Cyber Physical systems (CPS) consist of integration of cyber and physical spaces through computing, communication, and control operations. In vehicular CPS, modern vehicles with multiple Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and networking with other vehicles help autonomous driving. Vehicular CPS is vulner-able to multitude of cyber attacks, including false data injection attacks. This paper presents an Asynchronous Federated Learning (AFL) with a Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) model for identifying False Data Injection (FDI) attacks in a VCPS. The AFL model continuously monitors the network and constructs a digital twin using the data obtained from a VCPS for intrusion detection. The proposed model is evaluated using different evaluation metrics. Numerical results show that the AFL model outperforms other existing models.

Training an effective model via reinforcement learning method in a simulated environment demands considerable computational cost. To improve the efficiency of reinforcement learning, most existing efforts have been focusing on learning algorithms or sampling techniques, but little attention has been spent on better utilizing the simulators themselves. In this paper, we propose a novel method to accelerate the training process by sampling with different simulation precisions in the simulator. Specifically, a sequential training mode and a joint training mode are proposed. In the sequential training mode, a basic model is first learned by using samples from a low-precision simulation environment, and then further fine-tuned in a high-precision simulation environment. In the joint training mode, the training procedure is conducted by sampling from the low and high-precision simulation environments simultaneously. Extensive experiments in different robotic scenarios demonstrate that our method achieves almost the same performance as conventional methods, but requires much less training cost, where 35% to 63% of the training time is saved without loss of performance. © 2021 IEEE.

The paper proposes a time-fractional modified model of thermal wave propagation in ferroelectrics. To solve the initial-boundary value problem for a partial differential equation numerically, an implicit computational scheme was derived using a finite-difference approximation of the time-fractional Caputo derivative. The constructed numerical scheme was implemented in Matlab. The designed computer program was used to conduct simulations of the space-time thermal distribution in typical ferroelectrics associated with the dynamical pyroelectric measurements. This approach allows us to provide more adequate modelling of heat conductivity processes in complex physical systems due to the variation of regimes by means of changes in the fractal dynamical dimension. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper deeply understands the functional modules of the VERICUT software system and the NX software modeling technology based on the computer virtual reality technology of CNC machine tool engineering. Then this paper uses three-dimensional software to build the measured size model of machine tool engineering, and builds the virtual simulation environment of the machine tool in the numerical control virtual simulation processing software VERICUT. Then this paper obtains the parameters of the virtual material model of the joint based on the multi-objective optimization method, and builds an accurate virtual material model of the joint. In this way, an accurate dynamic model of the CNC machine tool is established. The system realizes the information exchange between the machine tool simulation controller and the model, and supports the virtual debugging function of the model. The simulation results show that the method is feasible and can effectively improve the virtual-real interaction ability, data visualization degree and state monitoring efficiency of machine tools.

A fuzzy system for setting the priority of IT project work has been developed, in which a preliminary analysis of the metrics of readiness, permission and complexity of tasks is carried out, which makes it possible to determine the priority of the project work. Based on this, the business analyst can effectively make decisions about the workload of the project team. The results of the work can be successfully applied to the effective management of the implementation of IT projects and the proactive management of project teams.

The design and optimization of a W-band ortho-mode input coupling system are reported. The goal was to achieve a reflection under −15 dB over 90–100 G Hz frequency range with minimal transmission loss. The orthomode transducer (OMT) system included a pillbox vacuum window, a 3-dB power splitter, a four-port multi-arm coupler with compact loads on the two return ports and a distributed reflector. Optimized simulations showed better than −20 dB reflection, transmission through one port of −3.1 dB and 12 GHz bandwidth. An OMT with a cavity-type reflector was manufactured and measured. The agreement between simulations and measurement was excellent with a 0.4 GHz frequency shift in the frequency band.

Emotion Recognition in Conversations (ERC) is a widely applicable task, whether in emotional chatbots or recommender systems for dialog scenarios. The ability of systems to accurately identify human emotions is a crucial component in ERC success. In everyday conversations, a speaker’s emotional expression is closely tied to their individual characteristics and personality traits. Furthermore, individuals exhibit significant variations in their expressions of the same emotion. Traditional methods for ERC often overlook these personality differences and dynamic changes, leading to unreliable results. To address this issue, we propose a conversation emotion recognition model based on dynamic modeling of speaker’s personality (ERC DMSP). In our approach, to extract a speaker’s personality profile, we design a personality capture module to model the personalities of individuals based on their historical utterances. Moreover, a bidirectional influence exists between a speaker’s personality tendencies and their linguistic behavior. The speaker’s personality profile is thus continually updated based on the ongoing dialog. Additionally, since the personalities of other speakers in the conversation can also affect the form and intensity of a speaker’s emotional expression, we construct a conversation emotion representation utilizing group personality traits. We then comprehensively incorporate the speaker’s personality into the emotion representation of each utterance at both the group and individual levels through the personality engagement module. Throughout this process, the representation of dialog and the speaker’s personality undergo hierarchical updates, leading to more accurate conversation emotion recognition. We conducted extensive experiments on four commonly used public benchmark datasets for ERC to evaluate the effectiveness of our proposed ERC DMSP model. The various formulations for estimating the reliability of software are relying upon reliability growth models. Such modeling is accomplished furthermore with the consideration that all available faults are instantly detected. During our investigation, faults are labeled into two types based on easiness and difficulty in detection. The Fault detection process (FDP) for two types of faults is explicitly modeled. The applicability of the proposed SRGM is proved using a real dataset. Model parameters are calculated through (LSE) least square estimation, rather the measure of accuracy is the sum of (SSE) squared error,(RMSE) root mean squared error, R-square, and (MSE)mean squared error are evaluated by employing a valid dataset. The estimation with criteria and goodness of fit is also justified.
