOS sensor. The system adopts a sCMOS image sensor GSENSE400BSI which is very suitable for the requirements of low noises and a high dynamic range in the scientific imaging field as the photosensitive element and XILINX SPARtan-6 FPGA as the control core. Two pieces of high-speed DDR3 are configured to realize ping-pong cache of image data. In the thermal vacuum experimental verification, the total power consumption of the imaging system in the imaging mode is less than 2.2W, and the temperature rise of the sensor is less than 0.1°C. During the in-orbit verification, the imaging system runs stably and the imaging status of the system is good. It has achieved effective monitoring of space targets and high-energy ray bursts and other astronomical phenomena. The image indicators meet the application requirements of commercial space-based telescopes. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The integration of the Internet of Things with WSN s has given emergence to various applications in industries starting from precision agriculture to healthcare, and smart cities. These networks completely depend on well-organized data collection and transmission, where energy consumption is one of the crucial issues. One of the major challenges in WSN is the optimum selection of cluster heads that can directly influence energy efficiency and network lifetime and hence the overall performance. In this context, this paper deals with this challenge by proposing a new method of selecting cluster heads based on Multi-Objective Salp Swarm Algorithm-MSSA. MSSA is proposed to deploy loT for data gathering in the WSN, therefore optimization of cluster head selection have been done with MSSA application. We assess the performance of this approach by comparing it with various established algorithms such as LEACH, PSO, GA, and FCM. These will provide performance metrics necessary for energy consumption, network lifetime, and packet delivery ratio; thus, all critical parameters determining WSN's sustainability could be given in an overview. The experimental results depict that the MSSA-based approach outperforms the benchmark algorithms in terms of energy consumption, lifetime elongation of the network, and data transmission efficiency. This research contributes to the literature by providing an advanced solution to the problem of cluster head selection, offering a more energy-efficient and scalable approach to IoT-enabled WSN applications, such as environmental monitoring and smart infrastructure management.
