Software-Defined Networking (SDN) faces significant challenges in mitigating Attacks known as denial of service (DoS) and distributed DDoS due to its centralized control plane architecture. This centralization makes the control plane an attractive target for attackers, highlighting the need for effective detection and mitigation strategies. In this study, we propose three innovative methodologies to enhance the accuracy of detecting DoS/DDoS attacks in SDN environments. Our first methodology employs an ensemble model with a voting classifier, which achieves a detection accuracy of 97.4%. This approach leverages multiple weak learners to enhance the robustness of detection. The second methodology utilizes an ensemble with a stacking technique, attaining a superior accuracy of 99%, demonstrating the efficacy of integrating multiple base models in a hierarchical fashion. The third approach introduces a novel hybrid model that blends LSTM networks with CNN, achieving a competitive accuracy of 98.51%. A comparative analysis of these methods reveals that, while all three significantly enhance detection rates, the stacking ensemble technique outperforms the others. This finding underscores the potential of advanced ensemble techniques in effectively addressing the dynamic and evolving cyber threats within SDN environments. Our study offers valuable insights into strengthening SDN infrastructures against DoS/DDoS attacks, contributing to the ongoing efforts to secure modern network architectures.

The database used by blockchain innovation is run by numerous components and creates a network pattern using hash indexes. The blockchain employs numerous nodes and transmits numerous data access points, decreasing reliance on the primary Internet server and preventing the danger of data destruction and server breakdown. The data files saved in the blockchain are protected using encryption techniques to maintain their authenticity and prevent illegally added or discarded data files. With technological characteristics like non-tampering, distributed ledger, and reliability, blockchain innovations and machine learning have innate benefits in supply chain finance. They also have great prospects to construct faith in order to overcome the major issues in supply chain finance, which is helpful for fostering economic advancement in the Tonkin Gulf region. This paper focuses on introducing the study on using blockchain innovation in supply chain finance in the Tonkin Gulf region and aims to offer suggestions on how supply chain finance could evolve there using blockchain innovation. This paper suggests supply chain finance game applications for pertinent investigations as well as blockchain innovation, supply chain banking threats assessment on the blockchain and machine learning, and supply chain finance implementation study methodologies in the Tonkin Gulf region. The empirical findings presented in this paper demonstrate that the built blockchain supply chain finance platform has an algorithm with an overall processing time of 4.10 seconds, a computational efficiency that is quicker, and the ability to more accurately analyse the pertinent concerns.

The placement of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS) is a significant obstacle to the widespread adoption of Electric Vehicles (EVs). However, integrating EVCS with distributed Renewable Energy (RE) sources may help mitigate the variability of RE production. This article focuses on studying a Microgrid (MG) that consists of power distribution sources such as Wind Turbines (WT) and photovoltaic (PV), as well as EVCSs and Energy Storage Structures (ESS). The analysis considers the ambiguities associated with the charging needs of electric vehicles and the production of distributed Renewable Energy Sources (RES). A comprehensive optimization model is provided for computing the best Charging Stations (CS) locations equipped with distributed electricity. This model combines the electrical network and the grid to ensure efficiency and reliability. The usage variation ratio is employed to assess the level of compatibility among the uncertain production curve of RE and the charging request curves to ascertain the suitable size of the WT and photovoltaic-producing method and energy storage system. The kernel prediction function is utilized to address the problem of excessive caution in adaptable optimizing methods. A simulation is conducted on an IEEE 33-nodal energy distributing system and a 50-nodal transit network. The findings from simulations provide evidence of the model's resilience and cost-effectiveness.

business process management is the end-to-end business process modeling, analysis, and optimization to achieve business goals. business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) is usually used to represent business process models. However, BPMN cannot support the intuitive modeling for some typical tasks in complex business scenarios of the Industrial Internet context, increasing the communication cost between modelers and business personnel. The current solutions try to extend the attributes of BPMN elements with annotations, but a large number of annotations makes business process models complex and cumbersome. This paper proposes to extend new business process modeling elements for Industrial Internet application scenarios based on BPMN extension mechanism, generating an extended business process modeling language, namely BPMN++. And an extended process modeling tool is implemented, which is available online. A case study over a real-world Industrial Internet process validates the usefulness of this extension mechanism and the well understandability of business process models.

