During the last few years, remote sensing is considerably used for Earth observation for the environment and sustainable development. The temporal classes of satellite images provide better information for monitoring the earth's surface at different scales; therefore these images are becoming a very relevant opportunity of investigating. The numerical analyses of image processing are based on the artificial intelligence (AI) tool rather than the traditional methods. The environmental indicators from these images offer very important statistics, the carried out work of dynamic phenomena, the observation event and interpretation of evolving circumstances like: atmospheric conditions, crises and natural disasters taking the opportunity to be studied, several problems come out of deforestation and monitoring of water resources (water bodies). The purpose of this study is focused on drawing out details from the database used and then to give an offer for a texture analysis strategy. Firstly, using specific development and then developing the existing software in the second hand. This work is to establish an algorithm for the detection of region of interest (water body) which is based on the theory of fuzzy logic and the hypothesis of Fuzzy C-Means.

As the internet becomes increasingly image-centric, users face substantial challenges in efficiently locating desired images due to the inherent limitations of image search engines in interpreting visual content and keyword ambiguity. This paper introduces an innovative solution employing psychological intention diagrams to enhance search accuracy. These diagrams harness historical data to depict the search intentions associated with specific keywords, reflecting both user and web designer perspectives. By integrating these diagrams, our proposed search engine significantly refines its ability to predict and retrieve the most relevant images. The implementation of this system involves constructing two types of intention diagrams: one based on past user queries and another derived from the intentions of web designers for cases without historical user data. This dual approach not only captures the semantic essence of images more effectively but also addresses the multi-faceted meanings of search keywords. Our experimental results confirm that incorporating psychological dimensions into image search mechanisms substantially improves precision, facilitating more accurate and user-aligned image retrieval. This pioneering approach is the first to apply psychological profiling in enhancing image search engine functionalities, marking a significant advancement in digital image retrieval technologies.

As the increasing number of multi-camera surveillance systems, researchers have been investigating the potential of multi-view action recognition. The skeleton-based methods are favorable due to the good performance. However, relying on specialized hardware with depth sensors or the efficient estimation for human poses, makes them less suitable for real-world deployment. In this study, we concentrate on the RGB modality for multi-view action recognition and propose a novel cross-view fused network. In details, gated adaptive fusion is utilized to aggregate the global representation across different views and spatio-temporal cross-attention module is employed to facilitate the effective fusion for spatio-temporal features. based on three well-known multi-view action datasets: NTU-60, NTU-120, and N-UCLA, a series of experiments are conducted and verifies the effectiveness and robustness of the method under multi-view scenarios.

The performance of three LoRa modules with similar characteristics and designs was tested to select suitable options for smart applications. The modules were tested in a specific location in Jordan, which has unique terrains and weather conditions. A GPS module was added to simplify measurements of location and elevation. The data collected included the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), the received signal strength indicator (RSSI), and benchmark sensor values for temperature and humidity. A Blynk server and Google Sheets scripts facilitated the real-time tracking process and automation of data collection. The results on signal behavior with distance should provide a guide in LoRa module design specification. A low-cost LoRa development board, which achieved over 7.5 Km in range and provided adequate signal stability, was utilized with a gateway to create a LoRaWAN-based system for smart applications. Distribution system. Further integration to The Things Network (TTN) produced promising outcomes for the LoRaWAN-based system, highlighting its potential for sustainable water management solutions.

image captioning develops a relationship between visual and text information to generate a sequence of words as captions. Transformers perform machine translation and language comprehension together using encoder and decoder structure. With the aim of building a lightweight and production deployment friendly model, we present the Lightweight Transformer with a GRU integrated decoder for image Captioning. In the presented model, the number of encoders and decoders in standard architecture are reduced to single encoder and GRU integrated decoder. Also, Multi-level rich visual features from incepptionV3 improves single unit encoder encoding performance. To validate the efficiency of the proposed Lightweight Transformer architecture extensive experiments are carried out on MSCOCO image captioning dataset. The model achieves appreciable performance in comparison to other state-of-the-art.

The widespread distribution of illegal pornographic material has become a significant societal concern due to the ease of sharing digital content over the internet. Existing detection methods often rely on manual review or keyword filtering, which are time-consuming and ineffective against evolving content. This paper proposes a novel real-time method for detecting duplicate images. The proposed method combines Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) based feature extraction with image hashing techniques for efficient image comparison. In this paper, we describe the dataset composition and procedures for training, and finally, we perform a performance evaluation.

recently, grayscale images have been used in many areas such as healthcare or internet Of Things (IOT), and securing these images has become important and necessary. Encryption is one of the most reliable and effective ways. Scrambling image contents adds an extra level of image security. This paper proposes a simple new method for scrambling gray images using a Chaotic Logistic Map and pixel-level rotation. In the proposed method, the gray image is encrypted first and then divided into several N×M non-overlapped blocks. The image blocks will be rotated according to the encryption key with angles of 90, 180 and 270 degrees. In the same way, the decryption process will reverse the image block's rotation angles first, then retrieve the original image by applying the XORing operation with the same key. The efficiency of the proposed method was evaluated and analyzed by a histogram, Number of Pixel Change Rate (NPCR) and Unified Average Changing Intensity (UACI), information entropy, Peak signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR), correlation coefficient, and Adjacent Pixels Correlation Coefficient (APCC). A comparison with other scrambling methods was carried out and the results boosted the proposed method. © 2022 IEEE.

At present people can easily share multimedia information on internet, which leads to serious data security issues. Especially in medical, military and financial fields, images always contain a lot of sensitive information. To safely transmit images among people, many secret image sharing methods are proposed. However, the existing methods can not solve the problems of pixel expansion and high computational complexity of shadow images at the same time. In this paper, we propose an image sharing method by combining sharing matrix and variational hyperprior network, to reduce the pixel expansion and computational complexity of secret image sharing methods. The method uses the variational hyperprior network to encode images. It introduces the hyperprior to effectively catch spatial dependencies in the latent representation, which can compress image with high efficiency. The experimental results show that our method has low computational complexity and high security performance compared with the state-of-the-art approaches. In addition, the proposed method can effectively reduce the pixel expansion when using the sharing matrix to generate shadow images. © 2022 IEEE.
