Because the contrast of the image for guiding the highspeed infrared air-to-air missile is low, its signal to noise ratio is poor and the target and its background gray-scale coupling is strong, the paper analyzes the reasons why the threshold value segmentation method and the fuzzy C-means clustering method have the over-segmentation and under-segmentation in segmenting the above type of image. Hence we propose the kernel fuzzy clustering segmentation algorithm based on histogram and spatial constraint, which utilizes the global first-moment histogram of the infrared image to restrict the number of clusters and the clustering center, improves the spatial correlation function that fully manifests the correlations among pixels inside a neighbor domain and reconstructs the membership degree matrix and the clustering central function, thus segmenting the infrared image with the kernel fuzzy clustering algorithm. The results on the experiments on a sequential infrared image show preliminarily that, compared with the traditional threshold value segmentation algorithm, the fuzzy C-means segmentation algorithm and the kernel fuzzy clustering algorithm, the improved algorithm proposed in the paper can reduce entropy segmentation by about 60% on average and increase the correlation degrees among clusters by around 10%, thus enhancing to a certain extent the efficiency and precision for segmenting the fuzzy image whose target gray-scale and background gray-scale are strongly coupled.

To acquire a better understanding of how individuals adapt to knee osteoarthritis (KOA) and assess the effect of TKA, 3D gait analysis was conducted 17 pre-TKA KOA patients, 10 post-TKA KOA patients and 12 age-matched control subjects. Principle component analysis was used to extract waveform characteristics. Improved function was observed after TKA, but the overall lower limb capacity of post-TKA patients at 4 month post-surgery was still far below that of the control subjects. Post-TKA patients were characterized by reduced knee flexion, delayed joint motion and more gentle moments and ground reaction curves compared to controls.

Aiming at studying the influences of epilepsy on brain's nonlinear characteristics, we analyzed the difference between the normal EEG (electroencephalogram) and epileptic EEG from the perspective of nonlinear dynamics. Two sets of data used in this paper, including 16 cases of normal EEG and the same quantity of epileptic EEG, were from General Hospital of Nanjing Military Region. Firstly, on the basis of the Recurrence Plot (RP), the Order Recurrence Plot (ORP) was adopted to analyze two different kinds of EEG qualitatively. Then Average Diagonal Length, a parameter coming from Recurrence Quantification Analysis (RQA), was calculated to analyze the difference between normal EEG and epileptic EEG in nonlinear character, quantitatively. Compared with the healthy control subjects, the epileptic EEG is more regular and more certain, meanwhile, it's Average Diagonal Length is longer. Epilepsy makes patients' EEG become weaker in nonlinear chaotic characteristics but stronger in regularity and certainty.

This paper presents a novel wheel massage robot which can achieve hammer, rolling, kneading and other massage operations, and a complete coverage algorithm of massage path planning - improved reciprocating path planning algorithm. Based on the massage robot and traditional Chinese massage, the requirements of path planning of wheel massage robot and the features of traditional reciprocating path planning algorithm were analyzed, and control system model of wheel massage robot was established. By using Matlab/Simulink to simulate the traditional reciprocating path planning algorithm and improved reciprocating path planning algorithm, we obtained the movement path of wheel massage robot under three kinds of massage operation. The results show that the improved reciprocating path planning algorithm could ensure that the massage robot traverses the whole back area, and it apparently improves the coverage rate of massage path and massage effect.

This paper presents a method of urine detection based on front vision and image recognition. Urine detection apparatus is composed of a conveyor belt, a urine detection card, an automatic detection needle and an automatic detection camera, a mobile device and so on. In order to realize the rapid and accurate identification of the circular hole in urine, the model of the front vision of the urine detection instrument was modeled. Firstly, the forward monocular vision imaging model is presented, including the design of software and hardware, and the coordinates of the target center in the image are obtained by combining the characteristic of the target. Then, through the visual calibration model, the target location of monocular vision is achieved, and the coordinates of the center of the circular hole in the camera coordinate system are obtained. The center coordinates of each circle center coordinate of the urine detecting card are consistent with the coordinate of the automatic dripping needle, and the automatic dripping needle can drop down the test liquid to the center of the circular hole of the urine detection card. The experimental results show that this method can detect the urine of different patients in large scale. This method has high sensitivity, shorter detection time, more rapid and efficient, simple and convenient operation. This method has accurate and reliable detection results.

