power transformers are the most crucial link in the power transmission and transformation system, providing strong support for ensuring the reliable operation of the system. A key research focus of the State Grid Corporation of China is how to quickly diagnose and identify potential risk points in the operation of power transformers, based on the actual operating conditions of the grid, while employing corresponding maintenance strategies and minimizing various risks caused by excessive maintenance. This paper, based on Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) theory, utilizes oil chromatography indicators, electrical indicators, insulation degradation indicators, and short-circuit electromagnetic indicators as evaluation factors for assessing the operating conditions of power transformers. A multidimensional normal cloud model is established for evaluating power transformers, categorizing their non-failure operating conditions into five types. The entropy weight method is used to determine the weight of various indicators, and state evaluation factors are combined to achieve a state score for the power transformer, which further guides the development of maintenance strategies. Finally, using historical operational data from a 110kV transformer, this paper analyzes the transformer with the proposed state evaluation model, validating the scientific and effective nature of the designed maintenance strategy for power transformers. © 2024 IEEE.

The large transformer is a critical component of substations and has historically suffered significant damage during earthquakes. This study develops an enhanced finite element model of a 220kV transformer to accurately assess its seismic performance. The study examines the seismic response characteristics and equipment resilience by utilizing four sets of typical seismic wave records. This enables the identification of critical failure locations and responses. The study results indicate that the high-voltage bushing, a critical component of the 220kV transformer, is susceptible to equipment failure due to excessive stress at the root and displacement at the top. Under the seismic action of a 9-degree design-level earthquake, the seismic resistance of the transformer in the X direction is insufficient. © 2024 SPIE.

Due to the differences in geographical environment and customer requirements, the protection function requirements for embedded relay protection devices are also very customized in different regions. Based on extensive engineering practice experience, this article proposes a function variant system that can customize the functions of relay protection devices according to user requirements through the variant and configuration of hardware basic components, mandatory software components, and optional software components, without the need for repeated modification and testing of functions. And the system has allocated function variant codes for hardware basic components and optional software components, making it easy to identify and select. The practical results show that this system will greatly improve the development and configuration efficiency of embedded relay protection devices, shorten the development cycle, reduce development labor costs, increase product competitiveness and demand response efficiency. © 2024 IEEE.

Considering the directional characteristics of communication topology due to heterogeneity in distance, power, and so on, a fully distributed consensus-based low-carbon economic dispatch method with directed topology is investigated in this paper. First, a low-carbon economic dispatching model is established with the consideration of dual goals of maximizing economic benefits and reducing carbon emissions, which employs quadratic functions to calculate operation and maintenance costs of subsystems along with carbon trading costs and introduces the Lagrange multiplier method to solve the optimization problem. Second, a fully distributed dispatching algorithm is proposed for large-scale and complex power networks. Our proposed algorithm treats incremental costs as consensus variables based on consensus theory, which realizes distributed dispatching through iterative computation. Third, the algorithm's applicability under random directed communication topology is thoroughly investigated. With the introduction of a surplus variable, the effectiveness and convergence of the algorithm have been confirmed through the analysis of communication topology and adjacency weights. Finally, some numerical experiments under the IEEE-14 power system are carried out to show the effectiveness of our proposed method. © 2024 Technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.

With the rapid development of industrial automation technology, target detection and recognition technology is playing an increasingly important role in modern manufacturing industry. This paper deeply discusses the application of target detection and recognition technology based on deep learning in industrial automation. Aiming at the task of target detection and recognition in industrial automation, this paper designs an innovative deep learning model-"industrial automation object detection network' (IAODN). The model is based on convolutional neural network (CNN) architecture, combined with feature pyramid network (FPN) and multi-scale feature fusion strategy to adapt to the changeable target size in industrial automation scenes. The model uses the pre-trained ResNet-50 as the backbone network and combines with FPN to construct a multi-scale feature map, and further improves the detection performance of the model for multi-scale targets through a multi-scale feature fusion module. The experimental results show that the IAODN model has excellent performance on public data sets (COCO and PASCAL VOC) and practical application data, especially in identifying small targets and multi-scale targets. By introducing deep learning technology, the production efficiency and safety in industrial automation scenarios have been significantly improved. In specific application scenarios such as production line monitoring, the IAODN model can monitor the status of parts on the production line in real time, find and identify defective parts in time, thus improving product quality and reducing the cost of manual inspection. © 2024 IEEE.

An IGJO-CNN (Improved Golden Jackal Optimization- Convolutional Neural Network) real-time hierarchical power quality assessment method based on the combined assignment method is proposed. A comprehensive power quality assessment system is constructed;a weighting matrix for power quality assessment is constructed by combining the fuzzy hierarchical analysis method, CRITIC method, and state weighting;the Improved Golden Jackal Optimization (IGJO) algorithm is used to realize the optimization of the hyper-parameters in the convolutional neural network (CNN) model;and the entropy weighting method is used to synthesize real-time grades of power quality to obtain the comprehensive assessment grade of power quality, which is used as a criterion for the comprehensive assessment grade. The overall state evaluation of power quality based on the comprehensive evaluation level and the analysis of the causes of level change based on the real-time evaluation level are obtained. The example analysis shows that the proposed method can obtain accurate and comprehensive power quality grading results. © 2024 IEEE.

in the article we develop modeling and creating a prototype of improved solar power plant for economical power supply systems for consumers which require simple autonomous inexpensive practical energy solutions. On the basis of Arduino Uno microcontroller board, a software-hardware complex for controlling the angle of the solar panel has been developed, which allows to follow the position of sun and automatically turn the solar panel in its direction. With aid of developed Android application on a smartphone screen, it is possible to monitor the amount of voltage produced by the solar panel at current time moment, and to analyze the dynamics of its change over time and, accordingly, to plan effective use the generated energy. © 2024 IEEE.

At present, the existing multi-load wireless Energy transmission (WPT) power supply system mainly adopts multiple single-transmit single-receive magnetic coupling power transmission structures based on single resonant frequency. There are some problems such as large transceiver circuit, high system cost and poor adaptability of wireless power supply type. In order to realize the effective transmission of radio energy under the condition of multi-frequency and multi-load power supply, a multi-frequency resonant radio energy transmission method based on single-emitter multi-receiver magnetic coupling structure is proposed in this paper. Finally, the system simulation model is established to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed multi-frequency harmonic radio energy transmission method. © 2024 IEEE.

The widespread application of renewable energy sources(RESs) has placed higher demands on the stabilization of power system, resulting in an urgent requirement to explore new strategies to provide regulation reserve and reduce power fluctuations. This paper shifts the focus from the generation side to the demand side and studies the problem of utilizing the heterogeneous inverter air conditioners(IACs) to perform demand response. In order to make the regulation workloads distribution reasonable while keeping the users' comfort, a distributed control architecture is designed and a method to estimate the regulation capacity of heterogeneous IACs is proposed, then the principle of consumed power allocation is determined. In addition, the communication protocol between IACs based on power demand is specified, which can realize users' comfort sharing on the basis of fulfilling the regulation target. We theoretically demonstrate the feasibility of the control strategy and verify the effectiveness of the method through software simulation. © 2024 Technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.
