In recent years, with the rapid development of geographic information systems and internet technology, more and more methods are used to build location-based geographic information system. Under such circumstances, as a basic service, network map came into being and has been inserted into restaurants, buses, tourist industry and other industries. Therefore, the internet based map of the internet applications is considered to be a treasure of the internet industry. Recently, Google and Baidu opened the application programs development interface to map data itself in order to bring convenience for developers to develop personalized. In this paper, we studied the Javascript-based Baidu map API contrals. It can parse the wireless signal test data and can store and display the geographic information of the objects efficiently. This paper provides a reference for building a low-cost WebGIS.

Panoramic radiography is the most popular imaging modality in dentistry. On the other hand, cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) is usually utilized to review three-dimensional dental structures in high resolution, however, it is less utilized in dental clinics due to its high cost and radiation exposure. An automated method for reconstructing 3D oral cavity structure from panoramic X-ray will be beneficial for patients to reduce expenses for dental care without radiation exposure. As an initial step to the 3D shape reconstruction of the oral cavity, a flattened CBCT 3D volume across the dental arch can be generated from a 2D panoramic X-ray image using a deep learning method. Existing deep learning models are almost based on the encoder-decoder architecture, but their performance has not been well elucidated. In this paper, we evaluated the applicability of attention U-net for reconstructing the flattened CBCT 3D volume from a panoramic X-ray. In our quantitative and qualitative evaluations, the attention U-net outperformed the auto-encoder and led to enhanced perceptual quality. © 2023 IEEE.

No city can be called as smart without smart waste management system and in the very paper we have developed an integrated platform for waste management where dustbins are installed with a network of sensors and they transmit real-time data indicating the fill percentage of the bin. The purpose of this study is to develop an efficient waste management system based on internet of things (IoT) for mobile application. We have observed traditional waste management system of India and have identified a number of issues with current systems. They are unhygienic landfills, overflowing waste bins, limited collection, lack of storage in collection vehicles, and less awareness of separated waste collection, recycling, and reuse. Therefore, this study has been proposed as a solution to cope up with the above issues. This study provides a platform for domestic users, drivers of collection vehicle, and garbage collection authority to interact with solid waste management of the country. The idea of our project was to basically alert the concerned authorities whenever the dustbin of a particular region is full and needs to be taken care of. Our objective is to cover all the dustbins of VIT University and install our smart system into those dustbins so that they could be emptied as soon as they get filled to avoid overflow of garbage and increasing the quality of the environment around the campus. We are making a prototype of the above-mentioned system. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Biomedical engineering and medical informatics are challenging and rapidly growing areas. Applications of information technology in these areas are of paramount imp- tance. The aim of the first ITBAM conference was to bring together scientists, - searchers and practitioners from different disciplines (mathematics, bioinformatics, biology, medicine, biomedical engineering and computer science) having such c- mon interests. We hope that ITBAM conferences will provide opportunities for fru- ful discussions between all attendees and provide a platform where participants can exchange their most recent results, identify future directions and challenges, initiate possible collaborative research and system development, and develop common l- guages for solving problems in the realm of biomedical engineering, bioinformatics and medical informatics. The importance of computer-aided diagnosis and therapy has drawn more and more attention worldwide and laid the foundation for modern medicine with excellent potential for promising applications such as telemedicine, Web-based healthcare and analysis of genetic information. For this conference, after a peer-review process, we finally selected 13 long papers and 8 short papers that are now published in this volume. They are divided in to the following groups: workflow management and database; decision support and data management in biomedicine; medical data modelling and information retrieval; data mining in bioinformatics; knowledge representation and data management in bio- formatics; biological data and signal processing. The papers show how broad the spectrum of topics in applications of information technology to biomedical engine- ing and medical informatics is.

This paper introduces two new compression methods. One of these methods is adaptive and powerful for the compression of hyperspectral data, which is based on separating the bands with different specifications by the histogram analyzes and new version of Binary Hybrid GA-PSO (BHGAPSO) and compressing each one with a different manner. The new proposed methods improve the compression ratio of the JPEG standards and save storage space the transmission system. The proposed methods are applied on different test cases, and the results are evaluated and compared with some other compression methods, such as lossless JPEG and JPEG2000.

External denoising, also known as reference-based denoising, utilizes information from clean reference images, yielding more robust results than internal denoising, especially in situations with high noise levels. The effectiveness of reference-based denoising relies on the similarity between reference and noisy images. In this paper, we introduce a novel external denoising framework for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) that takes advantage of the inherent anatomical structure similarities across subjects. Our framework employs noise-resistant neural networks to extract deep features, which facilitate searches for high-quality reference images from a large external database. This versatile framework is compatible with all reference-based denoising algorithms, obviating the need for acquiring additional reference images from the subject under examination.

In order to improve the visual quality of the original image, an image fusion and enhancement technology based on fuzzy theory is proposed in this paper. For the overexposed image, the corresponding membership function is designed to realize the fuzzy domain transformation of the original image, remove the noise and strong light interference of the original image and retain the details for the subsequent enhancement of the image contrast. The image fusion algorithm based on Laplace pyramid effectively combines the salient features of the blurred image and can provide high-quality spectral content. After verification, the image obtained by our method is better than the original image, Gamma correction image and histogram equalization image in visual effect, and the image processed by our method has higher definition, information entropy and peak signal-to-noise ratio, which verifies the superiority of our method.

For the problem of real-time monitoring and condition decision of high-voltage substation switches, a real-time monitoring algorithm is proposed for the substation folded switch based on geometric analysis of monitoring images. Firstly, capture images containing the folded switch using the properly installed camera, and transfer them to the data processing terminal. Then, search for straight line segments representing two arms of switch using the method of image contour description, and calculate the angles between the segments using the cosine theorem. At last, determine the condition of the switch that whether it is closed well. The experimental results show that the proposed method could accurately calculate the real-time angle of the switch, and then achieve unmanned and real-time monitoring for condition of the switch.

With the advances in digital technology, manufacturing costs of digital camera, multimedia hand phone and PDA are dropping and digital broadcasting is becoming mature. The transmission of digital media through the internet is also getting increasingly popular. Apart from multi-level images, video and audio are in digital form and binary images are also getting digitized in applications involving legal documents, digital books, contracts and electronic drawings. Recently, data hiding techniques have been proposed for ownership protection, copy control, annotation and authentication of digital media. This tutorial provides a review on the latest development in data hiding for authentication in digital media communication. In particular, security in black and white, an emerging technology for the digital media will be delivered. Different data hiding techniques for binary images using pattern based, contour based, and transform domain based approaches will be discussed and analyzed. A distortion measure scheme is proposed to match with the human visual perception. Data hiding technology combined with secure authentication techniques will be discussed for secure media transmission and tracking. Stegananalysis and image forensic in data hiding will also be included in the tutorial.
