In marine meteorological sensor networks (MMSN), there are massive data flows transmitted within numerous nodes, resulting in serious potential consequences once any anomalous traffic implied launches an attack. Therefore, accurate identification and fast response to abnormal traffic is vital for intrusion detection system (IDS) constructions. Dataset imbalances cause classification models to erroneously bias to normal traffic, significantly restricting IDS developments and applications. This paper proposes an approach to deal with dataset imbalances in intrusion detections. This approach mitigates dataset imbalance impacts on IDSs from the data perspective, which is liable to process the input data in classification models. In this approach, CVAE-GAN is adopted as the data generation module to synthesize specified minority class samples, thus reducing dataset imbalance rate. ordering points to identify the clustering structure (OPTICS) is taken as the denoising algorithm to remove outliers and decrease the overlap extent between majority classes. An experiment on NSL-KDD dataset demonstrates that the proposed method obtains a high-quality dataset with reasonable distribution. This approach improves the classifier's identification ability for potential anomalous traffic.

Temporal knowledge graph (TKG) reasoning that infers missing facts in the future is an essential and challenging task. When predicting a future event, there must be a narrative evolutionary process composed of closely related historical facts to support the event's occurrence, namely fact precursors. However, most existing models employ a sequential reasoning process in an auto-regressive manner, which cannot capture precursor information. This paper proposes a novel auto-encoder architecture that introduces a relation-aware graph attention layer into transformer (rGalT) to accommodate inference over the TKG. Specifically, we first calculate the correlation between historical and predicted facts through multiple attention mechanisms along intra-graph and inter-graph dimensions, then constitute these mutually related facts into diverse fact segments. Next, we borrow the translation generation idea to decode in parallel the precursor information associated with the given query, which enables our model to infer future unknown facts by progressively generating graph structures. Experimental results on four benchmark datasets demonstrate that our model outperforms other state-of-the-art methods, and precursor identification provides supporting evidence for prediction.

Task migration is a well-established method for improving the reliability and achieving the load balancing of systems. Nowadays, multiple processes may be collaborative and they are usually dependent, increasing the difficulty of migrating them. Besides, a process may be required to be migrated to a heterogeneous computing platform according to the current usage and reliability of computer resources. This makes the process migration across heterogeneous platforms essential. This paper focuses on migrating the dependent processes that communicate through shared memory and migrating independent processes across heterogeneous platforms. Linux platform and Windows platform are considered. For the dependent processes, we migrate them mainly by tackling the problem of preserving and restoring their communication states. For the independent process migration across heterogeneous platforms, a user-level opaque checkpointing tool called CKPT is designed and implemented. CKPT strips a process from operating systems by abstracting the calculation state of the process into pure data. Its operations are simple, making it lightweight in migrating the process. Experimental results show that our proposed approach achieves the dependent process migration and heterogeneous process migration. The time overhead and space overhead of preserving the communication state on Linux platform are 8.5% and 0.55% respectively. The results on Windows platform are 7.5% and 25%. The time overhead and space overhead of CKPT in migrating heterogeneous processes are 43% and 20%. These results show the effectiveness of our approach.

Emotions always participate in user behavior before consciousness, and all of our behaviors are affected by emotional thinking. Therefore, in digital interface design, how to more objectively evaluate whether the interface meets the design expectations has always been an important research field in user experience research. Based on the perspective of the influence of interface visual representation on user emotions, this paper aims to improve the objectivity of the evaluation results of the visual representation design of the information interface. We use the combination of kano model and AHP analysis method, propose an interface emotion-guided performance evaluation method based on the emotional representation of the information interface, and validate the method through examples. It is more accurate and objective in the evaluation, which assists the designer in more targeted analysis and optimizing the interface design.

The IP layer security standard, internet Protocol Security (IPSec) was promulgated by the IETF in 1998. IPSec has achieved the integrity and confidentiality of data transmission and greatly improved the security of IP data packet transmission. Since Security Association (SA) lookup is the basis of IPSec process, how to quickly and accurately get SA has become the key to protocol process. This paper implements existing software and hardware methods of SA lookup, analyzes lookup speed, resources occupation and working stability. To solve the disadvantages of the mentioned methods, we proposed a hardware implementation method based on Random Access Memory (RAM). Validated by Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), we conducted a comparative analysis with other methods. Comparison results show that it has a high lookup rate, flexible control of lookup time, low resource cost, simple structure, and high working stability. So it is an ideal lookup mechanism suitable for high-stability, resource-constrained, and high-speed IPSec process environments.

