Due to the increasing cost of fossil fuels and other non-renewable resources, Environmental conditions and higher capacity accumulator's transformation method has been changing day by day. Though modern controllers are adopted in Electric vehicles, the primary source of battery which causes error and need to enhance the parameters. In this paper, an Improvement of the dynamic performance of the Battery Electric drive is presented. Here DC-DC Converter with different topologies has been compared for the performance of Electric Vehicles. Battery current ripples and converter losses which creates problem in Electric vehicles. Hence Improved SEPIC Converter is designed for the improvement of Electric vehicles. The Conventional linear controllers such Proportional Integral and Derivative (PID) which require analytical modeling system. Besides a Digital Controller FPGA is complete opposite PID which is based trial and error method, and doesn't include any mathematical analyze modeling of the system. However the FPGA is more sturdy (tough), has more strong study state response, and it is able to attain transient and steady state response as compared to PID controllers. The above approach is applied and experimented with simulation software for the performance the SEPIC (DC to DC converter) is discussed here in this research. Finally, the investigations of selected drive performance such as Battery Voltage, Current, Ultra Capacitor current and PID Controllers parameters and digital controllers Evaluation Parameters are presented here. © 2022 IEEE.

Traffic congestion is a critical issue in urban areas, contributing to increased travel time, fuel consumption, and environmental pollution. Traditional traffic signal control methods, such as fixed-time systems, cannot adapt to real-time changes in traffic conditions. This paper presents a novel approach using Deep Q-Networks (DQN) to control traffic signals based on realtime traffic data dynamically. Our simulation environment models a four-way intersection, where vehicle densities and wait times are continuously monitored. The DQN agent optimizes green light durations by minimizing vehicle wait times and maximizing traffic throughput. Extensive simulation results demonstrate that our system significantly reduces congestion and improves traffic flow compared to traditional fixed-time systems. Furthermore, the approach shows potential for real-world applications in urban traffic control systems, particularly in smart cities equipped with Internet of Things (IoT) devices.

Due to the increase in population accompanied by the expansive growth of urban residential areas, the demand for efficient and reliable water distribution systems has increased rapidly. And as urbanisation increases day by day this demand for water is equal to the need for sustainable water management and distribution systems. Thus, it becomes an utmost necessity for the implementation of proper controlling and monitoring mechanisms to prevent wastage of water and also attempts of water theft. As a solution to these challenges, many advanced technologies have been identified all over the world to ensure effective distribution of water to reach every household especially in urban areas. Therefore, my paper estimates and understands the current state of automated water distribution systems with a prime focus on monitoring performance and control through PLC (programmable logic controller) applications. In the initial areas of this paper, it focuses on the basic concept of automatic water distribution that has been implemented in the current scenario in urban areas. This study includes thorough research on the details of the system, how it is operated, its principles, and intended functions. The next stage of research will be focussed on a comparative analysis of various technologies that have been studied and implemented in the field of automated water distribution. This paper shows key innovations, challenges and future goals in the realm of automated water distribution. It also shows the possibility for the integration of PLC systems, discussing how efficiently these systems contribute to the optimization of the water distribution process. Thus, proving PLC systems plays a crucial role in improving the overall performance and sustainability of water distribution systems by monitoring real-time data.

This paper presents Simu5G, a new OMNeT++-based system-level simulator of 5G networks. Simu5G is built starting from the SimuLTE simulation library, which models 4G (i.e., LTE/LTE-A) networks, and is compatible with the latter, thus allowing the simulation of 4G-5G coexistence and transition scenarios. We discuss the modelling of the protocol layers, network entities and functions, and validate our abstraction of the physical layer using 3GPP-based scenarios. Moreover, we report profiling results related to Simu5G execution, and we describe how it can be employed to evaluate Radio Access Network configurations, as well as end-to-end scenarios involving communication and computation, e.g., with Multi-access Edge Computing applications.

This paper presents a novel approach to dynamically modeling three-phase induction motors within the ABC reference frame. Induction motors are prevalent in various industrial applications, necessitating accurate models for effective control and optimization. Conventional modeling techniques often overlook key electrical and mechanical dynamics, leading to suboptimal control performance. The proposed model integrates additional elements such as rotor flux dynamics, stator and rotor resistance variations, and saturation effects into the dynamic framework. Utilizing the ABC reference frame aligns the model closely with the motor's physical structure, enhancing fidelity and predictive capabilities. Furthermore, the model accommodates non-linearities and parameter variations inherent in real-world scenarios. This manuscript's primary goal is to offer an induction motor model in the ABC reference frame. With the suggested model, a thorough examination of a three-phase induction motor can be assessed. Utilizing MATLAB R2024a software, analytical analysis and simulation studies will be conducted. The suggested model can be used to test fault diagnostic algorithms for induction machine faults.

