In contemporary year, multimedia data is transmitted and accessed through internet. Despite of its advantages, unauthorized copying, distribution and hacking of data has created security issues. So secure transmission and access of the biometric data has to be suggested. A single biometric identification is not preferable in most highly secured areas due to their parody attacks and ageing. These limitations can be overcome by deploying this system that incorporate information from multiple sources for personnel identification. In this project multiple sources are incorporated using Digital watermarking algorithm comprising both the spatial and frequency domain approach. Even though the digital watermarking scheme is highly secured, network hackers may easily trap the image and it's key. So to increase the security, encryption and decryption of watermarked image using RSA algorithm is employed at the transmission and the reception side respectively. So the cipher text image is alone transmitted in the network increasing the security of the multimodal data. The Stillness of this proposed scheme is measured by Quality Index (QI), Similarity of the original and the recovered images for various attacks and Peak signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR). © 2023 IEEE.

To solve the complicated calculation problems of SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) image geometric correction, limited by low nonlinear reading and writing efficiency of massive data, and inability to meet real-time performance requirements, a SAR geometric correction technology based on block parallel is proposed, and the numerical boundary of nonlinear matrix projection geometric correction is derived firstly, which completes the accurate division of projection grid, and combines the full use of multi-core DSP (C6678) cache, Compared with the geometric correction CPU, the serial processing can achieve an acceleration ratio of 189.32, which is 45.8 times higher than the DSP based multi-point parallel projection, gets excellent acceleration performance. © 2023 ACM.

Aiming at the problems of difficulty in fault data collection and scarcity of fault samples in gas turbine rotor fault diagnosis, a gas turbine rotor fault diagnosis model based on VIT model and transfer learning is proposed. Firstly, the acquired one-dimensional vibration signal is converted into a two-dimensional time–frequency image by continuous wavelet transformation as the input of the VIT model, and the fault diagnosis is realized through its recognition of time–frequency image and feature extraction. Using CRWU bearing dataset to pre-train the model combined with transfer learning, only the weights in the MLP Head structure are migrated by freezing the part before the MLP Head structure and using the gas turbine rotor dataset fault classification, the results show that the fault recognition accuracy reaches 99.5% after transfer learning, and the superiority of the proposed model is proved by comparative experiments. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

Convolutional neural net is an advanced neural network whose structure consists of multiple convolutional layers and pooling layers, and its application in the field of image processing is outstanding. As an electrophysiological signal characterising brain activity, EEG signal is currently of great research significance in many fields such as artificial intelligence applications, intelligent medical care and human-computer interaction. In this paper, based on the deep learning method, based on the training of convolutional neural network CNN and LSTM hybrid model, the diagnosis of EEG signals of people with mild cognitive impairment is carried out, and the diagnostic accuracy obtained is as high as 98%, which confirms the feasibility of the application of convolutional neural network in EEG signals. © 2023 IEEE.

Information security is currently a major problem for data communication. Cryptography has emerged as a treatment and is essential to information security systems. Techniques for encryption can effectively prevent attacks on images. Elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) is an approach of public-key encryption, depends on the algebraic grouping of elliptic curves over finite fields. The present study introduces an intriguing elliptic curve cryptography-based image encryption approach and applied it to various images. The proposed technique was tested. We computed the number of pixels change rate (NPCR), unified average changing intensity (UACI), and peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) to assess the effectiveness of the suggested technique. © 2024 IEEE.

The Federated Learning (FL) approach can be exploited to build a solution to data sparsity and privacy protection issues (e.g., utilization of user-sensitive data) in Quality of Experience (QoE) modelling. In this paper, we investigate whether it is possible to obtain improvements in FL-based inference by grouping data sources to build separate inference systems. To this, we adopted an experimental based approach: firstly, we identified different clusters of users, from a public QoE dataset, based on user-related QoE influence factors and the distributions of the quality rating scores provided by the users; secondly, we developed a Cluster-based FL QoE pre-dictor and conducted experimental tests to compare the QoE prediction performance with that obtained by a centralised learning approach and a standard FL approach. The obtained results show that the proposed approach achieved the best QoE prediction performance (in terms of accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-Score), followed respectively by the standard FL and the centralised approach.

With the rapid advancement of object detection technology, its role in intelligent transportation systems has become increasingly significant. However, two major challenges persist in complex traffic environments: 1) the need for further optimization of real-time detection and 2) limited detection accuracy under multi-scale and multi-target conditions. To address these issues, we propose a Multi-Scale and Multi-Target Thermal Infrared Traffic Detection method based on an improved YOLOv8. A novel Parm_C2f module is introduced, which increases the number of parameters without compromising the inference speed, thereby enhancing the model's encoding capability. Additionally, the DNC_Detect Head, leveraging deformable convolution, is incorporated to improve the model's performance in multi-scale and multi-target detection. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms the YOLOv8 algorithm on challenging thermal infrared radiation datasets, showcasing its robust object detection performance in the transportation domain. © 2024 SPIE.

With the help of linked device monitoring networks and image processing algorithms, sensors have lately advanced to a whole new level. Man-animal conflicts, a major issue in the agricultural and forest zones, put human lives in jeopardy and squander vast amounts of resources. This problem can be resolved by utilizing a wireless sensor-equipped animal incursion warning system. With a photograph, it instantly notifies the forest officials and the proprietor. This might provide an early warning signal to take the appropriate response, depending on the type of infiltration as they are crucial which enables timely intervention, preventing potential damage to crops and minimizing human-animal conflicts. Once the sensor detects movement from the animal, image processing will be used by the camera to take the picture. The obtained image has a label. © 2024 IEEE.

Virtual reality technology is a new practical technology that comes directly from the application and involves many disciplines. It is a comprehensive and integrated technology that combines advanced computer technology, sensing and measurement technology, simulation technology, and microelectronics technology. The virtual image is a dynamic image expression in the field of visual image, which is digitally generated by a computer and has its own unique image construction method. As the application of virtual reality technology deepens, the complexity and realism of virtual scenes are required more and more, far exceeding the processing capacity of computer graphics hardware. Therefore, there is an urgent need to resolve the contradiction between the complexity of the scene and the real-time nature of the interaction. In this paper, based on the review of related literature, virtual reality image generation methods and augmentation technology methods are reviewed. Several problems of simplification of multi-resolution models based on computer technology and the classification of algorithms are constructed, and the practical application of multi-resolution models in solving the problems of complexity and real-time scenes is discussed. It is demonstrated that the realism and practicality of the images are achieved by constructing smooth curve models and reducing the coupling of image errors so that the virtual reality images are generated with improved accuracy and clarity for better research use. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.
