The continuous innovation of its business models is an important task for a company to stay competitive. During this process, the company has to validate various hypotheses about its business models by adapting to uncertain and changing customer needs effectively and efficiently. This adaptation, in turn, can be supported by the concept of software Product Lines (SPLs). SPLs reduce the time to market by deriving products for customers with changing requirements using a common set of features, structured as a feature model. Analogously, we support the process of business model adaptation by applying the engineering process of SPLs to the structure of the Business Model Canvas (BMC). We call this concept a Business Model Decision Line (BMDL). The BMDL matches business domain knowledge in the form of a feature model with customer needs to derive hypotheses about the business model together with experiments for validation. Our approach is effective by providing a comprehensive overview of possible business model adaptations and efficient by reusing experiments for different hypotheses. We implement our approach in a tool and illustrate the usefulness with an example of developing business models for a mobile application.

In the context of AI technology, it is necessary to reform the education by adopting information technology and intelligent teaching tools. The hybrid teaching and learning based on AI technology integrates online teaching with offline classroom teaching, by taking advantage of both informatic teaching and traditional teaching. This study takes an example of Japanese translation course of junior students majoring in Japanese language in higher education institutions, and conducts the AI-based Japanese translation hybrid teaching practice. The results indicate that the AI-based hybrid teaching mode may motivate students' activity and self-discipline in learning, and increase their capability and motif of autonomous learning.

Dental disease is the first complaint of 10 major diseases in Indonesia. Almost the entire population of Indonesia has dental and oral health problems. Delay in early detection of dental and oral health problems can result in loss of productivity, longer duration of treatment, loss of teeth, higher costs, complications with other organs, which can lead to death due to cancer. We propose the invention concerns wireless oral image recording instruments and identification methods thereof. Several existing inventions do not yet have the following features including wireless connection, object detection, and prediction of oral and dental diseases that integrate the knowledge of clinical experts using the application. The purpose of this invention was to add to the features mentioned above by using Artificial Intelligence of Medical Things (AIoMT) concept, designing object detection based on deep learning (DL) algorithms, and integrating prediction systems high performance using collaborative datasets. This invention integrated intraoral image recording hardware in the Intraoral Camera Unit (ICU) with software in the Display Processing Unit (DPU) which produces visualization of predicted results, and a webserver unit as a data collection unit and image classifier according to the validated disease interpretation. The integration of these three units can then be used by medical scholars, researchers and medical practitioners to strengthen the reliability of the interpretation process, especially related to oral diseases using an integrated digital dental support system.

In the paper, theoretical background, as well as practical implementation, of discovering flow graphs (both fuzzy and rough set) from data tables are presented. We assume that data tables represent information/decision systems in the Pawlak's sense. The implementation was made in a software tool called the Classification and Prediction software System (CLAPSS). CLAPSS is a tool developed in the Java technology for solving different classification and prediction problems using, among others, some specialized approaches based mainly on fuzzy sets and rough sets. In the automotive domain, the employment of agile development is currently hindered by the fact that the safety lifecycle, which implies the creation and maintenance of safety work products, is manually executed, being a complex and expensive process. Given a change in the system under consideration, ISO 26262 recommends that the impact of that change on the safety case of the system shall be assessed and that the safety case shall be correspondingly updated. To this end, in this paper, while assuming a model-based system and safety engineering context, we propose checkable safety case models, which are semantically rich safety case models integrated with system and safety engineering models (i.e., work products of a model-based safety lifecycle). The semantically rich specification and the model integration allow for automated consistency checks between the safety case and the system, specifically its engineering models. We exemplify our contributions via an in-vehicle driver assistance system for driving through intersections.

For software projects, significant delays can result in heavy penalty which may end up with project costs exceeding their budgets. As a consequence, employees, i.e., software developers, are often requested to work overtime in order to reduce or even eliminate the delays. By doing so, overtime payment may often be introduced and excessive overtime payment can also easily swallow company profit which may even lead to serious overdraft Hence software manager needs to decide who should work overtime and how much overtime they would take in order to control the cost. This means that it is important to investigate how to reduce or eliminate the overall penalties by taking multiple concurrent software projects into account. In practice, there is normally a number of available employees with same or similar skills and domain knowledge from other similar concurrent projects. In addition, they have different skill *** rescheduling those employees with appropriate overtime may be feasible to find a solution which can reduce or eliminate the penalties of delayed software projects. Since this kind of scheduling is a typical NP-hard problem, a novel generic strategy is proposed to help select appropriate employees and determine how much overtime to be assigned to the delayed activities. The new strategy combines the features of Ant Colony Optimization algorithm and Tabu strategy and includes four rules to reduce the search space. A set of comprehensive generic experiments is carried out in order to evaluate the performance of the proposed strategy in a general manner. In addition, three real world software project instances are also utilized to evaluate our strategy The results demonstrate that our strategy is effective which outperforms the other representative strategies which are applied successfully at software project scheduling.
