High data quality is a prerequisite for accurate data analysis. However, data inconsistencies often arise in real data, leading to untrusted decision making downstream in the data analysis pipeline. In this paper, we study the problem of inconsistency detection and repair of the Ontology Multi-dimensional Data Model (OMD). We propose a framework of data quality assessment, and repair for the OMD. We formally define a weight-based repair-by-deletion semantics, and present an automatic weight generation mechanism that considers multiple input criteria. Our methods are rooted in multi-criteria decision making that consider the correlation, contrast, and conflict that may exist among multiple criteria, and is often needed in the data cleaning domain. Agile software development deviates from the traditional and plan-based approaches to softwareengineering as its iterative cycles embrace changes in software requirements. Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) are techniques that have been recently adopted by the software industry and have evolved from agile practices. These techniques aim at improving both the quality of the delivered software and the developers' productivity. They are several studies that have been conducted on TDD in both academic and industry settings with however only a few on BDD. While TDD and BDD have both become popular, many organizations and developers still do not understand the differences between these concepts or where they overlap. The aim of this paper is to assess the effectiveness of these two approaches in terms of external code quality, internal code quality and developers' productivity. To understand the weaknesses and strengths of each of these methods, a literature review was first performed. An experiment was then carried out in an industry setting to observe the effectiveness of TDD and BDD on a number of subjects. Our results showed that both techniques indeed increased the external quality of the delivered product. However, a decrease in productivity and internal quality were noted when BDD was used compared to TDD which might be due to the additional steps involved in BDD.

The server sends data packets to the client(s) according to the trust assessment. The motivation of this paper is designing a proper approach for the trust assessment process. The recurrent neural network(RNN) deep learning algorithm, which mainly learns and predicts sequence data and time series data, is mainly used in language modeling, stock price prediction, and chat bot. In this paper, we propose a method of predicting and recommending a movie by considering movie consumption patterns of users. We measure the similarity between users based on movie rating data, classify users with similar movie preferences, and learn the consumption pattern of each similar user group to improve the prediction accuracy by considering the change of preference over time. In order to show the effectiveness of the proposed method, we apply the collaborative filtering algorithm, the simple RNN and our modified RNN and compare their prediction accuracies.

In this paper, CiteSpace software and the technology of visualization of scientific knowledge map are used to analyze and sort out the research status of industrial core competitiveness in the past 20 years form 1998 to 2018 in three aspects: CSSCI source journals, research keywords frequency hot spots and degree papers of master and doctor, based on the relevant literature of industrial core competitiveness in CNKI database. based on the Internet Big Data and CiteSpace, the research hot spots and trend of “industry core competitiveness” of CSSCI journals are analyzed, including the statistics of relevant research papers and the research keywords frequency hot spots. This paper presents the keywords co-occurrence network map of industrial core competitiveness in degree papers of masters and doctors. This paper comprehensively analyzes the focus and development trend of domestic scholars, refines the research hot spots of industrial core competitiveness, clarifies the evolution of industrial core competitiveness, and provides certain reference for the future research of industrial core competitiveness.

There are methods to cope with the incompleteness of requirements. This paper proposes a conceptual model based method to generate scenarios. The method assumes that the unfriendliness of systems comes from the gap between the operational model and the mental model of users. The operational model can be represented in use case models or users' scenarios. Our method applies a conceptual model with class diagrams as a part of the mental model of users. We also develop a tool as a bridge between these models. It automatically generates users' scenarios from the conceptual model with access permissions. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of the method, we study a case and clarify whether the method and the tool contribute to the improvement of the completeness of requirements. The case focused on is a system of a domain of academic affairs of the Open University of Japan. As the result, the tool implemented could generate new scenarios that have not been implemented within the system.

A large amount of evidence shows that circular RNAs(circRNAs) participate in transcription and translation regulation and function as “micro RNA(miRNA)-sponges”. Recognizing circRNA-miRNA interaction is helpful to understand the function of circRNAs, especially its role in complex diseases. Obtaining interactive information based on traditional biological experiments is usually small-scale, time-consuming, and laborious. Considering that there are few calculation methods, it is urgent to develop efficient and accurate methods to extract the interaction between circRNA and miRNA. In this work, we proposed a computational framework called CMIVGSD, which uses singular value decomposition and graph variational auto-encoders to predict circRNA-miRNA interaction. To our best knowledge, CMIVGSD is the first calculation framework to predict circRNA-miRNA interaction. CMIVGSD uses the singular value decomposition (SVD) algorithm to obtain linear features from the circRNA-miRNA interaction matrix. We have constructed the similarity networks of circRNA and miRNA, respectively. The graph variational auto-encoder (VGAE) is employed to mine the non-linear features of circRNA-miRNA in similarity networks. Finally, we combine linear and non-linear features and use LightGBM to predict interaction scores. We performed five-fold cross-validation experiments. Experimental results show that our proposed method is better than other methods. The case study further proves the effectiveness of CMIVGSD in predicting circRNA-miRNA interaction.
