With the rapid development and popularization of the Internet today, mechanical processing enterprises should not only adapt to new situations, but also reorganize various business processes. this article uses the Web to efficiently integrate internal and external resources of the enterprise, and monitors the network operation of the mechanical processing process. this article is based on object-oriented, distributed computing and other technologies to achieve fast and remote intelligent control of mechanical machining processes. Based on this, an object-oriented CNC machining quality control system is constructed. In the average error statistics of different batches of products, the highest error is 0.8mm, and the overall error is relatively small. © 2024 IEEE.

With the rapid development of big data and artificial intelligence technology, autonomous driving has increasingly become a research hotspot in the field of transportation. Based on the basic meaning and development status of the overall automatic driving, the requirements of urban driving infrastructure for different levels of automatic driving are analyzed. From the theoretical level, the influence of autonomous driving on road capacity is analyzed. Two road networks are constructed by TransModeler simulation software. the effects of different levels of autonomous driving on road capacity and intersection delay were evaluated. In order to control other variables, only the one-way street is used to simulate the autopilot capacity, while the traffic delay is simulated by a single intersection. the study found that in a one-way two-lane environment, the traffic capacity under automatic driving conditions is about 63.74% higher than that of manned driving, but there is no significant difference between different levels of autonomous driving capacity;in the intersection environment, it is indicated automated driving can reduce the average delay of the intersection by 1%, but there is little difference between different levels of autonomous driving. the research results show that in the L4 level automatic driving environment, high-adaptive traffic signal control system, Beidou/GPS system ground enhancement station, high-precision positioning, roadside alarm unit, and other facilities should be constructed in the L5-level automatic driving environment. the networked vehicle system based on 5G technology and the implementation of the vehicle basic data interaction platform and artificial intelligence should be upgraded. Under the conditions of automatic driving, the road capacity is significantly improved, and the delay of the intersection is significantly reduced, indicating that the automatic driving has a good improvement effect on the road traffic operation state.

Limited data access is a longstanding barrier to data-driven research and development in the networked systems community. In this work, we explore if and how generative adversarial networks (GANs) can be used to incentivize data sharing by enabling a generic framework for sharing synthetic datasets with minimal expert knowledge. As a specific target, our focus in this paper is on time series datasets with metadata (e.g., packet loss rate measurements with corresponding ISPs). We identify key challenges of existing GAN approaches for such workloads with respect to fidelity (e.g., long-term dependencies, complex multidimensional relationships, mode collapse) and privacy (i.e., existing guarantees are poorly understood and can sacrifice fidelity). To improve fidelity, we design a custom workflow called DoppelGANger (DG) and demonstrate that across diverse real-world datasets (e.g., bandwidth measurements, cluster requests, web sessions) and use cases (e.g., structural characterization, predictive modeling, algorithm comparison), DG achieves up to 43% better fidelity than baseline models. Although we do not resolve the privacy problem in this work, we identify fundamental challenges with both classical notions of privacy and recent advances to improve the privacy properties of GANs, and suggest a potential roadmap for addressing these challenges. By shedding light on the promise and challenges, we hope our work can rekindle the conversation on workflows for data sharing.

Network functions like firewalls, proxies, and NATs are instances of distributed systems that lie on the critical path for a substantial fraction of today's cloud applications. Unfortunately, validating these systems remains difficult due to their complex stateful, timed, and distributed *** this paper, we present the design and implementation of Aragog, a runtime verification system for distributed network functions that achieves high expressiveness, fidelity, and scalability. Given a property of interest, Aragog efficiently checks running systems for violations of the property with a scale-out architecture consisting of a collection of global verifiers and local monitors. To improve performance and reduce communication overhead, Aragog includes an array of optimizations that leverage properties of networked systems to suppress provably unnecessary system events and to shard verification over every available local and global component. We evaluate Aragog over several network functions including a NAT Gateway that powers Azure, identifying both design and implementation bugs in the process.

the smart grid system is exposed to cyberattacks, as demonstrated by the number of real-world incidents in the last few years. the attack strategies keep evolving, and security mechanisms must identify novel attack vectors ideally before they actually hit the system. In this direction, honeypot systems for smart grid infrastructure are considered effective. While use of honeypot systems for general IT security has a history already, implementations for smart grid systems, and industrial control systems in general, are not mature yet. In this paper, we summarize our efforts for designing, implementing, and evaluating our smart grid honeypot system. We started with a prototype implementation of the virtual smart grid infrastructure using open-source tools, evaluate the realism of it from an attacker's perspective through collaboration with cybersecurity experts. We then refined the honeypot system to offer better realism as well as logging features for capture attackers' behaviours.

Large service providers use load balancers to dispatch millions of incoming connections per second towards thousands of servers. there are two basic yet critical requirements for a load balancer: uniform load distribution of the incoming connections across the servers and per-connection-consistency (PCC), i.e., the ability to map packets belonging to the same connection to the same server even in the presence of changes in the number of active servers and load balancers. Yet, meeting both these requirements at the same time has been an elusive goal. Today's load balancers minimize PCC violations at the price of non-uniform load *** paper presents CHEETAH, a load balancer that supports uniform load distribution and PCC while being scalable, memory efficient, resilient to clogging attacks, and fast at processing packets. the CHEETAH LB design guarantees PCC for any realizable server selection load balancing mechanism and can be deployed in both a stateless and stateful manner, depending on the operational needs. We implemented CHEETAH on both a software and a Tofino-based hardware switch. Our evaluation shows that a stateless version of CHEETAH guarantees PCC, has negligible packet processing overheads, and can support load balancing mechanisms that reduce the flow completion time by a factor of 2-3x.

Service robots are playing more and more roles for indoor environments and for a service robot with limited equipment and capacity, it is an effective way to empower itself so as to better serve people or function via seeking help from surrounding resources as ambient intelligence or people. With open source program Robot Operating System (ROS) well developed for localization, navigation, communication, even some service operation tasks and as an accepted design approach, a new system mechanism, design and implementation are presented in this paper which employs ROS middleware for system enhancement and extension, instead of conventional complex distributed computing or WEB Service nodes. A networked robot works semi-autonomously under supervisory control of people through an Internet Browser while served by ambient intelligent assistant nodes to empower its functions. Smart device nodes and supervisory system of the robot is designed with ROS middleware and typical distributed resources node for video/audio under non-ROS system as with Android for ROSBridge communication are given in detail. Lastly, typical application scenarios and experiments are given for validation of the experimental system's design and feasibility.

Nickel is a framework that helps developers design and verify information flow control systems by systematically eliminating covert channels inherent in the interface, which can be exploited to circumvent the enforcement of information flow policies. Nickel provides a formulation of noninterference amenable to automated verification, allowing developers to specify an intended policy of permitted information flows. It invokes the Z3 SMT solver to verify that both an interface specification and an implementation satisfy noninterference with respect to the policy; if verification fails, it generates counterexamples to illustrate covert channels that cause the *** Nickel, we have designed, implemented, and verified NiStar, the first OS kernel for decentralized information flow control that provides (1) a precise specification for its interface, (2) a formal proof that the interface specification is free of covert channels, and (3) a formal proof that the implementation preserves noninterference. We have also applied Nickel to verify isolation in a small OS kernel, NiKOS, and reproduce known covert channels in the ARINC 653 avionics standard. Our experience shows that Nickel is effective in identifying and ruling out covert channels, and that it can verify noninterference for systems with a low proof burden.
