This paper proposes a pinch detection method for an automotive power window. Due to a power window system, we can easily rise and lower a window glass only by pressing a switch. However, if the window is rising while there is a finger or an arm between the window frame and the window glass, it might occur a pinching accident. In order to avoid injuries by the accident, an anti-pinch control that detects the pinching and lowers the window glass, is installed in a power window system. In this paper, an anti-pinch control that can detect pinching of the object with both small and large force deflection ratios is proposed. In order to achieve it, the pinch state index is calculated from the motor angular speed and detects pinching when it exceeds the threshold. The main process of calculating the index is realized by a disturbance observer and a non-linear gain. When an object with small force deflection ratio is pinched, the index moves like a pinch force, and when an object with large force deflection ratio is pinched, the index increases faster than a pinch force by the non-linear gain. The phenomenon of wind and solar curtailment is quite severe in microgrid with high renewable generation connection. Constructing renewable energy-hydrogen combined system can be an effectively way to reduce the wind and solar waste and to meet the growing requirement of hydrogen energy. However, renewable energy-hydrogen combined microgrid faces problem as low electric grid self-service capability caused by high operation cost and low capacity of the traditional battery energy storage system. Therefore, a hydrogen production based multi-source multi-energy microgrid has been proposed in this paper. The system includes PV cells, wind turbines, heat boiler, electrical energy storage system, thermal energy storage system, hydrogen electrolyzer and hydrogen fuel cell and works at off-grid mode. An autonomous optimization dispatch system is then developed to minimize operating costs and provide optimized output power for each unit, ensuring stable operation in island mode. The simulation result proves that the system can take fully usage of the renewable energy and possess good economic efficiency by hydrogen trading.

In the flexible AC traction power supply system (FTPSS), a certain short-circuit current is necessary for fault detection following a catenary fault. However, the static power converters (SPCs) have limited current overload capacity. To enable fault detection and rapid system recovery, SPCs must switch from voltage-frequency control (VFC) to fault current control (FCC). This mode switching process can cause issues such as transient voltage and synchronization problems during the soft start of SPCs, leading to abnormal mode transitions. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a communication-based collaboration and control strategy to suppress transient voltage and achieve synchronous soft start. Firstly, the paper identifies the transient voltage and synchronization issues under the continuous operation strategy of dual traction station FTPSS. Subsequently, a collaborative control strategy is introduced. Finally, simulation modeling is conducted on the PSCAD/EMTDC platform to validate the proposed strategy. The simulation results demonstrate that the strategy effectively suppresses transient voltage and achieves synchronous soft start, ensuring correct mode switching.

The prediction of post-disturbance frequency dynamic response plays a significant role in decision making for stability control. This paper proposes a feature extraction scheme for post-disturbance frequency prediction based on hierarchical agglomerative clustering (HAC). The post-disturbance dynamic response process of power system frequency is analyzed, on which the basic input features for prediction are determined. Then, the correlation degrees of each two basic features are calculated to establish a similarity matrix. Moreover, the HAC method is used to extract the representative features. The HAC is conducted with exhaustive centroid-based strategy, and the Elbow's method is used to determine the number of clusters. A case study is presented to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

In recent years, as the power Internet of Things continues to advance and improve, the routing requires efficient and reliable optimization methods to ensure stable operation. However, sensor nodes in Wireless Sensor Networks for power Internet of Things have limited energy and lifespan, making the search for an efficient routing optimization method a critical issue. This paper innovatively proposes a novel high-reliable Wireless Sensor Networks routing optimization method for power Internet of Things-the Multi-Objective Chaotic Seagull Optimization Algorithm (MCSOA). MCSOA integrates chaotic optimization strategies with the Seagull Optimization Algorithm, enable to escape local optima and improving its global search capability. Additionally, it incorporates multi-objective functions to address various key factors in PSWSN routing, including minimizing transmission loss, balancing load distribution, and enhancing system reliability. To evaluate the effectiveness of the optimization method, extensive new experiments were conducted, accurately reflecting real-world power grid operation scenarios. The experimental findings indicate that MCSOA significantly outperforms traditional algorithms like Genetic Algorithm and Particle Swarm Optimization in terms of efficiency. Specifically, MCSOA cuts down energy use by a minimum of 16.1% and prolongs the lifespan of the PSWSN by at least 15.6%.
