With the rapid development of urbanization, community security and public security have become an important social issue. As conventional patrol methods can not effectively ensure effective supervision, this paper studies the application of NFC (Near Field Communication) technology in intelligent security system, designs and constructs a set of intelligent security system suitable for public security patrol or security patrol combined with current cloud service technology. The system can not only solve the digital problem of patrol supervision in the current public security, but also greatly improve the efficiency of security and improve the service quality of the industry through the application of intelligent technology.

The rise of cloud-based disaster recovery systems has reshaped disaster recovery practices. Integrated into the Hadoop framework with core components like Hadoop distributed File System (HDFS), MapReduce, and Yet Another Resource Negotiator (YARN), these systems ensure data integrity and business continuity during crises while enhancing data reliability and operational efficiency, surpassing traditional recovery systems. This study presents a comprehensive comparative analysis of traditional and Hadoop-integrated cloud recovery systems, focusing on hardware architecture and performance. Architecturally, it highlights the stark differences between conventional models and Hadoop-based innovations. The results show that the Hadoop-backed recovery system exhibits remarkable improvement, reducing Recovery Time Objective (RTO) from over 18 seconds to under 7 seconds while preserving data integrity as per Recovery Point Objective (RPO) standards. This finding underscores the academic importance of evaluating cloud-based disaster recovery within the Hadoop context, offering insights into its transformative potential for disaster recovery strategies.

In order to correctly understand the influencing factors of carbon emissions in central China and the important role of government governance capacity in achieving the goal of “carbon neutrality”. In theory, unit carbon emission is explained by Marxist axiology. In the empirical analysis, this paper selects the data from 2004 to 2017 in the central region as samples to verify the theoretical part, and finally puts forward relevant policy suggestions based on the above conclusions, so as to realize the sustainable economic growth in the central region.

The development of Low-Power Wide-Area Networks (LPWAN) has significantly boosted the uptake of Internet of Things technologies, fostering their adoption in such domains as Smart Cities and Industry 4.0. In the context of LPWANs, LoRa is one of the most promising developments, experiencing massive growth in recent years. This situation has led to the steadily growing trend of redundant deployments across locations, or scenarios, where it would be more natural to be able to leverage (e.g., rent) LoRa infrastructure belonging to a third party. Key to reversing this unsustainable trend is roaming approaches. Although the LoRa specifications define mechanisms for roaming, gaps and challenges make roaming difficult to deploy and operate in real-world scenarios. This paper analyzes these concerns and proposes a novel architecture compliant with the LoRa specification to design and accommodate roaming services in a consistent, efficient, and scalable way. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper focuses on the KTSP (K-person Traveling Salesman Problem) programming problem of workload balance. By adding a virtual central node, the KTSP problem is described as a TSP(Travelling Salesman Problem) problem with workload balance constraints. Then, 3-opt(3-optimization) is used for local optimization and genetic method is used to search the global optimal solution. Finally, the qualified solution is limited by workload balance constraints, and the workload balance algorithm is used to correct the results. The planning method in this paper is effective for the medium-sized workload balancing KTSP problem, and can obtain the ideal solution.

Large Language Models (LLMs) are transforming industries by automating tasks such as text generation, data analysis, and customer interactions. Their impact spans various sectors, including finance, healthcare, legal services, and education’ where they streamline operations and enhance decision-making. Despite these advantages, the adoption of LLMs is hindered by challenges such as high computational costs, data privacy concerns, and the lack of explainability. Existing surveys on LLMs primarily focus on their capabilities and applications, emphasizing their role in generating human-like text, processing unstructured data, and supporting decision-making. However, these studies also highlight the significant limitations of LLMs, particularly around computational expense, privacy, and the “black box” nature of their outputs, which restrict their use in critical, regulated industries. This paper builds on prior work by exploring emerging solutions to address these challenges. It examines innovations such as domain-specific LLMs, LLM-as-a-Service (LLMaaS), and advancements in explainable AI (XAI) to enhance transparency and accessibility. The paper provides practical insights into how businesses can strategically adopt LLMs while mitigating risks, making them more viable for broader industry application.

On-device AI is taking over our daily lives by moving closer to mobile devices as perception applications. A data stream perception application generally has three essential requirements: timeliness, smoothness, and orderliness. Most researchers’ efforts to date have proposed various offloading approaches to accelerate compute-intensive AI algorithms in perception applications, thereby fulfilling the requirement of timeliness. However, the lack of concern about the smoothness and orderliness of the data stream will result in fluctuation and commotion anomalies that greatly impair the user experience. In this paper, we propose an enhanced Offloading System with sMoothness and Orderliness (OSMO) to guarantee perception applications’ smooth refresh rates while processing data streams in proper orders with low overhead. OSMO takes advantage of heterogeneous computing devices and data-level parallelism in the offloading process. A scheduling strategy is further devised that dynamically tunes a set of parameters to achieve the best trade-offs among the three requirements of perception applications. We implement a prototype system based on TensorFlow and its typical Android demos. Real-world evaluations demonstrate that our solution can effectively address the fluctuation and commotion issues while providing a high data processing rate with multi-device collaboration.

Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) are used extensively for artificial intelligence applications due to their record-breaking accuracy. For efficient and swift hardware-based acceleration, CNNs are typically quantized to have integer input/weight parameters. The acceleration of a CNN inference task uses convolution operations that are typically transformed into vector-dot-product (VDP) operations. Several photonic microring resonators (MRRs) based hardware architectures have been proposed to accelerate integer-quantized CNNs with remarkably higher throughput and energy efficiency compared to their electronic counterparts. However, the existing photonic MRR-based analog accelerators exhibit a very strong trade-off between the achievable input/weight precision and VDP operation size, which severely restricts their achievable VDP operation size for the quantized input/weight precision of 4 bits and higher. The restricted VDP operation size ultimately suppresses computing throughput to severely diminish the achievable performance benefits. To address this shortcoming, we for the first time present a merger of stochastic computing and MRR-based CNN accelerators. To leverage the innate precision flexibility of stochastic computing, we invent an MRR-based optical stochastic multiplier (OSM). We employ multiple OSMs in a cascaded manner using dense wavelength division multiplexing, to forge a novel Stochastic computing based Optical Neural Network Accelerator (SCONNA). SCONNA achieves significantly high throughput and energy efficiency for accelerating inferences of high-precision quantized CNNs. Our evaluation for the inference of four modern CNNs at 8-bit input/weight precision indicates that SCONNA provides improvements of up to 66.5×, 90× and 91× in frames-per-second (FPS), FPS/W and FPS/W/mm 2 respectively, on average over two photonic MRR-based analog CNN accelerators from prior work, with Top-1 accuracy drop of only up to 0.4% for large CNNs and up to 1.5% for sma

This paper introduces a classroom assistant application based on mini program which provides classroom teaching interaction, attendance checking, mobile phone management and other functions. Through this application, teachers can interact with students in class and ask them questions to know how well they have mastered the knowledge; they can initiate attendance check to understand students' attendance in an efficient and time-saving way; they can release assignments and notifications to students in the form of push messages; the application has developed a software activity management function. This function can monitor whether students play with their cell phones in class and thus can avoid student distractions improving the quality of teaching.
