In the context of this article, a method for detecting threats based on their forecasting and development in complex distributed systems.is proposed. Initially, the relevance of the research topic is substantiated from the point of view of the prospective use of various methods in the framework of threat management and their forecasting in complex distributed systems. Based on the analysis of these methods, a proprietary forecasting method based on the second generation recurrent neural network (RNN) was proposed. The mathematical formulation of the problem is presented, as well as the structure of this neural network and its mathematical model of self-learning, which allows achieving more accurate (with less error) results in the framework of threat prediction (in this case, the level of water rise at gauging stations) in complex distributed systems. An analysis was also made of the effectiveness of the existing and proposed forecasting methods, which showed the stability of the neural network in relation to other forecasting methods: the error of the neural network is 3-20% of actual (real) water levels;the least squares method reaches up to 34.5%, the numerical method in a generalized form - up to 36%;linear regression model – up to 47.5%. Thus, the neural network allows a fairly stable forecast of the flood situation over several days, which allows special services to carry out flood control measures. Today, the activities of most enterprises are partially, and in some organizations, fully automated, that is why power outages lead to the interruption of all technological processes, financial damage to enterprises and various problems in the communal sector during power outages. One of the options for ensuring uninterrupted energy supply, improving the quality and reliability of power supply to consumers in rural and remote areas in cases of accidents in distribution networks can be considered the use of renewable energy sources. The purpose of the research is to optimize the configuration of the power supply system of agricultural enterprise by using solar power plants. The object of the research is the power supply system of the production facility of the agro-industrial complex. There was conducted calculation of the number of photovoltaic modules that can be placed on the roofs of agricultural enterprise to achieve maximum electrical energy generation during the day. On the basis of experimentally obtained data of currents and voltages, the generated power of photovoltaic modules was determined. The ratio of the maximum generated power of the south-oriented module located at tilt angle of 15° to the maximum generated power of the south-oriented module located at the optimal tilt angle of 39° was also determined. The average value of the ratio of the maximum generated power of the south-oriented PV module located at tilt angle of 15° to the maximum generated power of the south-oriented panel located at optimal tilt angle of 39° was calculated. The total daily production of electrical energy by all solar power plants is 885.22 kWh per day for a given date (Nov. 1). The ratio of daily electricity generated by solar power plant to that consumed by production facility in the specially selected city of Russia (Zernograd) is 71.8%. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Technology-enhanced learning provides various communication and information technologies for learning and teaching. The teachers also feel comfortable with the Open Educational Resources repositories that learn the existing learning materials when a new course is developed. Yet, this exists as a non-trivial problem because the learning environments should be flexible for the students to learn on the basis of their situations and characteristics. Hence, the main aim of this paper is to provide personalized dynamic and continuous recommendations for online learning systems. This paper plans to implement the novel recommendation system for online learning using intelligent techniques. The main steps of the proposed model are (a) Data collection, (b) Feature extraction, and (c) classification. Initially, the data are collected locally from the Ekhool learning application. Then the feature extraction techniques, such as t-distributed Stochastic Neighbour Embedding (t-SNE) and Principle Component Analysis (PCA) are used for selecting the most relevant features. Further, the classifier termed as Fuzzy Logic Classifier is adopted as the recommendation system, where the improvement is made in the membership limits by optimizing it with the Rider Optimization Algorithm (ROA). The superiority of the proposed method is proved by the performance analysis in terms of various performance measures.

SF6 (Sulfur hexafluoride) was widely used in gas insulated electrical equipment. However, it is a strong greenhouse gas with a GWP (global warming potential) of 23900. In recent years, C3F7CN (heptafluoro-iso-butyronitrile) was proved to be a potential substitute gas with excellent insulation performance and low greenhouse effect. In this paper, the decomposition of C3F7CN under the presence of H2O and O-2 was studied based on the ReaxFF-MD (reactive force field molecular dynamics). It was found that H2O would promote the decomposition of C3F7CN. Compared with the 130 C3F7CN molecule remained in the pure C3F7CN system, the number of C3F7CN in the adding 50 H2O system is 100 at 1000ps. HF, COF2 were produced in the adding H2O systems. The number of HF increased with the number of H2O added and there were 34 HF formed in the adding 50 H2O system in the end. 1 COF2 was generated in the adding 30, 50 H2O systems. O-2 had no significant effect on the decomposition of C3F7CN, although a small amount of COF2 were formed. The simultaneous presence of H2O and O-2 promoted the decomposition of C3F7CN, and it was close to the promotion of pure H2O. The number of HF and COF2 in the adding H2O/ O-2 systems.were close with that in the adding H2O systems. Utilizing molecular dynamics to study the decomposition of C3F7CN under the presence of H2O and O-2 on the provides theoretical support for the study of C3F7CN gas characteristics.

Verification of conceptual scenarios with interacting cyber physical elements in a distributed setup provides valuable insight to the end users and system designers. After defining a distributed cyber physical system, we present an approach to carry out verification of conceptual scenarios. We build the approach using reference net formalism to model nodes taking part in a distributed conceptual scenario. The model verification is carried out by analyzing outcome of simulation runs. We describe a scenario with requirements of location sharing and textual information exchange among various cyber physical nodes. The applicability of our approach is illustrated with this scenario. The publish-subscribe paradigm of information exchange is used to mediate interaction among nodes. The presented formulation will lead to faster convergence towards requirement consolidation (among end users, system designers, and developers). © 2020 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

Edge computing and Federated Learning (FL) can work in tandem to address issues related to privacy and collaborative distributed learning in untrusted IoT environments. However, deployment of FL in resource-constrained IoT devices faces challenges including asynchronous participation of such devices in training, and the need to prevent malicious devices from participating. To address these challenges we present CoLearn, which build on the open-source Manufacturer Usage Description (MUD) implementation osMUD and the FL framework PySyft. We deploy CoLearn on resource-constrained devices in a lab environment to demonstrate (i) an asynchronous participation mechanism for IoT devices in machine learning model training using a publish/subscribe architecture, (ii) a mechanism for reducing the attack surface in FL architecture by allowing only IoT MUD-compliant devices to participate in the training phases, and (iii) a trade-off between communication bandwidth usage, training time and device temperature (thermal fatigue).

Functionalization of silica nanoparticles with polar aminosilane and its effect on space charge accumulation under high voltage direct current (DC) was studied in polypropylene (PP)/ Ethylene-Octene Copolymer (EOC) /silica nanodielectrics. The modification reaction conditions were varied in order to alter the deposited layer grafting density and morphology, and hence, the filler-polymer interfacial properties. The effect of this alteration was then studied on the space charge accumulation under a high DC field as one of the most important properties to tune for HVDC cable insulation systems. The chemical modification of the silica surface was first confirmed via Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) and Fourier Transform IR Spectroscopy (FTIR). Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) was performed on the nanocomposites to study the effect of the nano-engineered interfacial areas on nucleation and crystal formation. The effect of the amine functional groups on the charge carrier trapping and transport in this insulation system was studied via Thermally Stimulated Depolarization Current (TSDC) method. It was argued that the amine functionality on the silica surface can induce deep trap states at the filler-polymer interfaces, and hinder further injection of the space charge. Under certain modification conditions, the aminosilane can form "island-like" structures on the silica surface. These islands can both facilitate nucleation, inducing transcrystallization at the filler-polymer interface, and further contribute to the induction of deep traps which result in reduction of space charge accumulation in the nanodielectric.
