A tremendous growth of IT world and internet technologies has raised the requirement of efficient, secure utilization of loads, which is a new complex challenge for Cloud Service Providers. Encryption technique plays here an essential role in securing the loads as well as the cloud environment. One of the efficient ways to achieve the goal above is to make an SRNN based Slotted Dynamic Load Balancing System. This paper presents the SRNN based Secure Slotted Dynamic Load balancing scheme which combines the Slotted Dynamic Load Balancing Algorithm with the security of asymmetric key cryptographic SRNN algorithm. The proposed approach includes slotting incoming loads along with security mechanisms where each slot is individually encrypted by its corresponding public key provided by the CSPs. ©2019 IEEE.

With the gradual extension of artificial intelligence applications in terminal equipment, intelligent terminals based on edge computing are also widely used in power systems. The new embedded terminal device with local decision function can process the collected raw data locally and only report the key information, which can reduces the requirement of network bandwidth, so makes the wireless transmission meet the needs of more business scenarios. In order to collect a large number of terminal data in time, traditional substations need high network bandwidth. The data can only be transmitted over wire. The data in new transformer substation with intelligent terminal can be aggregated by wireless transmission. But the data security of wireless networks such as IEEE802.11ah, LoRa , NBIoT and WiFi cannot be guaranteed. At the same time, with the needs of social development, data security has risen to the height of national security. In order to realize the "security and controllability" of information systems. China Cryptographic Administration has published a series of encryption and decryption algorithms such as SM2, SM3, SM4. In this paper, based on the IEEE802.11ah standard, we study the application of SM2, SM3 and SM4 in LAN of transformer substation, and mainly focus on the identity authentication, key distribution and data encryption and decryption. In view of the three different stages, the system scheme designs are proposed respectively, and then we analyze their security and the additional system overhead in detail. The research of the SM2, SM3 and SM4 algorithms in LAN of transformer substation will further promote the popularization and application of intelligent terminal in substaion, and this will also ehance the level of intelligence of substation. © 2019 IEEE.

Markov model for a simple two-host system used in determining the system availability of homogeneously distributed software and hardware systems.is based on the concept of containing only hardware and software in each host. This system is found to be quite slow and tedious resulting to delays in computing system availability at a given time. Present research aim at stochastically analysing the availability of heterogeneously distributed software and hardware systems.with software redundancy in standby, using an enhanced model to address the problem of low availability. The low availability is achieved through identifying the components responsible for mitigating the availability and define actions that can improve the availability of the systems. Markov method is used to develop expressions for system steady-state probabilities and system availability respectively. The model is implemented using Java programming language. To make the computation and analysis of systems.availability more efficient, numerical examples are presented in order to illustrate the performance of the model.

Malleability is the property of an application to be dynamically rescaled at run time. It requires the possibility to dynamically add or remove resources to the infrastructure without interruption. Yet, many Big Data applications cannot benefit from their inherent malleability, since their colocated distributed storage system is not malleable in practice. Commissioning or decommissioning storage nodes is generally assumed to be slow, as such operations have typically been designed for maintenance only. New technologies, however, enable faster data transfers. Still, evaluating the performance of rescaling operations on a given platform is a challenge in itself: no tool currently exists for this purpose. We introduce Puffer bench, a benchmark for evaluating how fast one can scale up and down a distributed storage system on a given infrastructure and, thereby, how viably can one implement storage malleability on it. Besides, it can serve to quickly prototype and evaluate mechanisms for malleability in existing distributed storage systems. We validate Pufferbench against theoretical lower bounds for commission and decommission: it can achieve performance within 16% of them. We use Puffer bench to evaluate in practice these operations in HDFS: commission in HDFS could be accelerated by as much as 14 times! Our results show that: (1) the lower bounds for commission and decommission times we previously established are sound and can be approached in practice;(2) HDFS could handle these operations much more efficiently;most importantly, (3) malleability in distributed storage systems.is viable and should be further leveraged for Big Data applications.

With the development of energy internet, the hybrid energy systems.are attracting increased attention. Optimum distributed energy sources placement is crucial to the operation of an energy internet since it determines how much power can generate for cold, heat and power demands. Cold and heat load models, PV model, cloudy day model, natural gas combined cold, heat and power system model are established to study the influences of solar radiations and temperature of outdoors. The running characteristics of the natural gas combined cold, heat and power system are studied by reference to C65. Three criteria are proposed to measure the technology and economic benefits of an energy grid comprising PV and natural gas combined cold, heat and power system. The PSO-Catastrophe hybrid algorithm is presented to find the optimal solution, including the optimum areas of PV and number of C65. There are four seasons in simulation: spring, summer, autumn and winter. The simulation results prove the effectiveness of the proposed method, and the influences of solar radiations on output in energy system are described in the end. © 2019 IEEE.

Grid connected Solar Photovoltaic (PV) generation systems.are becoming popular. Solar PV systems.will supply power to the local loads and also pump the power to the grid when local demand is less. Line impedance and load variations will adversely effect the efficiency of the power pumping capability of the system. This paper describes how the line impedance and loading influence the voltage profile in the distribution network with distributed solar PV systems. In this context, an analysis on the voltage profile due to the variation of load change and line impedance are investigated in a representative low voltage (LV) distribution network. The system is simulated using MATLAB/SIMULINK platform.

After three highly successful editions of the Internet-QoE workshop organized at ACM SIGCOMM 2016, ACM SIGCOMM 2017, and IEEE ICDCS 2018, the goal of the fourth edition of the Internet-QoE workshop is to scale the concepts of Quality of Experience (user satisfaction, user engagement, and behavioral analysis) out of the lab studies context and bring it to the analysis and operation of distributed systems.and communication networks, giving a user-centric perspective to the research performed by the MOBICOM community. By fostering an explicit and deep integration of the end-user directly into the design, analysis and management of large-scale operational networks, we expect to reduce the gap between QoE research and its application to future network management paradigms, as well as to provide a more targeted end-user perspective to the research on distributed communication systems. To improve the performance of cloud-based rendering systems. it not only requires a good load balancing algorithm, but also needs less cost for data transfer. This paper proposes an internal data compression method in the cloud, which reduces the cost of data transfer between worker nodes on the basis of Hadoop distributed framework. In this method, the coordinate system transformation and simple vector addition are used to reduce the storage space of each pixel's primary ray-object intersection point and unit normal vector. We implemented the experiment of data transfer in a Hadoop ray tracing cluster with gigabit switch. First, we compared the cost under different types of data transfer. Secondly, we measured the execution time of the compression method. Finally, we analyze the reason for the error between the decompressed data and the origin data. The results show that the cost of data transfer in our method is approximately 66% of that of the three-dimensional coordinate representation method, and the calculation error is less than 10-6. Thus, our proposed method can effectively improve the transfer efficiency of cloud-based rendering system.
