In order to measure the relationship between the number of positive Lyapunov exponents and the degree of chaos in a better way, the concept of degeneracy is introduced in this paper. A new non-degenerate continuous time five - dimensional hyperchaotic system is constructed with the maximum number of positive Lyapunov exponents, which shows that the whole system has good chaotic properties. The system is implemented in an FPGA platform using Verilog programming language, which makes it easier to control the parameters and initial values of the system. In this paper, the top-down design concept is adopted to design and write the system functions, and the non-degenerate five-dimensional continuous time hyperchaotic system is simulated and verified in VIVADO FPGA hardware development platform. The simulation results are compared with the results obtained by MATLAB numerical simulation, and a method to solve the problem of data accuracy in the process of FPGA computing chaotic system is proposed. In order to provide a new implementation of hyperchaotic system based on FPGA. © 2023 IEEE.

The premise of data migration is to have a more accurate set to be migrated. However, in the traditional single storage system, due to the different data access characteristics of all the storage devices, the high complexity of the devices, and the high computational cost, which lead to the poor reading and writing performance of the system devices, the large error rate of identifying data, and further reduce the utilization rate of resources. Therefore, this paper is committed to proposing a data migration evaluation model based on data importance. Through literature method and experiment, it analyzes the significance of data and the impact of various data characteristics and indicators of potential value on the importance of data, establishes a scientific and reasonable evaluation method, and judges the cold and hot degree of data according to the degree of data importance. simulation experimental results show that compared with only considering access frequency and access time, the hit rate of data migration under the proposed evaluation model is improved. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper deals with the interfacing of open-source PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) with augmented reality. The goal is to create an interactive environment for monitoring and control of automation processes. Creating new types of human-machine interfaces (HMIs) is one of the challenges of the Industry 4.0 concept and also relates to the Industry 5.0, which is the coming revolution to be human-centric. The practical part of the project focuses on the implementation of interfacing between PLC and augmented reality using OPC UA (Open Platform Communications Unified Architecture) and MQTT (MQ Telemetry Transport) interfaces. The work results in creation of working prototype that uses 3D engine Unity and ARCore library to create an interactive augmented reality environment. © 2023 IEEE.

The rapid development of cloud scenarios and applications has led to increased demand for computing power. However, a single X86 CPU architecture can no longer meet the diverse business needs of users. As a result, mainstream cloud infrastructure platforms have begun to support other CPU architectures, such as ARM and RISC-V. Nevertheless, the financial pressure associated with purchasing CPU hardware of different architectures to assemble cloud infrastructure with multi-CPU architectures is a challenge for scientific research institutions or small enterprises. To address this issue, this paper proposes and implements a simulation-based multi-CPU architecture virtual machine management system based on the open source cloud operating system OpenStack. With this system, multiple CPU architecture virtual machines can be created and managed in a single CPU architecture hardware environment, thus offering a cost-effective solution for multi-CPU architecture cloud infrastructure. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents a comprehensive experimental study of a novel trust-based security architecture for edge computing environments. We introduce an adaptive security framework that combines dynamic trust evaluation with decentralized decision-making mechanisms to enhance threat detection and system resilience. Through extensive simulation experiments, we evaluate the architecture's performance across various network configurations, ranging from 20 to 100 nodes, with different operational parameters and security event patterns. The simulation framework implements a sophisticated spatial distribution model for edge nodes, incorporating computational constraints, memory limitations, and communication boundaries typical of edge computing environments. Our results demonstrate that the proposed architecture achieves an 83.0% threat detection rate while maintaining network resilience at 95.6%, significantly exceeding baseline security requirements. The trust management mechanism demonstrates robust adaptation to security events, maintaining average trust scores of 78.6% despite active security incidents. We provide detailed analysis of system behavior under various attack scenarios, including intrusion attempts, data leaks, DDoS attacks, and authentication failures. The architecture shows exceptional scalability characteristics, with improved detection rates and trust stability in larger network configurations. Performance metrics reveal consistent achievement above target thresholds across all evaluated dimensions, with minimum trust levels maintaining a 7.2 percentage point margin above requirements. Our findings provide empirical validation of the architecture's effectiveness while offering practical insights into deployment considerations for edge computing security. The study contributes to the field by establishing quantitative benchmarks for security performance in edge environments and demonstrating the viability of trust-based security mechanisms for distributed

