Service oriented computing provides a novel approach to building new software applications through the reuse of existing services. In this paper, we present SOARWare, a suite of middleware and tools, for software production and running based on Web services technologies. Basically, SOARWare consists of three major components including SOARBase, Service Oriented software Production Line and Service Running Bus. Additionally, SOARWare provides a web-based platform for various users to access to the system functionality in a SaaS manner. We depict the design principle, system architecture and major functions of SOARWare.

To open suction slots in arc and back-arc face of hollow stationary blade at suitable place, using the pressure difference between inside and outside of the slot, is one of the most direct and effective to protect the moving blades from water erosion. By using the FLUENT software, this article conducted the numerical simulation to the steam flow field of LP last stage, which is opened with a suction slot at the relative width of 0.2 and 0.7 in arc and back-arc face of hollow stationary blade when the opening angle is 45°. Comparative analysis was conducted to the dewetting effect and its impact on the steam flow field between the slot rounding or not and different width from 2 to 5 mm. Results show that rounding suction slot with a 4 mm wide with opening angle of 45° is optimal.

Based on harmonics analysis, a technique of the resistive leakage current of the surge arrester is presented in this paper. From an electrical field transducer installed at the grounding line of surge arrester of the phase B, the phase angle information of the operation voltage can be gathered; from the current transducer around the grounding line of surge arrester, the general current signal is able to be gathered. By harmonics analysis and mathematic operation, the resistive leakage current of the surge arrester under the operation voltage can be calculated. Based on the technique presented in this paper, the tester of the resistive leakage current of the ZnO surge arrester is developed based on DSP TMSC320LF2407. By use of the strong operation performance of DSP, the software algorithm uses the digital filter processing, FFT and correlation processing. The test result shows accuracy of the detector.

Compilers play an important role in software development, and it is quite necessary to perform abundant testing to ensure the correctness of compilers. A critical task in compiler testing is to validate the semantic-soundness property which requires consistence between semantics of source programs and behavior of target executables. For validating this property, one main challenging issue is generation of a test oracle. Most existing approaches fall into two main categories when dealing with this issue: reference-based approaches and assertion-based approaches. All these approaches have their weakness when new programming languages are involved or test automation is required. To overcome the weakness in the existing approaches, we propose a new automatic approach for testing compiler. Our approach is based on the technique of metamorphic testing, which validates software systems via so-called “metamorphic relations”. We select the equivalence-preservation relation as the metamorphic relation and propose an automatic metamorphic testing framework for compiler. We also propose three different techniques for automatically generating equivalent source programs as test inputs. Based on our approach, we developed a tool called Mettoc. Our mutation experiments show that Mettoc is effective to reveal compilers' errors in terms of the semantic-soundness property. Moreover, the empirical results also reveal that simple approaches for constructing test inputs are not weaker than complicated ones in terms of fault-detection capability. We also applied Mettoc in testing a number of open source compilers, and two real errors in GCC-4.4.3 and UCC-1.6 respectively have been detected by Mettoc.

The pressurizer vapour space small-break loss of coolant accident is analyzed based on the nuclear thermal hydraulic transient analysis software RELAP5/SCDAP/MOD3.4 code. Transient characteristics of the Integrated Pressurized Water Reactor (IPWR) system pressure, core temperature, mass flow rate, reactor vessel water level are achieved. The influences of three different break areas are also studied and the conclusion is consistent with local experiment conclusion. The results show that the safety system of the IPWR can make sure the reactor core is under the water after the accident happens and the passive residual heat removal system can remove the core heat.

This paper establishes a model for the design proposal of the combined generating system of the pressurized tube-type solid oxide fuel cell and the micro-gas turbine based on the simulation software of the Aspen Plus chemical process, and puts forward the best hybrid system proposal, conducting the thermal cycle parameters and the efficiency of the various combined system proposals . The analysis shows that: as high as 72% of the generating efficiency can be obtained by the design of the combined system, which displays that the combined system is in a superior position in the distributed power generation system.

The aerodynamic coefficients of iced quad-bundled conductor varying with attack angle determined by wind tunnel test are presented. A cable element with torsional degree-of-degree used to simulate the iced conductor is obtained in ABAQUS software by releasing the two bending degrees-of-freedom and setting the material to be incompressible. The aerodynamic loads varying with attack angle are applied on the cable elements through the user defined element subroutine in ABAQUS. Furthermore, the effects of parameters, such as wind velocity, ice thickness, initial attack angle and span length, on the galloping of the quad-bundled conductor are numerically investigated. The result provides a theoretical foundation for the development of anti-galloping technology.

A tester of environmental parameters of solar energy based on ARM microprocessor of S3C2440A was introduced in this paper, the design of software and hardware and implementation methods were detailed expatiated. The environmental parameters which included temperature, humidity and illumination could be measured and displayed real-timely and adjusted the azimuth of cell panel. The data collected by the tester of would be transferred to the host computer through the industry bus of rs485 which would be Analyzed further and storage. A new single all-calibrated warm humidity sensor AM2301 which included a capacitive humidity sensing element and a NTC thermostat was introduced in this article. The sensor was widely used in the automatic control and intelligent detection field because of remarkable quality and fast response and higher performance-price ratio. ©2010 IEEE.

This paper presents the development of a hidden Markov model (HMM)-based Malay text-to-speech (TTS) system. To our knowledge, this is the first report on the development of the HMM-based speech synthesis system for the Malay language. In this paper, We first discuss the Malay speech characteristics, specifically, on Malay phonological system and syllable structure. In the Malay phonological system, 37 phonemes are adopted as the phonemic representations. Then, we describe a HMMbased TTS framework and language specific knowledge such as phonological, linguistic information, and utterance structure, which is used in context dependent continuous HMM and treebased clustering. After that, we report the development of Malay TTS corpora. Finally, a male and a female HMM-based Malay TTS systems are developed and evaluated. We further conduct listening test based on the Mean Opinion Score (MOS), and the results show that the developed HMM-based Malay TTS system can generate speech with acceptable quality in terms of naturalness and intelligibility.

Energy harvesting is becoming more and more popular for micro-power applications where the environmental energy is used to power up the systems. In order to prolong the device lifetime and guarantee the system operation, the harvested power from the energy transducer to supply the system load should be maximized. This paper reviews different techniques and solutions to maximize the harvested power. Different environmental energy sources and the characteristics of the corresponding energy transducers are discussed. Algorithms to detect and track the maximum power point (MPP) of the energy transducer are summarized. Different power management unit (PMU) designs to execute MPP tracking (MPPT) algorithms are presented.
