With the cooperation of internet devices, VR (Virtual Reality) technology processes data information in real life through electronic signal parameters. With the help of VR glasses, this virtual signal is transformed into a sensory phenomenon that people can experience. In order to simulate the highway traffic flow better, we decided to develop 3D animation simulation software to make users feel immersive. In this paper, a set of road panoramic VR simulation system based on GA (Genetic Algorithm) and VR is developed, which will use VR technology and VR language to establish common highway models. Focusing on the optimal placement of multi-entities in 3D space and the automatic generation of corresponding 3D scenes, an optimal solution preserving GA is proposed to solve the optimal placement problem of multi-entities in 3D space. The 3D model adopts a frame structure, which matches the object edge of the target image through the rotation, translation and projection of the model, which is line-to-line matching. based on the optimal solution, GA is maintained to realize the hierarchical placement of multiple entities in a given area. When the given area cannot accommodate all the entities to be placed, the entities are placed in multiple layers, thus reducing the restrictions of the area on entity placement. It makes it possible to roam large scenes on the computer and realize real-time interaction of road scenes. © 2023 IEEE.

Japan has the highest number of CT scanners per million people among developed countries, and the annual medical radiation dose is about six times higher than the world average. Screening of high-risk populations by means of low-dose CT has been verified to be able to reduce lung cancer mortality. However, the low-dose CT image noise should be accurately estimated in order to achieve good image quality as normal dose CT. In this paper, we apply a denoising method using convolutional neural networks without use of the clean images during learning phase. The CNN model is based on SRResNet, which has achieved high performance in super-resolution tasks, and has two attention mechanisms, Spatial Attention and Channel Attention, in the Residual Block. Experiments using whole body slice CT images of pigs showed that the proposed method is useful by comparison with normal dose CT images and by evaluation of image quality using peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR). © 2023 ICROS.

A GPR radargram of a buried object shows reflections from the target as well as from several unintentional objects or clutters. Furthermore, the signal is corrupted by the background noise, ground bounce and the direct waves of the antennas. The requirements to effectively extract the target signature are clutter must be eliminated and there should be no extra noise effects. Although the clutters in the data cannot be completely eliminated, background removal techniques significantly reduce their impact. Typically, background can be removed using mean subtraction, but the results are just marginally adequate. An eigen image based background removal is used in this paper. The noise effects are reduced using curvelet transform (CT) based denoising. The output significantly reduces noise and clutter, enhancing the efficiency of the detection and classification stages of a GPR system. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, we consider rate splitting multiple access (RSMA) based simultaneous refracting/transmitting and reflecting (STAR)-reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) aided downlink wireless network for the data transmission from an access point (AP) to two internet-of-Things devices (IoDs) over Nakagami fading channel. AP executes the integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) principle to eliminate the issue of undesired interference between a communication system and a target. RIS association with RSMA is used in the system to enhance the quality of signal at a higher sum rate. To evaluate the performance of the proposed system, we analyze the outage probability and ergodic sum rate. Simulation results show the impact of the diversity order of Nakagami parameter, and configurable elements of RIS on the system performance along with the sensing performance of AP. Almost 10% rate enhancement is achieved through RSMA compared with non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) technique at 10 dBm transmit power.

Modal parameter identification technology of fan structure is an important step in the implementation of fan health monitoring, and it is an important technical basis for system identification and fan damage detection. As the yaw bearing of wind turbine is installed at the bottom of the engine room and works in the field all the year round, the working environment is harsh, the bearing size is large and the load is complex, the optimization and design of the structural parameters of the yaw bearing has always been one of the important reasons hindering the rapid development of wind turbine. The purpose of this paper is to apply the new signal processing method EWT to bridge modal parameter identification through research and improvement, so as to seek a new method of modal parameter identification in time and frequency domain. In this paper, on the basis of vibration monitoring of fan under strong noise environment excitation, after a series of data preprocessing such as wavelet threshold de-noising, the modal parameters of the monitoring data are identified by using the method based on wavelet and singular value theory. By comparing the modal parameters identified according to the measured values of Xi' an bell tower, the parameters calculated according to the code and the modal parameters obtained from the modal analysis of the three-dimensional finite element model, the transverse and longitudinal natural frequencies, damping ratios and modal shapes of the fan are identified, the results are consistent with the theoretical values calculated by finite element method, which verifies the feasibility of modal parameter identification method based on wavelet and singular value theory. After signal processing and analysis, the modal parameters identified by EWT method are reliable. Although there is a certain degree of error with the theoretical value calculated by finite element method, the error is within 2%, which is acceptable. © 2023 IEEE.

Creating intelligent robots, such as those used to provide excellent customer service, is a huge step forward for society in many ways. Robots are slowly taking over many workplaces with their frequent replacement of human labor. Automation robots have found applications in the defense sector, the intelligence community, the medical field, and other manufacturing sectors. These very advanced electromechanical bots are AI machines with extensive computer programming. This research analyzes the implementation of a robotic surveillance system designed for high-risk, out-of-the-way places like border monitoring or war zones. This technology's major goal is to replace troops in border monitoring responsibilities. Many defense departments use robots to do duties that jeopardize human lives. Cameras, internet access, live video streaming, GSM modems, wireless communication modules, and life-saving sensors are among the integrated technologies used in these defensive robots. The transmitter sends a control signal to the receiver when a target vehicle or item is linked and intended for remote control. Military robots may be remotely monitored and commanded using internet of Things (IoT) technology. The various defense robots have optimized configurations for their roles. A multipurpose defense robot driven by LoRa technology lowers human error in defensive operations and saves lives. In this paper, we design a convolutional neural network based on the ideas of depthwise separable convolution and inverted residual module. The scaling factor of BN layer is used as a measure for channel pruning of the network model to compress it. By analyzing the layer-by-layer pruning process of conventional convolution, the layer-by-layer pruning method with depthwise separable convolution and inverted residual structure is proposed to prune the channels of the network model, and finally, the channel pruning strategy of classification simplification network is developed. Tests on the selected dataset showed that the classification accuracy of the pruned and fine-tuned network model is 97.7% when the pruning rate is 0.7. © 2022 SPIE.

The application of wireless Ad-Hoc network technology in urban rail transit can improve the performance of urban rail transit vehicle-ground communication systems and is more conducive to meeting the demand of next-generation urban rail transit vehicle-ground communication. This paper focuses on the routing maintenance mechanism of urban rail transit Ad-Hoc network, and introduces a link prediction-based routing maintenance mechanism for the characteristics of trains moving at high speed in urban rail transit Ad-Hoc network, so as to avoid the problem of frequent link breakage when trains are moving forward, which leads to data transmission performance degradation. The relevant simulation results show that the proposed routing maintenance mechanism for Ad-Hoc networks of urban rail transit can provide more efficient data transmission methods while reducing the routing overhead in the network. © 2023 IEEE.