In this paper, we presented a hybrid method to distinguish normal brain tissue from lesion regions based on the T1-weighted and T2-weighted MR images of the same anatomic structure. Regions of interest were extracted using an iterative Otsu's thresholding method with normal brain tissue extracted from T1-weighted MR images, and lesion regions extracted from T2-weighted MR images. Markov random field and maximum-a-posteriori approaches were used to classify areas dually identified as normal brain tissue in T1-weighted images and lesion regions in T2-weighted images. The approach was validated using synthetic and real MR images to demonstrate its ability to clearly distinguish normal brain tissue from lesion regions.

In order to increase the levels of wind power accommodation, a pattern that high energy-loaded enterprises participate in the wind power accommodation is proposed. Firstly, this paper analyzes the electrical characteristics of the silicon carbide smelting furnace, and establishes the physical model of the furnace. Then, the finite-difference numerical analyses are used to analyze the variation of internal temperature field changing with power, and then the temperature gradient model is established. Finally, through the analysis on the temperature gradient model, we can obtain the relationship between the yield and the energy consumption in the silicon carbide smelting process. And it is the foundation of future research on the wind power accommodation potential model. The simulation results indicate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this paper, we propose a novel smartphone-based indoor localization algorithm by deeply combining wireless signals and images, which leads to improving the localization performance. Although the measured signals are polluted by the noise, we demonstrate that the combination of the image and wireless data dramatically improves the indoor positioning accuracy. Different with common wireless-based indoor positioning methods, the wireless signals that received in a certain time are transformed into frequency domain, and an image named W-image is created by using our proposed approach. Then, SIFT features that are extracted from the W-image is deeply combined with the LBP features that are extracted from the smartphone camera-based images. Moreover, the hybrid features from the smartphone camera images and images of reference database are matched which are used to determine correspondences indoor positioning points. In order to reduce the computation complexity of our proposed method, the wireless signals are illustrated to estimate the coarse positioning points for reducing the search space of image matching. By leveraging wireless signals and images, we are able to achieve almost a 0.86 in mean average precision and 57.65ms in mean average running time. The proposed algorithm can be applied to the smartphones that are integrated cameras to offer high-accuracy location-based services.

The physiological analysis of electroencephalogram (EEG) signals is of great significance in assessing the activity of the brain function and the physiological state. EEG is a means of clinical examination of brain diseases. Age is one of the important factors that affect the results of the EEG. EEG signal analysis is mainly to analyze the time series of the signal, multiscale entropy (MSE) analysis [1-3] is the method that used to analyze the finite length of the time series. Multiscale sign series entropy (MSSE) method is proposed for the analysis of EEG signals in the young and middle-aged. We use the proposed method to analyze the signals from several aspects of data length, word length, noise, multi scale etc. By analyzing the influence of these factors, we can still distinguish the EEG signals of different ages. Multiscale sign series entropy (MSSE) analysis algorithm can effectively separate the brain electrical signals from the young and middle aged, which is expected to have a certain reference value for the traditional pathological analysis of the EEG signals.

Distributed storage systems (DSSs) can provide reliable access to data over individually unreliable nodes for a long period of time. Regenerating codes (RCs) are efficient at both storage and repair bandwidth, and thus are regarded as a promising option for DSSs. In this paper, the generalized RCs (GRCs) are considered, which possess the relaxed conditions on reconstruction sets and regeneration sets. Compared to traditional RCs, GRCs can provide more coding schemes and better system security degrees (SDs). The SD is inversely proportional to the probability of revealing original data file in the presence of an eavesdropper. Two different coding schemes of GRCs are provided to achieve different SDs. Compared to traditional RCs, coding schemes with different SDs are more valuable for DSSs that require different security levels. Besides, the coding schemes of GRCs can provide better SDs, and thus are more suitable for practical applications.