Machine learning is widely used in pattern classification, image processing and speech recognition. Neural architecture search (NAS) could reduce the dependence of human experts on machine learning effectively. Due to the high complexity of NAS, the tradeoff between time consumption and classification accuracy is vital. This paper presents APENAS, an asynchronous parallel evolution based multi-objective neural architecture search, using the classification accuracy and the number of parameters as objectives, encoding the network architectures as individuals. To make full use of computing resource, we propose a multi-generation undifferentiated fusion scheme to achieve asynchronous parallel evolution on multiple GPUs or CPUs, which speeds up the process of NAS. Accordingly, we propose an election pool and a buffer pool for two-layer filtration of individuals. The individuals are sorted in the election pool by non-dominated sorting and filtered in the buffer pool by the roulette algorithm to improve the elitism of the Pareto front. APENAS is evaluated on the CIFAR-10 and CIFAR-100 datasets [25]. The experimental results demonstrate that APENAS achieves 90.05% accuracy on CIFAR-10 with only 0.07 million parameters, which is comparable to state of the art. Especially, APENAS has high parallel scalability, achieving 92.5% parallel efficiency on 64 nodes.

The model checking is one of the major techniques used in the formal verification. This technique builds on an automatic procedure that takes a model M of a system and a formula phi expressing a temporal property, and decides whether the system satisfies the property (denoted by M satisfies phi). The model checking technique is based on an exhaustive exploration of the state space of the system and, thus suffers from the state space explosion problem: it can happen that the verification process stops because of lack of time or space. Among the existing solutions to tackle this problem the Symbolic Observation Graph (SOG) has been proposed as a reduced representation of the reachability graph preserving linear temporal logic properties (LTL) i.e. checking an LTL property on the SOG is equivalent to check it on the original state space. The parallel construction of the SOG could increase the speedup and scalability of model checking. In this paper, we propose a new model checking algorithm built on a parallel construction of the SOG. The SOG is adapted to allow the preservation of both state and event-based LTL formulae i.e., the atomic propositions involved in the formula to be checked could be either state-based or event-based propositions. We implemented the proposed model checking algorithm within a C++ prototype and compared our preliminary results with the state of the art model checkers.

Variational autoencoders (VAEs) have been widely adopted in the field of diverse responses generation. The existing VAE-based responses generation models can be roughly divided into two categories: the first is to map multiple responses to a joint variable distribution;the second is to construct an individual variable distribution for each response. Models based on the joint distribution can generate diverse responses to some extent, but the difference among responses is inapparent. On the contrary, models based on the individual distribution can ensure the distinction among responses, while they are not good at modeling the correlation among responses. To combine these two kinds of VAEs and make the best of their respective advantages, we propose a parallel Variational Autoencoders (PVAE) model that innovatively contains two variable distributions: correlation and distinction. The joint correlation distribution captures the common feature of all responses. Therefore, it can better retain the relevance to the given context. The individual distinction distribution models the unique content of each response, which promotes responses' diversity. In the generation step, keywords are sampled from these two distributions via the improved sampling process, which also enhances the diversity of responses. The experimental results demonstrate that our model achieves state-of-the-art performance on a weibo dataset.

Sound event detection is intended to analyze and recognize the sound events in audio streams and it has widespread applications in real life. Recently, deep neural networks such as convolutional recurrent neural networks have shown state-of-the-art performance in this task. However, the previous methods were designed and implemented on devices with rich computing resources, and there are few applications on mobile devices. This paper focuses on the solution on the mobile platform for sound event detection. The architecture of the solution includes offline training and online detection. During offline training process, multi model-based distillation method is used to compress model to enable real-time detection. The online detection process includes acquisition of sensor data, processing of audio signals, and detecting and recording of sound events. Finally, we implement an application on the mobile device that can detect sound events in near real time.
