In this study, we introduce a new method for localization and tracking in non-line-of-sight (NLOS) scenarios using a single Base Station (BS). By analyzing MIMO scatter channels, we create a geometric model that considers Angle of Arrival (AOA), Angle of Departure (AOD), and Time of Arrival (TOA) to determine positions. To enhance accuracy, we formulate an optimization problem accounting for time and directional biases in these relationships. For continuous tracking of mobile UEs, we propose an innovative ODE-LSTM algorithm that combines an Ordinary Differential Equation (ODE) solver with a Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) network. This integration enables seamless tracking over various time intervals. Simulation results demonstrate the superiority of our approach in nonlinear tracking compared to traditional methods like Kalman filter(KF). © 2023 IEEE.

business processes often incorporate stochastic decision points, either due to uncontrollable actions or because the control flow is not fully specified. Formal modeling of such business processes with resource constraints and multiple instances is hard because of the interplay among stochastic behavior, concurrency, real-time and resource contention. In this setting, statistical techniques are easier to use and more scalable than numerical methods to verify temporal properties. However, existing approaches towards simulation techniques of business processes typically rest on shaky theoretical foundations. In this paper, we propose a modular approach towards modeling stochastic resource-constrained business processes. We analyze such processes in presence of commonly used resource-allocation strategies. Our model, distributed Probabilistic Systems (DPS), incorporates a set of probabilistic agents communicating among each other in fixed-duration real-time. Our methodology admits statistical analysis of business processes with provable error bounds. We also illustrate a number of real-life scenarios that can be modeled and verified using this approach.

Blockchain technology is a combination of distributed data storage, peer-to-peer network, consensus mechanism, timestamp technology, encryption algorithm and other computer technologies. It provides a new solution for the secure distributed cloud data storage system. Blockchain can provide a decentralized secure storage architecture that does not require the accumulation of trust, and it can provides new solutions for cloud storage security and can be applied in time-sensitive areas. This paper summarizes the existing blockchain-based systems and applications, and we mainly review the applications of blockchain traceability technology in various fields, the blockchain decentralized applications, and other blockchain applications in data security protection, respectively. This work may bring new opportunities and challenges for the development of various industries in the future. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Providing efficient workload management is an important issue for a large-scale heterogeneous distributed computing environment where a set of periodic applications is executed. The considered distributed system is expected to operate in an environment where the input workload is likely to change unpredictably, possibly invalidating a resource allocation that was based on the initial workload estimate. The tasks consist of multiple application strings, each made up of an ordered sequence of applications. There are quality of service (QoS) constraints that must be satisfied for each string. This work addresses the problem of finding a robust initial allocation of resources to application strings that is able to absorb some level of unknown input workload increase without rescheduling. An allocation feasibility analysis is presented followed by four heuristics for finding a near-optimal allocation of resources. The performance of the proposed heuristics is evaluated and compared using simulation. The proposed heuristics also are compared to a mathematically derived upper bound. © 2005 IEEE.

The Software Communications Architecture (SCA), which has been adopted as an SDR (Software Defined Radio) Forum standard, provides a framework that successfully exploits common design patterns of distributed, real-time, and object-oriented embedded systems software. We have fully implemented the SCA v2.2 in C++. During this implementation process, we have encountered the lack of a suitable design pattern for releasing the SCA applications. Unfortunately, design patterns for releasing objects have been neither extensively addressed nor well investigated as opposed to creational design patterns. This is largely due to the fact that such releasing design patterns are highly dependent on programming languages. In this paper, we investigate three viable design patterns for releasing the SCA applications in C++ and discuss their pros and cons. In addition, we select the most portable and thus most reusable pattern, which we name Vulture design pattern, among those alternatives and detail our specific implementation. © 2006 IEEE.

Botnets have been one of the most threatening risks against cybersecurity since 2003. Their aggressiveness and destructiveness affect the proper functioning of network directly. It is quick-witted for them to make use of changing communication mode and recruiting new members to evade detection and even reduce losses once detected. However, there still exist some hints to find and locate zombies even though their stealthiness and variability. To this end, one of the main concerns in designing a botnet detection system is how and which discriminating features to get. Hence, the feature extration becomes a key issue for the purpose of developing a powerful botnet detection system. In this work, we utilize three machine learning algorithms to explore which feature extration method is better between Netmate and Tranalyzer only using packet header information in case of privacy problems. From this perspectives, We conduct a series of experiments on two public botnet data sets and then perform some analyses of the laboratory results. © 2016 IEEE.

This paper proposes a novel approach in tackling the resource brokering problem in heterogeneous distributed computing systems. To obtain the best utilization of the systems, researchers are often focusing on improving scheduling algorithms and strategies with the knowledge of tasks and resources at the scheduling time. Unlike these approaches, we apply an intelligence decision making mechanism to achieve the optimization of the systems. It is designed to provide multiple desired Quality of Services on resources assembled dynamically from various service providers.

This article used SPSS software to analyze the excellent rate of the Erya spring courses of Qingdao University of science and Technology. First, the independent sample's T test was used to detect and analyze the correlation of the excellent rate, and then the single factor variance method was used to analyze the impact of objective factors such as course pass rate, average grade, and class hour on the excellent rate of the courses. The results showed that the passing rate and class hour have a significant impact on the excellent rate.