The fact that urban areas are preferred places to live is evidence of a sophisticated system in which authorities can effectively satisfy citizens' needs and address economic, social, and environmental sustainability issues while facing several obstacles. The smart city idea improves sustainable development, human flourishing, and economic expansion. The smart city concept can potentially enhance a wide range of municipal operations, including transportation, energy, and healthcare, education, and resource management. Many network quality, stability, and security issues have arisen from developing smart cities and IoT applications. The dispersed nature of smart cities and IoT technology has led to problems with service reliability, longevity, and safety. This paper proposes Big Data Integrated Edge Computing modeling (BDIECM) to improve data management interfaces' security and sustainability elements in various smart city applications to eliminate hazards. Edge computing allows for distributed processing and communication, useful in various contexts, including intelligent transportation systems, health and social services. Edge computing's ability to reduce latency is particularly useful for mission-critical applications. The system coordinates between dispersed edge servers and security mediator nodes for smart city use cases. The simulation results validate the suggested approach can significantly enhance the security ratio of95.2%, sustainability ratio of94.1 %,reliability ratio of 91.4 %, scalability ratio of 93.5 %, latency ratio of 21.1 %, and data transmission ratio of 96.2 % compared to other methods.

This paper provides a detailed description of a CMOS Ring VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) that has been improved for use in wireless communication systems such as Bluetooth and WiFi. A voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) is an essential component of wireless transceivers because it controls the signal frequency, which allows for clock generation, phase—locked loops, and optimised signal modulation in frequency and phase. The design of the chip scale monolithic ring VCO was centred around three key elements: simplicity, ease of manufacture on a chip scale, and performance flexibility. It is important to minimise power consumption to a minimum, access a higher frequency scale, and maintain absolutely accurate values when designing. The essay delves further into CMOS technology, covering topics like as transistor sizing, biasing type, and passive component selection, among many others. Siemens’ 22 nm VLSI from Mentor Graphics Using these technical simulations, we can find out the phase noise characteristics, signal range, and frequency range type. To improve the VCO’s performance even further, we investigate other engineering design methodologies, such as noise reduction procedures and nonlinear optimisation. CMOS Ring VCO and its careful optimisation of the CMOS ring utilising simulation-based analysis, measurements used to test the performance of existing wireless applications have seen great progress. Future advancements in wireless communication systems will be possible owing to this research, which clarifies the present state of the art in CMOS and GaAs based VCO design.

In Activities of Daily Living (ADL) research, which has gained prominence due to the burgeoning aging population, the challenge of acquiring sufficient ground truth data for model training is a significant bottleneck. This obstacle necessitates a pivot towards unsupervised representation learning methodologies, which do not require many labeled datasets. The existing research focused on the tradeoff between the fully supervised model and the unsupervised pre-trained model and found that the unsupervised version outperformed in most cases. However, their investigation did not use large enough Human Activity Recognition (HAR) datasets, both datasets resulting in 3 dimensions. This poster extends the investigation by employing a large multivariate time series HAR dataset and experimenting with the models with different combinations of critical training parameters such as batch size and learning rate to observe the performance tradeoff. Our findings reveal that the pre-trained model is comparable to the fully supervised classification with a larger multivariate time series HAR dataset. This discovery underscores the potential of unsupervised representation learning in ADL extractions and highlights the importance of model configuration in optimizing performance.

Usability testing of products has commonly been used to test desktop applications, websites, online tools, and various types of learning platforms. This paper discusses usability and workload testing for a portable training simulation technology for Air Traffic Control (ATC) trainees. The NASA-TLX (Task Load Index) was developed for the purpose of measuring user subjective workload, and is useful for a variety of tasks, including online or computer-based training sessions such as the one being described in this paper. This multidimensional assessment tool rates users' perceived workload, which is then correlated with other aspects of performance such as accuracy, speed, response times, etc. At the conclusion of the human factors experiment, the data indicated that participants found the simulation software to be relatively easy to learn and use, and did not experience high workload while using it.

According to this study, the ECAP process with different BP is performed on the engineering magnesium alloy (AZ31). The effect of BP on the strain condition and flow paths may differ as the statically deformed portion of the sample passes through the strain zone. The BP application of 25, 50 and 100 MPa brings about the forward typical shear rotation of structural components in the horizontal direction. The complex (20 x 20 x 200) mm3 ECAP engine is applied with movable outer walls and specially designed sliding bottoms for low friction (moving die). The flow model is made by a cubic flow net of the DEFORM software tool on the workpiece. Structural features and initial micro-hardness measurements made on the x and y planes of the workpiece also received a special attention. Since BP leads to increased density the micro-hardness could be improved and ascribed to the change in texture. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
