Nutch,Solr and Hadoop,three of them are open source applications,which Nutch is a superb web crawler,Hadoop is a cloud platform and Solr can use crawled data and offer word class *** only provides one mechanism which segments Chinese sentences into some single characters so that Chinese word cannot be analyzed and *** paper proposes a method of Chinese word segmentation in Solr and builds a high performance distributed search engines by integrating Nutch into Hadoop,and finally use Solr to build tourist information search platform.

This paper presents an approach to the synthesis of secure real-time applications mapped on distributed embedded systems, which focuses on preventing fault injection attacks. We utilize symmetric cryptographic service to protect confidentiality, and deploy fault detection within confidential algorithm to resist fault injection attacks. Several fault detection schemes are identified, and their fault coverage rates and time overheads are derived and measured, respectively. Our synthesis approach makes efforts to determine the best fault detection schemes for the encryption/decryption of messages, such that the overall security strength of resisting fault injection attack is minimized, and the deadline constraint of the real-time applications is guaranteed. Since addressing the problem is still a NP-hard problem, we propose an efficient algorithm based on Fruit fly Optimization Algorithm (FOA), which can achieve better results by lower time overheads, compared with simulated annealing algorithm. Extensive experiments demonstrate the superiority of our approach.

Graphics processing units (GPUs) have delivered promising speedups in data-parallel applications. A discrete GPU resides on the PCIe interface and has traditionally required data to be moved from the host memory to the GPU memory via PCIe. In certain applications, the overhead of these data transfers between memory spaces can nullify any performance gains achieved from faster computation on the GPU. Recent advances allow GPUs to directly access data from the host memory across the PCIe bus, thereby alleviating the data-transfer bottlenecks. Another class of accelerators called accelerated processing units (APUs) mitigate data-transfer overhead by placing CPU and GPU cores on the same physical die. However, APUs in the current form provide several different data paths between the CPU and GPU, all of which can differently affect application performance. In this paper, we explore the effects of different available data paths on both GPUs and APUs in the context of a broader set of computation and communication patterns commonly referred to as dwarfs.

Graph has been widely adopted in Social Network Service (SNS) applications because it is very easy to represent user relationship information. In order to achieve high performance, prevalent algorithms tend to keep the graph data in memory to speed up the data access. However, failing to balance the costs of random access patterns and physical memory consumption hurts the effectiveness. In this paper, we propose a novel graph data processing framework to solve these issues. It develops a novel graph organization model to minimize the costs of graph data accesses and reduce the memory consumption. We compare our system with other graph processing systems on several widely used applications using large-scale real world SNS data, and results show that it outperforms the current mechanisms.

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are being deployed for structural health monitoring (SHM) applications at an increasing rate. A WSN is often organized into groups or clusters for distributed monitoring purposes. However, we discover that the dependability (in terms of the monitoring ability/quality and low false alarm rate) is greatly affected by such grouping schemes, as they do not satisfy application-specific monitoring aspects. We present an SHM application oriented network architecture (SHMnet) and analyze health event monitoring performance with it. We propose a substructure-oriented sensor organization (SOSO), considering the formation of engineering structures and finding that a large physical structure consists of a number of substructures. We enable deployed sensors to be organized into groups (unlike dynamic clusters/trees) in such a way that each group of sensors can monitor a substructure independently. We evaluate SHMnet via simulations using real data traces. The evaluation results, compared to existing work, show that SHMnet achieves at least five times the energy saving (including the energy for communication) in WSNs and dependability in terms of high ability of monitoring and low false alarm rate.

Maintaining security and privacy in the Cloud is a complex task. The task is made even more challenging as the number of vulnerabilities associated with the cloud infrastructure and applications are increasing very rapidly. Understanding the security service level agreements (SSLAs) and privacy policies offered by service and infrastructure providers is critical for consumers to assess the risks of the Cloud before they consider migrating their IT operations to the Cloud. To address these concerns relative to the assessment of security and privacy risks of the Cloud, we have developed ontologies for representing security SLAs (SSLA) in this paper. Our ontologies for SSLAs can be used to understand the security agreements of a provider, to negotiate desired security levels, and to audit the compliance of a provider with respect to federal regulations (such as HIPAA).

Nowadays, the demand for travel personality and intelligence is growing with each passing day. In this paper, the authors have designed a cloud-services-oriented personal travel application called "Cloud Travel" which used in mobile phones. The "Cloud Travel" is a highly personalized travel arrangement and auxiliary tool with distributed computing technology, it recommends travel services published by trusted provider to customers. For a particular user, our application uses personal information gained from the transaction process or other ways to establish the model for users. Our application also models travel services, then by comparing user model and travel service model, the "Cloud Travel" can recommends appropriate travel services to users. In our application, a user has three different roles called customer (user can buy some travel services), supplier (user can publish some travel services) and operator (users can combine some of the travel services to formation a new travel package).

Apache Spark is an open source distributed data processing platform that uses distributed memory abstraction to process large volume of data efficiently. However, performance of a particular job on Apache Spark platform can vary significantly depending on the input data type and size, design and implementation of the algorithm, and computing capability, making it extremely difficult to predict the performance metric of a job such as execution time, memory footprint, and I/O cost. To address this challenge, in this paper, we present a simulation driven prediction model that can predict job performance with high accuracy for Apache Spark platform. Specifically, as Apache spark jobs are often consist of multiple sequential stages, the presented prediction model simulates the execution of the actual job by using only a fraction of the input data, and collect execution traces (e.g., I/O overhead, memory consumption, execution time) to predict job performance for each execution stage individually. We evaluated our prediction framework using four real-life applications on a 13 node cluster, and experimental results show that the model can achieve high prediction accuracy.

A Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is typically deployed on a place in which no electric source is provided, meaning that its battery consumption is crucial. applications for WSNs require implementations of complex operations like network administration. To simplify the development of these applications, several mobile agent middleware solutions have been proposed (eg., Agilla). applications for these middleware solutions are executed by communications among agents;therefore, a common operation is to look up agents. Because existing proposals do not have much technical support for efficient approach to look up agents, every lookup consumes a significant amount of battery energy and time. In addition, current approaches can fail their lookup operations if the target agent moves during a lookup operation. This paper proposes CMSN, an efficient and effective lookup for mobile agent middleware. CMSN is inspired by CSN, a distributed hash table algorithm for WSNs. We evaluate and compare CMSN in terms of performance, effective lookups, and battery consumption.

Performance monitoring tools have received significant attention recently. On the one side, it is necessary to support managing increasingly complex hardware and software infrastructures; on the other side, it can provide user system load and application running information in real time so as to guide user's resource request scheme and program optimization. The hot research issues are associated with some important software properties, such as scalability, elasticity, adaptability and timeliness. Based on the ADS principle, to meet large-scale and continuous monitoring of applications online, this paper proposes a Web-based scalable performance monitoring system framework with a flexible configurable network to address the massive amounts performance data obtained in timeliness. An online transport network is constructed in charge of collecting and processing performance data during execution from different node. It can make the global information available at runtime. Several initialized strategies of Tree-based overlay network are discussed in different cases. A tool has been developed and experimented, and it has been to be effective by many statistics.
