Large jewelry products are special ones displaying well-known buildings in the form of jewelry art works. However,as the static products can not deduce all the fine constructive structures displayed, we took the Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Memorial Hall as the object of study and introduced the Virtual manufacturing and designing method into the large jewelry manufacturing. In the research, we used the UG software to reconstruct the three-dimensional model and studied the dynamic display of large jewelry products. From all the above methods, we can solve the problem of displaying constructive structure features, predict the appearance and manufacturability of jewelry products optimize the process of research, reduce the production cost and thus increase the efficiency of the preproduction preparation.

The paper introduces the design of the super monitoring system of the reaction kettle, the serial communication between the super computer and the multichannel distributional lower computer, as well as the design of monitoring surface which has been realized using VB. The system has the powerful data-handling capacity and the image display ability, and may carry on the control through the data transfer to the lower computer. The system has achieved the real-time monitor of the production process of the reaction kettle conveniently.

Water is the most abundant chemical in the human body and plays a central role in the regulation of nutrient transport, toxic waste removal, thermal regulation, digestion, and organ functioning. About 55-65% of the human body weight comes from water. To maintain optimal health, the Institute of Medicine advises that men consume roughly 3.7 liters (about 16 cups) of total water a day and women consume 2.7 liters (about 12 cups) of total water a day. So water quality should be grow faster day by day in order to maintain people ‘s health. Protecting water quality is a top environmental priority as we approach the twenty-first century. There are many water quality problems in both developing and developed countries. Of all the environmental concerns that developing countries face, the lack of adequate water of good quality is probably the most serious. The sustainable management of water quality has policy, technical, institutional and financial components. In many developing countries restricted funding is usually combined with fragile or unstable institutions and limited technical capabilities to deal with an expanding range of water quality problems. At the technical level, there has been great progress in western nations in developing more cost- effective monitoring, analytical protocols, and assessment methods. This flows not only from better scientific knowledge, but also from recognition that conventional monitoring programs are inefficient, expensive, and often not very useful. Regrettably, financial institutions and ODA programs tend to reinforce conventional approaches in developing countries with the result that these countries have little opportunity to develop a new, more appropriate and more sustainable data paradigm. However, very little knowledge exists about the demand for environmentally friendly practices within the food service sector, despite the numerous practices in the restaurants that contribute significantly to the depletion of environment. This paper proposes a causal model to explain the relationships between value orientations and different types of attitudes (i.e., general and specific) on behaviour intention towards environmentally friendly restaurants in Malaysia. In this paper, we propose the effect of reaction between NH3 molecules and the surface of the Single Wall Carbon nanotube (SWCNT) channel in a Carbon Nanotube Field Effect Transistor (CNTFET) device as a sensor. Reaction between NH3 molecules and SWCNT changes the surface charge and potential of the CNT channel, which in its turn, causes the corresponded variations in device characteristics. Here, the reaction between NH3 and SWCNT is simulated in Virtual Nanolab (VNL) software which leads to the changes in i-v curve of CNTFET through the affecting in gate control parameter and drain control parameter. We insert this parameters in FETToy area (a code developed under MATLAB) to extract the i-v curve, and compare i-v curves. This comparison clearly shows that the NH3 molecule will affect the performance of CNTFET as its sensor.

In order to generate a variety of innovative 3D animation modelings automatically, an improved cellular genetic algorithm was proposed in this paper. ACIS rule expressions were used to scale the existing 3D animation modelings unevenly in the x-axis, y-axis and z-axis direction separately in this algorithm, and tree coding was adopted for the generation and evolution of ACIS rule expressions. Due to the difficulty that there was no uniform evaluation criteria determining the creative design, human-computer interaction was adopted which used expert knowledge to determine the fitness function value of individuals. An innovation system of 3D animation modelings is developed, and the experiments in the system show that the improved cellular genetic algorithm can generate a series of 3D animation creative modelings.

Soil moisture is a crucial parameter which is useful in several research fields such as agriculture, meteorology and hydrology. In this paper, the application of fully polarimetric (ALOS PALSAR) and dual polarimetric (ENVISAT ASAR) Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data acquired over several test sites of India for soil moisture mapping is presented. PolSARpro software, Alaska Map Ready, and some programs developed by us were used for the processing of PALSAR data. For soil moisture mapping, surface inversion models such as Dubois et al., Oh et al, and Extended-Bragg (X-Bragg model) models were used. As we do not have ground truth data synchronous with satellite passes, we just compared the results of inversion models and also the seasonal variation of soil moisture with time. The variation in soil moisture pattern in different test sites are clearly seen through soil moisture maps obtained from ALOS PALSAR fully polarimetric data acquired in different dates. We found that Dubois et al. model over estimates soil moisture as compared to Oh et al. model. The soil moisture difference between Oh et al. 1992 model and X-Bragg model estimations is also observed. X-Bragg model fails to invert soil moisture for several fields due to very sensitive to surface charecteristics. For ENVISAT ASAR data processing, NEST 4A software was used. In order to invert soil moisture from backscattering coefficient of ASAR data, linear regression models developed by Baghdadi et al were used with single and dual-pol models. The Soil moisture variation in Vijayawada and Mumbai test sites are clearly seen through soil moisture maps obtained from ENVISAT ASAR dual polarimetric SAR data acquired in two different dates. High soil moisture pattern in Vijayawada test site is observed in Nov, 2005 due to heavy rainfall. The effect of vegetation on soil moisture is also observed for the same site.
