Digital chaotic generators have been investigated for many decades. However, their performances in terms of the tradeoff between security and speed, as well as their use in many systems for secure information, has not been sufficiently addressed and demonstrated. We propose a very efficient digital chaotic generator and we demonstrate its capability to build robust and fast chaos based cryptosystems, and chaos based steganography systems. Also, the proposed chaotic generator, can be used to build efficient chaos based watermarking systems.

Aimming at the problem of weeding robot has a bigger radius when changing lines in paddy fields. A novel system of weeding robot based on visual navigation was proposed. Firstly, a special and compact mechanical structure of weeding robot is designed. Secondly, to control the weeding robot automatic navigation, motion control and motors driver board and realtime video capture board respectively were designed. The visual navigation algorithm implemented in TI SOC DM6446 on the video capture module. When video capture is completed, the attitude parameters of seedling centerlines were calculated and detected based on the color model and the nearest neighbor algorithm of clustering combined with Hough transform. Finally, according to the parameters, weeding robot was driven to walk along line corps and cut off weeds with the crawler mobile mechanism in stamping mode. When arriving at the end of raw crops, the weeding robot adjusts the supporting device and striding device to fulfill automatic change lines. Nonholonomic equation with parameter uncertainty was applied to the problem of robot motion control system during the navigation process. The effectiveness of the proposed approach was validated by paddy field tests according to the proposed system. And the results show that weeding robot can correctly achieve line-changed action and meets fast, accurate weeding job requirements.

In this paper, we review our recent research activities on the investigation of the feasibility of using the optical fiber-based nonlinear signal processing technologies for all-optical UWB radio signal processing. image processing is one of the hottest research field and researchers from the last decade have proposed many efficient approaches for image analysis and retrieval. Semantic technologies like ontology offers promising approach to image retrieval as it tries to map the low level image features to high level ontology concepts. In this paper, we have proposed Ontology basedimage Retrieval (OIR) system, which uses domain specific ontology for image retrieval relevant to the user query. The user can give concept / keyword as text input or can input the image itself. Mammals domain is chosen as a test case and its ontology is developed. The OIR system is trained on Mammals dataset and tested on large number of test cases related to this domain. Experimental results show the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed system.
