Visual fashion style recognition from social media is a key application for online marketing. Currently, such is achieved fully manually, which is ineffectively. We aim to solve it using artificial intelligence. In this paper, a clothing style recognition algorithm based on Mask RCNN is proposed. As the most advanced convolutional neural network, Mask RCNN has made great progress in all aspects of image processing. The paper also contributes a clothing dataset with five different styles. After iterative training, the final MAP of the model reaches 0.79, which can meet the requirements of high-precision clothing recognition. To enable deep learning training and testing, we also propose a fashion style dataset. The experimental results also demonstrate the excellent performance of Mask RCNN in clothing style recognition. © 2022 IEEE.

Adding a vehicle theft security system and improving vehicle technology systems are becoming more and more popular study topics in an effort to prevent car theft in parking lots and occasionally when driving in unsafe locations. This work objective is to develop a prototype model to detect vehicle theft using a facial recognition algorithm. The image is initially captured using a camera that is angled differently, and it is subsequently trained using the cascade Haar classifier technique. Furthermore, a linear binary pattern algorithm in a Python environment is used to extract the captured images. If the extracted image and the training image differ, theft is detected, and the vehicle owner is contacted via the mobile app. The developed prototype model offers a superior security alarm for vehicle theft and is tested with a real-time application.

At present, there have been many researches on indoor location, but due to the weak signal penetration ability in distance-based measurement, it is very easy to be blocked by obstacles, so the accuracy of location will be greatly affected in complex environments. In this paper, the problem of ultra wideband indoor precise positioning under signal interference is studied in order to improve the indoor positioning accuracy of the model under complex conditions and ensure its anti-interference. Firstly, data cleaning is performed, the missing data group is filled or deleted by using the traditional data preprocessing method, and the filtering technology is used to identify and delete outliers. Secondly, the positioning model is established, the distance between the target and the anchor is calculated by using the ranging principle based on the time of flight(TOF), and the genetic algorithm is used for optimization operation to find the target coordinates that meet the minimum absolute value difference between the distance from the target to each anchor and the actual value, so as to continuously train the positioning model. In addition, since UWB(ultra-wideband) technology is unknown whether there is signal interference in the collected data, the classification model is established by the method of amplifying the influence of outliers by means of average, which improves the accuracy of the model in judging whether there is signal interference. Thus, the positioning accuracy of the positioning model in complex situations is increased, the anti-interference of the data is improved, and the accurate positioning of the motion trajectory is realized. © 2022 IEEE.

The Electrocardiogram (ECG) signal is an important tool for cardiovascular diseases analysis. However, still today acquisition devices produce noisy signals that degrades the quality of information by corrupting important features. To improve the quality of the acquired data a filtering process is mandatory. Moreover, a real-time filtering of ECGs, in order to obtain a diagnosis as quickly as possible is a very interesting challenge. In this paper, we consider as denoising filter, the Savitzky-Golay method and we propose a parallel algorithm implementing it. The procedure exploits the computational power of Graphics Processing Units (GPUs). Results in terms of performance and quality are provided.

Infrared imaging systems have been widely used in military and civil fields. However, the degradation of imaging quality is constantly affected by stripe noises. The traditional mean filtering, median filtering, Gaussian filtering, Wiener filtering and other algorithms have dependence on different noise images, and the image edge is blurred by denoising. The popular bilateral filter takes a lot of calculation due to a two-dimension way and floating point spatial proximity factor. In this paper, an infrared sequence image denoising method based on multi-frame averaging and improved bilateral filtering is introduced. An improved bilateral filter with an integer spatial proximity factor is designed, which is realized by one dimension filtering in horizontal and vertical directions. First, basal stripe in each frame image is removed by two-point correction, and the improved bilateral filter is used to smooth the noise and protect the edge of the image at the same time. Second, random noise is further removed by averaging multi-frame with a set of 25 images. The experimental results show that the proposed denoising method can effectively remove the noise and better maintain the edge structural information of the image. © 2022 SPIE.

