Use the imageprocessing system principle to inspect the workpiece with a high-speed vision sensor camera. It results in high accuracy of sorting performance and can replace labor in automated production processes. The learning process of vision sensors used for inspecting workpieces with industrial cameras for mechatronics and robotics engineering students is concerned. Most barriers need more teaching materials due to the relatively high cost of the training kit. That is causing students' lack of knowledge and practical skills during the professional training experience in the workplace. This study proposed designing a sorting system using a machinevision (SSMV) training kit for mechatronics and robotics engineering students. It can be a learning tool to promote the students' learning in related fields, automated manufacturing systems, and engineering education.

This paper presents and describes the development of a non-invasive system with artificial vision, which uses Distributed Computing and the Internet of Things to recognize and analyze the thorax and abdomen of honey bees, in images acquired in the entrances of the hives, for the early detection of the Varroa mite. Two techniques have been experimented with for the recognition of the bee at the entrance of the hive, the Support Vector machine (SVM) and k-Nearest Neighbors (kNN), and with the same two techniques to analyze the Varroa mite in the thorax and neck. bee abdomen. In the process of material sorting, the traditional manual sorting method is not only inefficient, but also has huge security risks. Affected by the types, shapes, quality and other factors of different materials, its sorting method also has some limitations. In order to solve the above problems, a material sorting system based on industrial robot is proposed in this paper. The hardware part of the sorting system mainly comprises an industrial camera, an industrial computer for processingimage data, a control system, a robot control cabinet, an industrial robot, a frequency converter, a driving device and an executing mechanism. The software part of the sorting system includes a main module, a motion control module, a data communication module and an intelligent sorting module. This paper takes metal workpieces as the sorting object, and compares manual sorting with sorting system sorting. The results show that the designed sorting system can complete the sorting tasks of different sizes of metal workpieces in a short time, and the sorting efficiency and error rate are far lower than those of manual sorting. The industrial robot sorting system based on machinevision designed in this paper improves the industrial production efficiency and reduces the working cost.
