Biometric recognition, especially facial recognition, has achieved significant success, but it faces challenges like counterfeiting biometric data. This paper proposes a Facial Presentation Attack Detection (PAD) system that incorporates contextual information to identify and discard attacks involving detectable Presentation Attack Instruments (PAIs). The aim is to streamline computational efforts and enhance the subsequent PAD system's analysis of facial features. The PAD system yields excellent results, achieving a 99% accuracy rate. This high performance is confirmed through the application of a Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) technique, Grad-CAM.

The difficulty of acquiring computer programming skills is a plausible cause for the elevated attrition rates in computerscience (CS). Music and robotics integrated with computer programming are approaches to engage students in CS by prioritizing personal expression, creativity, and aesthetics. This paper conducts a systematic review of using music and robotics to teach CS concepts to elementary school students. The authors aim to identify the existing problem in the literature to make CS more interactive, accessible, and engaging for students to improve their motivation in enhancing CS concepts and develop creative interpersonal skills. This paper also identifies a mixed-methods study to determine ways to promote CS among elementary school students. The mixed methods describe an adaptation of Blockly, Xylophone, and Dash robots for use in an introductory elementary school-level programming course that will be implemented in an open-access camp at Auburn University where American grades 3-5 will participate in pre-, post-, and follow-up surveys while attending the CS camp. The authors want to demonstrate how music and robotics programming can contribute to STEAM (science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education regarding technology and engineering integration and include existing research studies resulting from the search and review processes. These studies were synthesized according to some common characteristics, including their use of educational robotics, preliminary results, subjects, and potential contributions to STEAM education. A few educational implications of educational robotics are also discussed as possible contributions to technology and engineering education. As a result of this systematic review, using robotics and music in early childhood STEAM education is a promising tool and application for integrating technology and engineering. The study concludes with a summary of the findings on the effectiveness of this approach.

The problem on the rotation of a dynamically asymmetric rigid body around a fixed point is considered. The body is fixed inside a spherical shell, which a ball and a disk adjoin to. The equations of motion of the mechanical system in the case of absence of external forces admit two additional first integrals and these are completely integrable. The nonintegrable case, when potential forces act upon the system, is also considered. The qualitative analysis of the equations of motion is done in the both cases: stationary sets are found and their Lyapunov stability is studied. A mechanical interpretation for the obtained solutions is given.

Safety of electronic and computer systems largely depend on their failure-free operation time ("lifetime" (LT)). The problem of predicting the degradation rate of technical system characteristics ("service life") which determines LT, is often solved within the accelerated testing (AT) paradigm. However, it has its own specifics for prototypes of devices produced at the early stages of development work, when, having only a small number of device copies, it is necessary to estimate their potential service life (LT), if this characteristic is decisive for assessing the feasibility of continuing the development. This may concern both technical devices (and elements of "Cyber-physical systems", in particular) and software products, for example, machine learning (ML) systems under development. This paper analyzes the extent to which state-of-the-art of machine learning (ML), as well as such specialized LT assessment models as selective censoring, Survival Analysis (SA), Extreme Value theory (EVT), allow obtaining service life forecasts for designed devices under real operating conditions at the early stages of development/design. The difficulties of solving the maintenance forecasting problem using traditional machine learning software tools are analyzed, and a heuristic method for solving the maintenance forecasting problem under given conditions is considered and proposed. It is noted that the problems under consideration have a similar fundamental nature for a wide variety of applications of electronic and computer technology, for which it is necessary to estimate the rate of degradation of efficiency. Examples will be given both from the modern practice of computer networks and from the practice of developing modern solar electric cells (SEC) of autonomous power supply, the lifetime of which is one of the factors of safe operation of various systems. At the same time, a common property of time series representing the efficiency of these systems in certain terms is, in
