internet of Things (IoT)-based hydroponic systems heavily relies on an internet connections for monitoring and control data transmission. Most hydroponic plant parameter monitoring and control systems use only one type of internet network source, so that if the internet network connection is unstable or disconnected data cannot be sent and accessed by farmers, causing interference in monitoring and control. To address this issue, this research developed a system that allows the device to automatically switch internet network sources. The method used to switch internet network sources is by using the TTGO T-Call ESP32 SIM800L microcontroller, which has two internet network modules, namely WiFi and GPRS. The parameter used to switch internet networks is the RSSI value. The test results show that the network switching system works well, as the network source can switch automatically to a stronger network when the signal weakens, ensuring a stable connection for data transmission.

This research is aim to focus on IoT based hand gesture model. Mouse is one of the most important input devices of a computer. It works as a pointing device and allows the user to move the pointer as needed by the user. In the early days, a wired mechanical mouse was used for this purpose. In mechanical mouse a ball is fixed underneath the mouse, which rotates as the user moves the mouse. This movement of the ball is used to move the mouse pointer on the screen. Now mostly we use optical mouse which can be wired or wireless. An optical mouse has a high-power laser below it, which takes more than thousand pictures of the surface below the mouse. An image comparator compares the images and sends the signal to move the mouse pointer as the texture of the image changes. Both the types of mouse works based on old technology. As technology leaps to greater heights, the need for simplicity also increases. With the invention of different kind of sensors, microcontrollers and other electronics, we can eliminate the mouse as an input device and instead use our hands to do the work of a mouse. This prototype is an embedded system which runs with the help of an arduino microcontroller. Flex sensors are used to capture the hand gestures. The proposed IoT based hand gesture model is providing high accuracy rate compare to the regular model. The proposed model is analyzed with accuracy level, the average accuracy level of proposed model is more than 90%.

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) has become very common for tracking applications in homes, stadiums, malls, and hospitals over the last decade. With the outbreak of COVID, the technology was widely used for local tracking of the virus spread [1]. However, despite broad interest in using BLE as a tracker, the primary method is based on Received signal Strength Indication (RSSI) measurements. On the other hand, the previous studies have demonstrated that this method is prone to multi-path and is inaccurate. With the introduction of BLE Direction Finding a shift in localization method has occurred. With the introduction of BEL direction finding, indoor tracking has come closer to its ultimate goal of asset tracking and positioning in crowded indoor environments. In this paper we present a new fast switching antenna array specifically designed for BLE direction finding. Using our newly designed antenna array and switch, we reached to accuracy of approximately 5 degrees degrees.

The widespread and unauthorized use of mobile phones in no-mobile zones such as examination halls, government offices, and hospitals presents significant security, confidentiality, and productivity challenges. Traditional signal-based detection methods fail to detect phones in airplane mode or disconnected from networks, leaving critical gaps in enforcement. To address this issue, we propose "Phone Patrol," a deep learning-based system designed to detect and report unauthorized mobile phone usage. Phone Patrol uses You Only Look Once version 5 (YOLOv5) for detecting individuals with mobile phones and You Only Look Once version 9 (YOLOv9) for face recognition, enabling identification of violators. Deployed on a Raspberry Pi 5, the system processes real-time video feeds and sends automated SMS alerts to offenders, offering a compact, standalone internet of Things (IoT) solution. Experimental results demonstrate that YOLOv5 achieved a mean Average Precision at 50% Intersection over Union (mAP50) score of 0.992, showcasing its accuracy in detecting mobile phones. Although the current prototype has limitations in scalability and optimization for larger environments, it presents a robust proof-of-concept for image-based detection independent of network signals, providing a more comprehensive solution to enforce no-mobile zones effectively.

The State Council's latest Guidance on Actively Promoting “internet +” emphasizes that “the development of a new generation of mobile communication networks and the next generation of the internet should be accelerated”, and the construction of 5G base stations has become a top priority in this new era. However, the current 5G signal has problems such as high coverage duplication rate. This paper proposes an intelligent 5G micro-base station signal identification method based on deep learning. Combining infrared imaging technology and machine learning technology, the deep learning algorithm can effectively reduce the duplicated coverage and the number of base stations installed in some areas, so as to reduce the waste of power caused by the idle power consumption of base stations and enhance the 5G signal strength.