In the practice process of system modelling, due to the need of system engineering related ideas and technologies, combined with related professional and expert knowledge, the application degree in actual engineering and scientific research is low. In the process of system modelling, massive human resources are needed to participate, and in the process of system simulation, quantities of calculations, vast coupling calculations are needed between different levels of the system and different subsystems at the same level. At the same time, the system operation data of different subsystems and different levels, especially the operation mode and data of the underlying components, involve the core business secrets and user privacy of different manufacturers, and it is often difficult for digital twin entities to obtain real and effective data during operation. As an extended computing paradigm of cloud computing, Mobile Edge computing (MEC) facilitates real-time service responses by deploying resources near network edges. However, services should frequently move among multiple edge computing servers because of the mobility of most users, which accordingly leads to increased network operation costs and influences service quality. In this paper, we formulate the service migration problem as a Markov Decision Process (MDP) and introduce the dueling Deep Q-Network (DQN) to solve the problem, so as to reduce the network operating cost without lowering the service quality. We also propose a trajectory prediction approach to further optimize the service migration. simulation experimental results demonstrate that the proposed mechanism can achieve a lower network operation cost without reducing the service quality. © 2023 IEEE.

A zone controller (ZC) plays a vital role in urban rail transit, which is responsible for the safe separation of the running trains within its control area. If a ZC fails, the operation of trains will be severely disrupted. To avoid single point failures and provide safer services, we propose a clustered ZC (C-ZC) which utilizes the technologies of cloud computing and blockchain. A consensus algorithm, proof of timer hash (PoTH), is proposed to realize the decentralized C-ZC service. The performance of the PoTH and the C-ZC service are analyzed and verified through simulation. Based on the simulation results, it is can be concluded that the PoTH is superior to other consensus algorithms in terms of latency. It is proved that the C-ZC can satisfy the requirements of communication-based train control system (CBTC) system on both latency and the number of trains being served, achieve higher safety and reliability simultaneously.

In this paper, we propose BeeCast, a collaborative video streaming system that facilitates collaborative video streaming for a group of mobile users with limited Internet connectivity. The novelty of the proposed system is the ability to watch the video on a shared screen or to watch the video on multiple screens. The latter option entails proposing a method to exchange the downloaded video segments among the users using device-to-device communication. The proposed system is composed of two components: BeeBuzzer, and BeePlanner. The BeeBuzzer component manages and coordinates the segment exchange among devices, while BeePlanner component enhances the overall Quality of Experience (QoE) through effective segment assignments decisions for each user. simulation results show that using BeeCast in an unstable network produces a more consistent QoE than individual streaming while eliminating 80% of redundant network traffic.

Low-rate-Denial-of-Service (LDoS) attack poses a significant threat to network service quality and even has the potential to cause network paralysis. Therefore, it is urgent to conduct research on LDoS. However, the deployment of extension modules for online attack detection in traditional networks is a formidable undertaking due to the limited flexibility and scalability inherent in conventional network equipment. Software-Defined Networking (SDN) offers a viable solution to this challenge. SDN represents an innovative network architecture that delivers both flexibility and programmability by segregating the network Control Plane from the Data forwarding Plane, thereby enabling real-time detection of LDoS attack. In this paper, we implemented a real-time LDoS attack detection system on SDN, with Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) serving as the primary method for identifying LDoS attack. Furthermore, we employed RYU as the SDN controller, utilized the Mininet simulation software to create network topologies, and employed attack code to simulate a real LDoS attack environment. The XGBoost classifier is applied to detect LDoS attack in the real-time network traffic collected by the OpenFlow protocol, and its performance is compared with that of several other classifiers. Experimental results conclusively demonstrated that XGBoost exhibited the most optimal detection performance, achieving accuracy and F1 scores of 97.43% and 98.37%,respectively. © 2023 IEEE.
