In order to improve the jamming recognition and anti-jamming capability of cognitive intelligent radar in modern warfare, this paper proposes a radar deception jamming signal detection method based on YOLOv7. Firstly, four typical jamming signals including distance deception jamming (DDJ), dense false target jamming (DFTJ), interrupted sampling and repeating jamming (ISRJ), smart noise jamming (SNJ) and linear frequency modulation (LFM) signal commonly used in radar are obtained by digital signal processing simulation. Then, the LFM and four jamming signals are transformed into time-frequency spectrum by short-time Fourier transform (STFT) to construct the radar jamming signal image dataset. Finally, the YOLOv7 object detection algorithm is used to detect the jamming signals. The experimental results show that the detection accuracy (mAP) of the proposed method is 99.63%, which can accurately detect the radar deception jamming signal. © 2023 IEEE.

In deep learning applications, facial recognition systems such as facial recognition, facial emotion recognition, facial-based criminal investigation, and facial-based driver monitoring have been researched. These applications show very high performance in recognition and analysis, but there is a problem that the performance is degraded when the face is covered. The purpose of this paper is to restore facial occlusion covered by obstruction. An image generation network is used to restore the face from object such as glasses, makeup, masks, and intentional obstruction. The image generation network recognizes facial occlusion in the input image and fills the area with as natural a look as possible. The proposed model is a three-stage model, and in the first step, the occluded part is recognized and then the occluded object is separated. In the second step, two generators are connected to generate an image from which the occluded object is removed. We used two discriminators to determine the overall appearance and the hidden part, and the resulting results affect the generator's learning compared to the correct answer image. The model's learning uses the original image and the occulded image dataset using CelebA and FFHQ. For the performance analysis of the model, we compared the performance of the proposed model with the comparative models using Fréchet inception distance (FID), SSIM and Peak signal to Noise ratio (PSNR) and the proposed model show 0.8 lower at FID and 0.012 higher at SSIM compared to other models. © 2024 IEEE.

Sound Source Localization (SSL) is an important front-end technology in the field of speech and audio signal processing, widely used in machine fault diagnosis, sound recognition, intelligent conferences, and other fields. This article proposes a high-precision SSL method based on DUET-SRP-PHAT and develops a high-precision multi-source localization system. After collecting data through a microphone array, the system uses Degradation Unmixing Estimation technology (DUET) to separate the mixed signal into source signals and then uses the Steered Response Power with Phase Transform (SRP-PHAT) algorithm to estimate time delay and analyze the position of the sound source. At the same time, the three-dimensional image of the sound source through the upper computer software makes the localization of the sound source more intuitive. Through experiments, it has been shown that the proposed method has an error of less than 6 in single-source and dual-source localization, and less than 8 in three-source localization. This indicates that the developed system has high accuracy and stability. © 2024 IEEE.

This article analyses the physical basis and registration principles of mutual information registration and proposes a mutual information measure using differential image entropy. It compares the mutual information measure of a variety of representative medical examination CT images and uses the neighbourhood the information improves the mutual information of poor medical examination images. The test results show that the mutual information measurement combined with airspace information has better noise resistance. © 2023 IEEE.

In cases of insufficient lighting conditions, the obtained images of optical systems usually suffer from heavy noise, which subsequently has a negative impact on tasks like image segmentation, target detection, and edge extraction. image denoising requires preserving the integrity of original information while eliminating irrelevant data from the signal. Regularization is an effective way to improve the performance of denoising algorithms, it achieves this by introducing additional constraints to ensure stable solutions. In this paper, we propose a hybrid regularization method which is based on the weighted combination of the L0-norm and L1-norm of image gradients. In order to obtain reliable denoising results, we have also developed a highly efficient alternately minimization algorithm to solve the resulting complex optimization problem. The algorithm utilizes variable splitting and Lagrange multipliers to determine the optimal solution, effectively transforming the initial problem into a simple convex optimization problem and a quadratic optimization problem, which can be rapidly solved in frequency domain. In the end, we conducted experiments to prove the efficiency of the proposed method. The results show that it is stable, efficient and the quality of the denoised images is comparable to some state-of-the-art methods. © 2024 SPIE.