With the rapid development of computer technology and the internet era, machine vision is a new science and technology formed by the cross-integration of various disciplines such as image processing theory, advanced information science and digital signal processing methods based on computers. The application of computer in information processing has become an inevitable trend, it can better acquire and understand images, and it can quickly and effectively analyze, extract useful targets and provide decision makers with the required content. This can also improve work efficiency and accuracy to achieve a more precise and automated management level, and play a huge role in life. First of all, this paper uses the ORB algorithm for target recognition for the identification and positioning of static targets, but this algorithm still has the problem of low feature matching accuracy. Therefore, an improved ORB feature matching method based on multiple constraints is proposed;Secondly, it studies the design of the machine vision image target recognition system, including the overall function design of the system, the system process design and the system experimental verification. © 2022 IEEE.

Providing security to the IoT system is very essential to protect them from various attacks. Such security features include credential management to avoid hard-coding of credentials in web applications, key management for secure inter-device communication and assignment of trust score to the devices based on various parameters. This work contains the design and implementation details of an open source simulation environment with credential management, key management and trust score calculation features. In credential management, credentials are sent to the target device which is then stored in a JSON file. Web application in the device makes use of these credentials for authentication. In key management, X.509 certificate and private key file are generated. They are used for secure message communication using a session key that is secretly exchanged between the devices. For trust score calculation, parameters are collected from the device. Feedback parameters given by other devices are also sent to the centralised server. The dynamic weighted average model is applied to the trust values derived from these parameters to get the trust score of the device. In addition to the design, the source code of our simulation environment is also made publicly available so that researchers can alter and extend its capabilities. © 2022 IEEE.

In the present scenario, the entire world is doing a lot of investments in the field of medical terminology and to achieve advancement in the medical field. Updated resources and adaptability of new technology in the medical field is the key factor the entire world is looking for. Today, undoubtedly Medical Denoising has become a popular research topic, with new studies being published daily. Thus, denoising of images in medical field images has now turned out to be an important research topic for researchers. In the medical field, CT scanning is an important and commonly preferred technique. In this experiment, edge detection based on medical denoising is performed using two different edge detection operators. For image accession, multiple Computed Tomography CT images are taken from the internet and the entire experiment is carried out on those images. The identification is performed using the Canny operator and Sobel operator and further wavelet domain is implemented on those images that are generated by the above-mentioned edge operators. Further, the performance of the selected operators is evaluated using Structure Similarity Index (SSIM), Peak signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR), and Mean Absolute Error (MAE), of the image. After the successful completion of the experiment, it was found that both the operators produce different forms of output and work completely differently from one other. © 2022 IEEE.

It is estimated that 80% of world trade is transported via maritime logistic. The maritime trade networks can be seen as a graph with links and nodes. For an optimal network, the links representing the maritime routes must be short (with minimal cost) and secure. The nodes of the network represents the maritime ports, which are hub sending, receiving or switching the goods (in form of containers). The ports has passed from analog to digital ports to make use of IT tools to speed up the process, especially the administrative part. Nowadays, we talk about smart ports that uses data to further speed up the process administratively but also use a full automation to accelerate/optimize the processing of the goods/containers in terminals/quay. Terminal Operation System (TOS) is the main components in these operations. Therefore, the use of internet-of-Thing (IoT) in TOS a decisive step towards smart ports. In this work, we propose to extend the notion of IoT in other smart domains to be considered in the smart port paradigm, such smart building, smart grid, smart environment monitoring, etc. Furthermore, we study the optimal strategies for the deployment of a performing networking infrastructure, which is the core element in the IoT layered model. Private network based on Long Term Evolution (LTE/4G) has been estimated to be an optimal solution for private enterprise networking in Industry 4.0. Here, we analyze its suitability for smart maritime ports. © 2022 IEEE.
