A wideband variable gain driver amplifier with shunt resistive-feedback and cascade topology is proposed for software-defined radio (SDR) application. The proposed wideband driver amplifier is implemented in 90 nm CMOS technology. Measurement results show that the power gain is greater than 10 dB and output matching (S22) is better than -10 dB from 0.4 to 6 GHz. The tunable gain ranges from -3 to 18 dB. The OIP3 and power consumption are 4dBm and 10mW, respectively.

Real-time security monitoring is very important for large scale power systems. In the power systems with weak RTU coverage, state estimation software will not work, therefore realtime security monitoring is not possible. This paper deals with finding some practical and feasible solutions to make state estimator program available for large scale power systems with a very weak RTU coverage condition. Different aspects of state estimation such as topology extraction and observability problems are studied for Iran power system and a proposed methods to overcome the problems such as using transformer tap estimation, network model reduction and external model are presented.

This paper analyzes the main factor in power system which influences power quality, and the necessity of developing monitor device of power quality is analyzed. Measuring method of power quality indexes and the feasibility of monitor device's realization are researched also. Furthermore, the software is programmed and PS-3 power quality monitor device is developed. The hardware system is composed of industry control computer, data acquisition and analysis module based on 80C198 micro controller and external analog signal transforming box. Every standard of power quality can be tested and analyzed by device developed in this paper. At last, the device is used to test the 35 KV bus of a steel factory. The results show that the methods adopted are correct and the precision is higher.

In order to meet the need of remote monitoring of hanging grounding wire during electricity overhauling operation, a new monitoring device of electricity overhauling hanging grounding wire is introduced in this paper. The hardware and software design of this device were presented. The device adopt ultrasonic ranging to monitor the status of grounding wire, adopt camera to collect on-site pictures, realizing the monitoring of hanging grounding wire, which made monitoring more reliable, visualized, and select the MC55 module to implement GPRS data transmission. The results indicated that the device improve safety of electricity overhauling operation and achieve visualization. The device has promising prospects of application in electricity overhauling operation.

ZigBee wireless networks have been extensively researched on recently. For the purpose of making ZigBee walk out of laboratory and becoming more practical in automatic meter reading (AMR) system, we make some favorable improvements both on the hardware and the software of ZigBee technology. In hardware aspect, we amplify transmit power and enhance receiver sensitivity in order to establish point-to-point communication link which is a basic condition for constructing complex wireless network. In software aspect, we present a novel address assignment and an improved routing protocol based on different packet types of AMR system for less data latency and better transmission reliability. Finally we implement our AMR system in practice and verify our scheme can achieve better performance by real experiment.

In recent years, energy and environment issues are becoming more and more serious. As a country like China with largest architectural area in the world, it is especially significant to develop renewable energy in replacing conventional energy and practicing building energy consumption. Nowadays, the renewable energy software cannot analyze data for monitoring and forecasting. Thus, based on Visual studio .NET, this paper presents a design of analysis platform for renewable energy and building integrated data. It's suitable for monitoring, analysis and prediction of various types of renewable energy resources application in different areas and different type of building integration. In order to provide a reliable base for popularization of renewable energy source application in building construction, key technologies, which include the multi-level system framework, functional modules, database design, and the ARIMA prediction algorithms in this platform, are described.

This paper introduces automobile diagnostic technique and on-board diagnosis (OBD) system, compares and analyzes several kinds of diagnostic protocols widely used in on-board diagnostics system. As for the problems of hand-hold diagnostic devices used in the current market, a general PC automobile fault diagnostics system based on OBD system design scheme is presented in this paper. In view of the diversity of physical layer and link layer in several widely used protocols, a general protocols electrical level transfer circuit is designed and solidified software for the protocol conversion is developed. Based on PC, multifunctional diagnostic software is also developed. The performance of each module is tested on vehicles, and the results show that the communication of this system is reliable, the diagnostic result is accurate, and the performance in human-computer interaction is good, able to meet the vehicle maintenance diagnostics and new models development and testing requirements.

This paper proposes an appropriate control systems aiming at the control demands of distributed generation (DG) unit in the micro-grid. When the micro-grid is connected to the main grid, PQ control with droop characteristic is adopted for the inverter; When micro-grid separates from the main grid, Vf control with droop characteristic is used. Also, the controller can make the conversion between different modes seamless. The grid-connected mode, islanding mode and transition from grid-connected to an islanding operation are simulation by PSIM software. The simulation results verify that the proposed control strategy is right and feasible.

With the development of tidal current power generation technology, the research on developing of detection and control system, which is suitable for the energy conversion of tidal current generation, is becoming an important component of developing tidal current energy. The paper introduces the basic composition of tidal current power generation system, as well as the detection and control technology, which are all applied to the tidal current power generation experimental platform. It also addresses the control principles in energy consumption load and alternation of storage cell's charging and discharging, all of which would be provided with hardware circuit designing and software programming. According to the characteristics of permanent magnet synchronous generator. We adopt the corresponding control and protection measures to ensure the stability of power generation system.

On the basis of basical equations of structural dynamics, a wind turbine blade was treated as a free suspended beam which was entirely fixed on the root. Then the physical and mathematical models of wind turbine blades were built. Blades of a 15 kW wind turbine were Modeled in the AutoCAD. With the aid of finite element analysis (FEA) software ALGOR, the model of blades were analyzed on the vibration modes which were under irrotating and different rotational speeds. Natural frequencies and mode shapes were calculated. And then frequency response for the baldes of wind turbine were analyzed, and the vibration magnitude and stress distribution of the blade were obtained when acted by the exciting force.
