In this paper, we consider the integration of intelligent mobile robots by various designs in a coalition that together solve a common group goal, consisting of a set of individual tasks, each of which is available to some single robots of the coalition. A general approach is proposed for control such coalitions of robots, solving the problem of information exchange, integrating information about the environment from onboard sensor systems.of robots from the group, planning the actions of the coalition robots. The problem of forming a mobile reconfigured distributed artificial neural network is considered. A generalized algorithm for deploying such a network is proposed. A modification of the "method of spheres" for planning the actions of the coalition robots solving the formation task is proposed. That modification is necessary for the deployment of a mobile re-configurable distributed artificial neural network in a decentralized control strategy and limited communications is proposed. The results of computer simulation of the solution of the formation task in a group of quadrotors for deployment of an artificial neural network are presented.

The volume of spatial data increases at a staggering rate. This tutorial comprehensively studies how existing works extend Apache Spark to uphold massive-scale spatial data. During this 1.5 hour tutorial, we first provide a background introduction of the characteristics of spatial data and the history of distributed data management systems. A follow-up section presents the common approaches used by the practitioners to extend Spark and introduces the vital components in a generic spatial data management system. The third, fourth and fifth sections then discuss the ongoing efforts and experience in spatial temporal data, spatial data analytics and streaming spatial data, respectively. The sixth part finally concludes this tutorial to help the audience better grasp the overall content and points out future research directions.

In this paper, we propose a new Decomposition-Coordination Method (DCM) to solve the nonlinear problem of optimal path planning, for autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) in a dynamic environment. The main objective of this work is to enable safe autonomous navigation to the UAV. Our algorithm of decomposition-coordination computes initially an optimal path leading to the desired position, and according to the information supplied by a deciding unit, the UAV can predict the potential collisions, and avoid them by computing new collision-free paths if needed, allowing more reactivity to the UAV. This approach consists of first, choosing a suitable mathematical model that depicts the dynamics of the UAV, to which we associate the objective functions to end up with a multi-objective optimization problem. We proceed then to the resolution of the nonlinear system, by subdividing it into a set of smaller interconnected subsystems. The DCM is then used to achieve a local treatment of the non-linearity and reduce the processing time, where each subsystem is split between two levels for parallel processing, and the coordination is ensured after the resolution of the system using the method of Lagrange multipliers. We study as well the convergence and the stability of the algorithm, then we present the results of our simulation on Matlab to corroborate the potential of this theoretical method.

In Mobile Cyber-physical system (CPS) is a popular research field in recent years. It aims to control and monitor mobile devices in complex and real-time scenes, and provide people with convenience and economy by using intelligent applications. The scenes in mobile CPS have close relationships with everyone's life and it has pervasive effect on people's life anytime and anywhere. In the paper, we focus on the intelligent transportation systems.(ITS) in mobile CPS. Specifically, we analyse the bottlenecks in automated and autonomous vehicles and find the on-car computer is the key component for low latency and low power self-driving vehicles. We show detailed research developments on the most advanced CPU-GPU platform including four aspects, mainly putting focus on the methods to reduce latency and energy in the system. The four aspects cover reducing data transferring overhead, reducing power consumption with power-gating, optimizing warp scheduling scheme and optimizing cache performance in coprocessors. Finally, we give the prospects and development trends in the computing platform of self-driving on-car system.