Embedded detection systems are a critical research topic in intelligent monitoring equipment. In response to the current challenges in balancing real-time performance, accuracy, and stability in embedded hardware detection systems, this paper proposes a software architecture system based on multi-core digital signal processing (DSP), incorporating the image detection Canny algorithm into this system. Initially, the paper discusses the selection criteria for multi-core DSPs and then introduces a multi-core self-check function that can effectively ensure system stability. It also proposes a multi-core communication handshake protocol that significantly enhances the system's real-time performance. Furthermore, an improved multi-core master-slave architecture is presented, which includes the addition of a timer to the conventional architecture, providing a temporal guarantee for system operation. Finally, the Canny algorithm is selected and applied to this software architecture, with parallel acceleration processing applied to parts of the algorithm. Operational tests have demonstrated that the system maintains stable internal data flow, with its detection accuracy and speed meeting the set requirements. © 2024 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Most of the conventional power system remote video monitoring systems are designed based on the SIP principle. In the actual monitoring operation process, there are problems such as poor real-time monitoring and high packet loss rate. In order to solve this problem, RTP technology is introduced and a remote video monitoring system for power system based on RTP technology is designed. based on the optimized design of the monitoring system hardware, the monitoring system software and software functions are designed. First, the remote video surveillance image of power system is filtered to remove most of the signal noise in the remote video surveillance image. Secondly, the background of power system remote video monitoring is updated to achieve the ideal segmentation effect of video monitoring image. The remote video monitoring module is designed to carry out remote video real-time monitoring of the operating conditions of the power system. The real-time transmission function of remote video image in power system is designed by using RTP technology. According to the system test results, after the proposed monitoring system is applied, with the increase of system running time, its packet loss rate is below 1%, and the real-time performance of remote video monitoring is high. © ICST Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering 2024.

Co-frequency interference (CFI) has plagued giant non-geostationary orbit (NGSO) constellation systems. Due to the large number of available communication satellites and interfering satellites within the visual range of a ground station (GS), the potential interference suffered by a GS selecting different communication satellites to establish a communication link is different. In this paper, we propose a communication satellite selection criterion based on maximizing the expected signal-to-noise ratio (MESINR), which determines the selected communication satellites based on the maximum value of the average signal-to-noise ratio (SINR) during the available time of the visible communication satellites. Simulation results show that the MESINR-based method proposed in this paper can improve the communication quality of the interfered NGSO system and reduce the probability of CFI among NGSO systems to a certain extent, compared with the three satellite selection principles, namely, maximum communication duration, minimum communication distance and maximum communication elevation angle. © 2023 IEEE.

In recent years, respiration sensing has flourished. However, most existing solutions are based on Wi-Fi signals, suitable for single-target scenarios, and are limited in sensing distance due to noise interference. Compared to Wi-Fi systems, cell-free millimeter-wave systems have advantages such as large bandwidth, better security, and stronger stability, enabling finer-grained respiration sensing. Therefore, we proposed a multi-target respiration sensing method based on cell-free millimeter-wave system. First, we use the Extensive Cancellation Algorithm (ECA) to extract static signals. By leveraging the time-invariant property of static signals, we compensate for the asynchronous clocks of the transceivers without compromising the linear property of the received signal. For multi-target scenarios, we decompose the received signal in the subcarrier domain using Independent Component Analysis (ICA) and demonstrate the feasibility of this approach. Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed method achieves a wider sensing coverage when only one pair of transceiver nodes is used, up to a maximum sensing distance of 20 meters with a relative error limit of 10%. When limited to the same absolute error constraint (0.5 bpm), the proposed scheme achieves about 40% improvement in sensing range compared to other sensing schemes. © 2024 IEEE.

Rotation invariance is one of the important research contents of template matching algorithm. This paper mainly discusses the matching problem of target image under the condition of rotation, and proposes a template matching method based on continuous circular projection transformation. In this method, the continuous circular projection transformation model is used as the feature mapping method, and the feature vector with rotation invariance is obtained by combining the gray feature extraction method of the local gradient extremum, and the template matching is completed based on the vector. The experimental results show that the matching rate of the algorithm is 95.8% in the original data set;the occlusion matching rate of the algorithm is 98.3%_in the rotated image set and_the matching rate is 85.4% in the interference image set. © 2023 IEEE.
