With the diversification of power connection forms and increasing types of loads, the power quality of the power system is deteriorating. Various indicators of power quality are essential for the normal operation of the power grid, especially the increasing harmonic pollution caused by various nonlinear loads. Therefore, power quality disturbance detection and classification recognition is the key to improve power quality. This article combines the current domestic and foreign power quality related standards, summarizes the feature extraction of electric energy quality disturbance based on transform domain, meanwhile recognize and classify the extracted feature vectors.

In this paper, the Heuristic Moment Matching (HMM) is adopted and evaluated in the investigation of regional energy network planning considering the uncertainties introduced by the stochastic generation and demands. The adoption of the scenario generation solution can effectively include the uncertainties in the system planning process in the multi-energy networks, including wind turbines (WTs) and solar photovoltaic (PVs). The scenario generation approach is implemented and the effectiveness is validated through numerical experiments. Finally, the scenario generation approach is adopted through a 53 bus test network and the effectiveness is confirmed through comparison against the conventional planning solution.

The globalization has increased the demand for complex distributed systems that can be accessed at multiple locations by multiple users. However, the issues pertaining to the distributed systems need specific attention in order to minimize the performance failures and increase the Quality of Service. This study can be a useful source of information to understand the evolution of the issues associated with distributed systems, and the current state of issues, which can help the developers in managing the issues during the development and maintenance. This study reviewed various issues related to distributed systems under 12 themes. We found that Security and Privacy, quality of service, resource management, and synchronization issues are a few major subjects that are being focused on current research studies. This study has concluded that the issues relating to distributed systems and issues related to the changing requirements and technologies are evolving from time to time according to each stage of development of distributed systems such as the design phase or the maintenance phase, in addition to its changing according to the new developments in the technology.

More and more companies are turning to Hadoop to store and deal with their most valuable data, the protection and management of data begin to face increasing security risks. As a data protection technology closely related to big data platform, HDFS transparent encryption technology has certain practical value. In this paper, the HDFS transparent encryption technology is studied, the implementation principle of HDFS transparent encryption technology is introduced, the security and performance of the HDFS transparent encryption technology are analyzed, and the encryption technologies at different levels of the big data platform are compared. Research shows that HDFS transparent encryption technology has the advantages of high performance, transparent application and easy deployment, but there are still potential security problems in the application process.

In distributed object-based systems, applications manipulate objects distributed on multiple servers. In order to provide reliable and available application services, each object is replicated on multiple servers and replicas of each object have to be mutually consistent. On the other hand, since methods issued to each object are performed on multiple replicas, the total amount of electric energy consumed in a system increases. In our previous studies, the IEEQS (improved energy efficient quorum selection) algorithm is proposed to reduce the total electric energy of servers by omitting only meaningless write methods. In this paper, the IEEQS-EMM (IEEQS with excluding meaningless methods) algorithm is proposed to furthermore reduce the total electric energy of servers by omitting meaningless read and write methods. Evaluation results show the total electric energy of servers can be reduced in the IEEQS-EMM algorithm than the IEEQS algorithm. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Canonical correlation analysis (CCA) has been known as a representative joint dimension reduction of multimodal material. However, CCA fails to capture nonlinear discriminant structures hidden in original high-dimensional multi-modal material. To address this issue, we propose a novel unsupervised joint dimension reduction method called discriminant-sensitive locality canonical correlation analysis (DLCCA). The method embeds the locality-based discriminant structures into the between-modal correlation and the within-modal scatters. The low-dimensional nonlinear correlation features characterized as great discrimination can be well extracted by the method in the unsupervised cases. The experiments of face and handwritten recognition has proved the effectiveness and robustness of DLCCA.

In recent years, with the development of deep learning technology, the accuracy of image recognition has been significantly improved. Deep learning has been widely used in the recognition of single-label images. This project aims to intelligently classify domestic garbage images as application scenarios based on depth. Learn to carry out multi-label classification research on images containing multiple visual objects, and design and build a multi-label garbage image classification model to improve recognition accuracy and speed as the main research goal to conduct classification research on multi-label garbage images.

This paper presents a real-time scheduling strategy based on deep reinforcement learning (DRL) algorithm aiming to realize economic dispatch of microgrid energy storage considering operational uncertainties. Making the scheduling decision of microgrid is a non-trivial task due to the random fluctuations of new energy power generation systems and loads. In order to solve this problem, the double deep Q-learning algorithm with the dueling structure is investigated to ensure the reliability of the microgrid while considering the real-time electricity prices. The agent is tested on the actual data and the results show that the proposed algorithm can get small operation cost of the microgrid in complex situations.

This paper presented a distributed system planning (DSP) solution for identifying an optimal fuel mix in the electric power distribution networks with the minimized power line losses. The optimal fuel mix consists of both renewable energy-based distributed renewable generators, i.e. wind turbines and photovoltaic as well as the conventional fuel-based DG units. In this work, the method based on the heuristic moment matching (HMM) is firstly adopted to generate WT-PV-LD operational scenarios that combine all system uncertainties of DG generation and power demand. Such a scenario matrix is then incorporated into the robust DSP problem formulation. The proposed solution is evaluated using a 53 bus test network. Finally, the HMM-based planning approach is validated through simulation experiments and the effectiveness is confirmed.