Driverless technology has become a hot spot of current research, in order to improve the speed of unmanned vehicle path planning. Firstly, the artificial potential field (APF) model is added to the objective function of model predictive control (MPC) as a path planning term to make path planning and trajectory tracking simultaneously, so as to optimize the model controller. Secondly, by introducing the adjustment factor of objective function to solve the problem that MPC objective function may have no optimal solution, and then linearize the objective function to accelerate the speed of solving the objective function. Finally, Matlab / Simulink and CarSim are used for joint simulation experiments to compare the path planning and tracking effects before and after the improvement and optimization of the controller. The experimental results show that the improved model predictive controller has faster solution speed.

With the rapid development of deep learning, face recognition technology based on deep learning has been widely developed in recent years. However, during the training of the deep learning model, there is a risk of privacy leakage. If an attacker obtains private data, such as tags of the training data, the face images may be restored, and private information is leaked. To pro-tect the private information of the face recognition model, we introduce differential privacy technology to propose a privacy - preserving face recognition scheme using the Siamese Network framework called DP-Face. Unlike other privacy-preserving face recognition methods, we can adjust the balance between privacy and utility through privacy budgets according to actual needs. Experimental results show that the effectiveness and privacy of the proposed DP-Face can be well guaranteed.

Accompanying the popularity of the microservices architectural style, frameworks have been released which claim to specifically support the development of microservices-based applications. We investigate how well such frameworks support microservices characteristics both theoretically by a documentation analysis and practically by exemplary implementations. Our findings are that the frameworks cover most of the characteristics, but differ significantly in the way how. Therefore such frameworks can facilitate the development of microservices-based applications, but combining different frameworks can be a challenge. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Protein-protein interactions can regulate many biological processes. Studying the mechanisms of protein-protein interactions is critical for understanding the biological functions and regulation mechanisms of proteins. The Barnase- Barstar complex is a well-studied target for computational analyses due to its simplicity and small size. Despite extensive studies, it is unclear whether there are differential responses to thermal stress between the Barnase-Barstar complex and the Barnase alone. In this study, molecular dynamics simulations were used to study intermolecular interactions and structural changes of the Barnase-Barstar complex under thermal stress. We performed molecular dynamics simulations under different temperatures for the complex and for Barnase itself. Our simulations suggest that under thermal stress, Barnase is more stable within the Barnase-Barstar complex than the protein itself, and the higher stability is likely attributed to the binding interactions between the two proteins. These results provide a theoretical foundation and an important guidance to understand mechanisms of biological regulation of protein complexes.

Web-based applications are now the preferred approach for delivering a variety of services via the Internet. As a result of the globalization of commerce, web applications have been growing quickly and becoming increasingly complicated. Such applications have a significant security vulnerability in the online environment since they were developed with little experience and without testing or validation. Numerous attackers use this security vulnerability to take control of the program, modify the data, and steal the most crucial information. They may also access all internal, unauthorized items. This work presents a hybrid model that classifies website attacks as benign through the integration of four machine learning algorithms: gradient boost (GB), multilayer perceptron (MLP), logistic regression (LR) and K nearest neighbor (KNN). The work deployed Tree-based Pipeline Optimization Tool (TPOT) that utilizes the Genetic algorithm (GA) to extract the optimal parameter and consequently enhance the model performance. The model underwent evaluation utilizing a data set from the Canadian Institute 2023 that contains various types of attacks. Among these algorithms, GB achieved the best accuracy scores of 95%, 94% and 95% for accuracy, recall and F1-score, respectively.

Information Retrieval (IR) technology was widely used in traceability between design documents and source codes. However, the vocabulary mismatch between the design documents and the source codes affects the performance of IR. Aiming at the above situation, a dynamic tracing method from design documents to source codes combining IR technology and SQL statement is proposed in management information system. Firstly, the similarity of the two is calculated by IR and the candidate links are generated; Then, the SQL statement required by the codes is automatically estimated according to the design documents, and the SQL statement is compared with the actual SQL statement in the codes to correct the design documents-codes similarity score; Finally, set a threshold to determine the trace links of the design documents to the source codes. The experimental results show that this method can improve the similarity score of code classes with relevant SQL statements in the design documents, so as to improve the ranking of code classes in the candidate links, extract the trace links that may be missing in IR method under the action of threshold, and finally improve the precision of trace results.
