The cloud and mobile cloud deployment in large scale distributed systems offer excellent service that enhances both individual and organizational effectiveness. These cloud and blockchain based systems can provide resources at a very cheap cost since they are built on independent nodes except for any special centralized monitoring and controlling. As a result, the growth of mobile services and apps is unpredictable. Data-driven apps stand out among them in terms of popularities or revenue generation. However, the data-intensive applications have additional issues such as storage, big data filtering, and the critical tasks of securing confidential or sensitive data. In this study, a blockchain model using cloudlet concept is proposed. This model is then used in mobile cloud computing. The simulation of the proposed system is carried out in a mobile cloud computing simulator. According to the experimental analysis and latency result, the blockchain approach outperforms the conventional cloud models by up to 90% © 2023 IEEE.

The virtualization of AI chips ensures security in multi-user scenarios by partitioning the AI chip into multiple logically isolated instances. While each instance is independent in terms of computing resources, they share the same task scheduler, resulting in implicit competition for scheduler time slices which could in turn degrade overall performance. To address the problem, we propose vLFS, a deep reinforcement learning-based scheduling algorithm that opens up a new multidimensional optimization space for AI chip virtualization. vLFS schedules tasks from different instances by combining task load characteristics and the runtime status of the underlying AI chip, while also considering collaborative scheduling between the host and the device, thereby significantly improving AI chip utilization. We implement vLFS on a real-world system and conduct extensive comparisons against heuristic scheduling methods. © 2024 IEEE.

In environments lacking infrastructure, such as the battlefield, a diverse array of intelligent devices continues to evolve. These devices face challenges in flexibly addressing resource allocation and information transmission within their communication range, necessitating exploration of business awareness and resource identification technologies. Addressing these issues hinges on solving object identification problems related to address, identity, content, service, location, and resource. To tackle these challenges, we propose a Mult-IP object identification mechanism that serves as the foundation for information exchange, task allocation, and service provisioning among heterogeneous communication entities. Additionally, we design a multi-dimensional resource and service intelligence matching mechanism based on object identification. Building upon this framework is the intent-driven control algorithm AntEdge which dynamically senses task states using information encapsulated in Mult-IP packets and optimizes task packet transmission according to business intentions. Finally, leveraging the Mult-IP object identification mechanism enables task offloading to achieve timely completion of tasks within limited timeframes. Simulation experiments demonstrate that our proposed algorithm effectively enhances task completion ratios. © 2024 IEEE.

Emerging edge caching solutions, which deploy edge servers closer to users to provide rapid response services while alleviating redundant traffic pressure in the core network, have garnered significant attention as a research topic. However, with dynamically changing user requests and limited server caching resources, creating effective edge caching strategies is an urgent problem to solve. To address these challenges, we proposed UPR-AECS, an active edge caching strategy that leverages the user preference representation model for collaborative edge caching. Building user preference models captures dynamic content request patterns, guiding caching decisions to optimize limited storage resources for ideal caching *** this method, the proactive edge caching strategy pre-caches expected future content requests to enhance response times. The experimental results show that UPR-AECS outperforms the baseline methods in cache hit rate and reduction in user content retrieval latency. © 2024 IEEE.

Aiming to address challenges in SAR image ship detection tasks, such as the dense concentration of inshore ships, small target sizes, and large overlapping areas, this paper proposes an improved algorithm LAOBB-YOLOv8n based on YOLOv8n for detecting rotating ships in SAR images. In this model, we propose the Detect-LSCD detection head, which replaces the BatchNorm in the convolutional layers of the Detect module in YOLOv8n with GroupNorm to improve the positioning and classification capabilities of the detection head;Replace the original Spatial Pyramid Pooling-Fast (SPPF) module with the Attention-based Intrascale Feature Interaction (AIFI) module, which focuses on processing advanced image features through self-attention mechanism, thus improving the flexibility and accuracy of the model in processing complex scenes while reducing unnecessary computational consumption;Based on the original network structure, we add a small target detection layer to improve the detection ability for small targets;Use rotating bounding box instead of traditional horizontal bounding box, which can better accommodate the rotating posture of the target and reduce the overlapping areas between detection boxes, thereby improving the accuracy of inshore target detection. The comparative and ablation experiments are conducted on the RSDD-SAR dataset to verify the model's effectiveness. The experimental results show that the mAP50 of LAOBB-YOLOv8n reaches 98%, which is 1.4% higher than that of YOLOv8n. Although the number of parameters of LAOBB-YOLOv8n is larger than that of YOLOv8n, it is still very small compared with other baseline models, and the accuracy of LAOBB-YOLOv8n is much higher than other models. © 2024 IEEE.