Effective management of attendance systems is crucial for organizations seeking to streamline operations and enhance productivity. With the advent of technology, such as biometric attendance or RFID card-based systems, attendance management has become more advanced. Our proposed system, poised to provide smart attendance management by harnessing the combined power of the internet of Things (IoT) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technologies, offers a promising solution to these challenges. This system automates attendance recording, where RFID cards assigned to individuals are seamlessly detected by RFID readers. The data is then transferred to a cloud-based server for central processing and storage, ensuring that attendance information is readily available and allowing administrators to remotely monitor and manage attendance operations. Additionally, our system notifies students immediately when their attendance is recorded.

In many cases, the safety of persons and commodities is now assured using surveillance drones, which are crucial technical systems. The drone is critical operational asset during surveillance operations because of its rapid deployment and accurate observation. It is crucial to safeguard farmland and agricultural areas from animals, birds, and other species. Numerous measures are attempted to deter human intrusion but they fall short in defending against the farmer's principal foes-animals that trample their crops, both domestic and wild animals must be kept out of the area. A farm protection drone has been employed to prevent such disasters. With the help of a drone technology with raspberry pi, used as animal protection to monitor the farms. To do this, this project makes use of (GSM) Global System for Mobile Communication and (GPS) Global Positioning System Module. A 'SMS'the area that animals observe and detected by image processing will be sent to the farmer and forest officers. © 2023 IEEE.

As cloud shielding is one of the main factors leading to the fluctuation of photovoltaic power, an ultra-short-term probability prediction method of photovoltaic power considering satellite cloud images is proposed. Firstly, a cloud displacement vector algorithm for the outer edge of the cloud cluster is designed, based on the block-area-center-positioned strategy, which improves the calculation efficiency and precision;Then, based on the Gaussian mixture model of multi-station output, a conditional probability model considering cloud occlusion is constructed. The model can give the probability prediction of power for target photovoltaic station, using the historical power of reference stations and predicted power of target station. The model corrects the correlation of adjacent power stations by introducing time delay, which is calculated using the result of cloud displacement vector and Pearson correlation coefficient of power. The cases show that the proposed method is superior to the existing probability prediction methods both in reliability and sharpness.

Values are the concentrated expression of contemporary Chinese spirit, condensing the common value pursuit of all people. To actively cultivate and practice values in the whole society, college students should be at the forefront. While mobile internet technology brings opportunities to the value education of college students, it also brings challenges to the value education of college students. Therefore, giving full play to the advantages of mobile internet technology, guiding college students to cultivate and practice values, and promote the smooth realization of values education goals are important practical issues that colleges urgently need to solve. This article aims to learn how to use mobile internet technology in students’ educational systems. You need to understand the current state of the mobile internet based on the analysis of valuable knowledge, the opportunities provided by valuable knowledge of students in mobile internet technology, as well as dilemmas that lead to valuable student education on the mobile internet technologies. University technology, this article surveyed two universities and made recommendations for existing topics. The survey results show that on the question of "what do you think the existing methods of value education in colleges have?", 22.59% and 24.67% of people choose a single form of teaching, which is unattractive, and 26.37% and 25.19% of people choose outdated teaching content, the timeliness is poor, 29.83% and 20.76% of the people choose the lack of campus culture construction and campus management system. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

E-commerce, or electronic commerce, refers to the purchasing and selling of goods and services conducted over electronic systems such as the internet and other computer networks. Consequently, there is a pressing need to bolster the security of data transmission over the internet to accommodate the expansion of e-commerce applications on the World Wide Web. Data encryption and information masking techniques were introduced and developed to secure these applications' data. The creation of digital picture watermarking schemes is the subject of this thesis. Our main emphasis in this thesis is on the advancements made possible by the Fast Walsh Hadamard Transformation (FWHT). The primary result of this study is a proposed method for implementing FWHT in digital image watermarking. If a picture is described at multiple resolutions, its decoding can proceed in stages, starting at a lower resolution and working its way up to a higher one. In order to better analyse an image, the FWHT separates it into high- and low-frequency components. The edge components are described in the high frequency portion, while the low frequency portion is further divided into high and low frequency segments. Since the human visual system is more insensitive to abrupt changes in edge contrast, low frequency components are typically employed for watermarking. Several metrics, including Mean Square Error (MSE), Peak signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), and Structural Similarity Index Metric, were used to compare the efficacy of various watermarking methods (SSIM). The aforesaid analysis forms the basis for applying Level-2 and FWHT to enhance the image quality characteristics. It is determined which of these FWHT produced the best outcomes by comparing the others. The outcome demonstrates that the extracted watermark is just as easy to recognize as the original. © 2022 IEEE.
