The integral pin-fin tube is a new type of non-continuous finned tubes, increasing the effective heat transfer area, while its non-continuous fin structure can strongly stimulate the fluid boundary layer separation, to achieve enhanced heat transfer effect. Using fluent software three-dimensional numerical simulation on integral pin-fin tube is got. The results is accord to the actual situation, verifies the fluent software on integral pin-fin tube complex numerical simulation method is feasible, wile for the pin-fin tube heat exchanger simulation study provides some reference.

As for UHF detection of partial discharge, a hardware interface is essential in introducing the electrical signal of discharge into computer for further analysis and identification. Herein, this system is developed in Labview platform of NI Corporation and data acquisition card is connected with computer through USB bus. So the author explored the hardware interface including the data acquisition card and how to collect the data to Labview platform in order to classify the type of discharge using dynamic link library (DLL) document.

Based on ANSYS software, several typical engineering examples were analyzed; and the secondary stress level, distribution characteristic, and variable of secondary stress trend with different geometric parameters were studied. The result shows that: for the UHV transmission towers, the secondary stress of primary members near the gradient changed place and the tower leg was remarkable; The secondary effect has relation not only with slenderness ratio, but also has relation with the angles of primary members and auxiliary members, the slope of the primary members, and the configuration of auxiliary members, etc. At last, the equations are proposed, which will enable the secondary stress of the UHV transmission towers to be quantified.

In early design phases, system models can be characterized as intended interactions between black box components. Moreover, when dealing with embedded systems, it is usual that interactions are constrained by timing issues. We propose to represent such system models as structured scenarios by using UML sequence diagrams specialized with the MARTE profile to handle timing constraints. By using symbolic execution techniques, we show how to analyze these system models and how to extract behavioral constraints concerning components. Those constraints can be used as unitary test purposes to select components of the system.

To satisfy McWiLL communication requirement in noisy environment, a far field noise suppression method based on double uni-direction microphone in McWiLL intercom was studied. The method arranges two uni-direction microphones rationally and uses analog noise cancelling processor to accomplish surrounding noise reduction in McWiLL intercom in noisy environment. To verify validity of the method, several contrast experiments using diagnostic rhyme test method were done. Experiments results show that the far field noise suppression method based on double uni-direction microphone is effective for surrounding noise reduction.

In softwareengineering, as in any collective endeavor, understanding and supporting collaboration is a major concern. Unfortunately, the main concepts of popular process formalisms are not always adequate to describe collaboration. We extend the software & System Process engineering Meta-Model (SPEM) by introducing concepts needed to represent precise and dynamic collaboration setups that practitioners create to address ever-changing challenges. Our goal is to give practitioners the ability to express evolving understanding about collaboration in a formalism suited for easy representation and tool-provided assistance. Our work is based on a collaborative process metamodel we have developed. In this paper, we first present a meta-process for process modeling and enactment, which we apply to our collaborative process metamodel. Then we describe the implementation of a suitable process model editor, and a project plan generator from process models.

Much of the research into testing model-driven systems has focused on checking the models used to drive code generation, and testing the transformations that are used. This is predicated upon the use of full code generation. However, much of the model-driven system development used in practice is based on the use of partial code generation, where the developer implements sections of the system by modifying or adding to the generated code. In these situations, it is important to test for problems in or caused by this manually modified code. In this paper, we present a pragmatic approach to testing model-driven systems based on partial code generation. Our approach uses model-based testing techniques based on reuse of development models to drive test case generation.

In this paper, a simulation method will be introduced to solve the problem caused by the complicated and transient pressure, which is applied on the surface of turbomachinery blades. In this study, detailed models such as boiler furnace and convective heat exchanger, with the consideration of the requirements of boiler thermodynamic calculation, were developed based on Aspen Plus user model. A boiler system for the thermodynamic calculation of a 600 MW sub-critical boiler was established and results were compared to the reference data. The comparison indicates that the models developed have high accuracy and reliability with the main relative errors less than 5%. The commonality and scalability of the models and system shows great potential in combination of conventional calculation requirements with mature and advanced software platform.