According to the shortcomings of slow positioning speed and low detection accuracy of passive positioning that uses time difference of arrival (TDOA), an innovative location model of extreme learning machine (ELM) which is improved by Salp Swarm Algorithm (SSA) in view of Logistic Mapping, Opposition-Based Learning and Cauchy Mutation (LOCSSA) is put forward. The method firstly initializes the population by Logistic mapping and improves SSA by Opposition Based Learning and Cauchy mutation. Then uses LOCSSA to look for the optimal weights and biases of ELM. Finally, LOCSSA is used to locate the target. The results show that the ELM positioning model of LOCSSA has better accuracy and stability for target positioning, which demonstrate that the method is feasible. © 2022 IEEE.

To get the best jamming effect of limited jamming resources in electronic warfare, this paper focuses on the problem of jamming resource allocation. An objective function of jamming resource allocation is built, which is based on the calculation by the probability formula of jammer pressing, and an improved Pelican Optimization Algorithm is designed. By simulating the pelican's natural behavior of approaching prey and searching the nearby area in the process of hunting, the algorithm creates the corresponding mathematical model, and obtains the global optimal allocation strategy by solving the model. The simulated results indicate that the probability of obtaining the optimal solution and optimal allocation strategy of the algorithm are better than the traditional Simulated Annealing Algorithm, whether it is the situation of 'single jammer to single radar' or 'multi-jammer to single-radar'. © 2022 IEEE.

In the context of urban road following scenarios, ensuring the precise speed prediction and control of electric vehicle while rigorously maintaining the safe driving conditions has persistently presented a formidable challenge. To address such issues, a novel data-driven approach for the energy efficient speed planning of electric vehicles in vehicle-following scenarios is proposed. Incorporating Koopman operator theory, the developed control-oriented vehicle dynamics prediction model leverages real-world vehicle-following data in various vehicle-following scenarios. Subsequently, a data-driven Koopman model predictive control (MPC) method is developed based on the established prediction model, which focuses on reducing the energy consumption through speed planning while ensuring safe following distances. The comparative simulation results ultimately demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method under various driving scenarios. © 2023 IEEE.

The primary problem solved in rotating machinery fault diagnosis is how to effectively extract fault features from the vibration signals with noise. To extract fault features accurately, this study proposes a multi-scale parallel convolutional neural network fault recognition algorithm, which can carry out feature fusion. The above method combines empirical feature extraction (e.g., fast Fourier transform) to enrich feature information, which can effectively implement deep learning. The effectiveness and reliability of the method are verified through example studies on JNU, SEU and PU rolling bearing experimental data sets. The algorithm has the higher classification capability and diagnostic accuracy compared with four common deep learning algorithms. © 2022 IEEE.

Aiming at the classification or identification problem of active blanket jamming, a jamming identification method is proposed, which combines the upper approximation set, lower approximation set, border set theory of rough set and decision tree. The method first extracts the time-domain features of the signals, and divides the training set according to the degree of noise impact of the sample to train the decision tree respectively;then, the noise detection of the jamming signals is carried out by using the rough set theory;finally, the identification of three typical jamming patterns is realized through the decision tree. The comparison of simulation experiments shows that compared with the traditional method, this method has higher recognition accuracy, good real-time performance and noise robustness. © 2022 IEEE.
