this paper proposes a framework for efficient remote service support in meta-verse. this work was initiated by a empathy-driven sensitive listening counselor bot enhanced by real and virtual services including digital twins selected by a powerful need/offer matching. this matching is leveraged on ADN (Autonomous Decentralization Network) IBN (Intention based Network) for efficiency (high performance) exploiting DLT (distributed Ledger Technology) for safety. this framework makes it possible to provide highly efficient teleservice including telemedicine in virtual spaces, which enables eternal evolution. Moreover, this paper introduces a concept for an integrated learning and evolutionary self-improvement of our metaverse system. © 2023 IEEE.

the emergency response process is a complex task that involves the evaluation of various elements to make crucial decisions. However, this complexity poses challenges to communication and information sharing. In light of this, the application of Semantic Web technologies has emerged as a promising solution to overcome these challenges. this paper presents the development of an ontology for emergency response to support knowledge sharing and improve decision-making processes by facilitating communication and information sharing among emergency response actors. the developed ontology, named ERMO (Emergency Response Management Ontology) was implemented using the Web Ontology Language (OWL) in Protege 5.5.0. To ensure the efficacy of our ontology, we adopted a rigorous criteria-based evaluation approach. Finally, in order to validate our approach, we developed a Python framework. this framework comprises a decision-making tool designed to provide stakeholders with the most relevant solution to an emergency stituation. © 2023 IEEE.

there is an emerging trend of migrating traditional service-oriented monolithic systems to the microservice architecture. However, this involves the separation of data previously contained in a single database into several databases tailored to specific domains. Developers are thus faced with a new challenge: features such as transaction processing, coordination, and consistency preservation, which were previously supported by the central database, must now be implemented in a decentralized, asynchronously communicating, distributed structure. Numerous prior studies show that these challenges are not met satisfactorily, resulting in inconsistent system states with potentially detrimental consequences. therefore, we propose to design a coordination service that relies on clear event-based and data-centric formal semantics for microservices specifying the interaction of cross-microservice transactions with their respective databases. Furthermore, we provide a formalization of consistency properties and outline how they can be used to support dynamic monitoring as well as enforcement of consistency properties, thereby providing robust microservice systems. the envisioned architecture can significantly alleviate the developers' burden of implementing complicated distributed algorithms to maintain consistency across decentralized databases. © 2022 acm.

Industry 4.0 integrates advanced information and communication technologies into industrial systems to enhance efficiency. Cyber-Physical systems (CPS) are a vital component, merging computer control and physical processes in manufacturing. Managing intelligent nodes in a CPS becomes intricate with new additions, necessitating effective security mechanisms. Blockchain technology provides a decentralized solution for transaction security, and smart contracts automate management. this article thoroughly examines intelligent node management within a CPS, proposing an innovative solution that employs a Blockchain consortium and smart contracts for automation. Specific challenges of smart factories are also addressed. Our solution is adaptable and generic. A preliminary study showcased the effectiveness of our approach, with future projects planned. Preliminary results indicate a significant enhancement in intelligent node management through Blockchain technology and smart contracts. © 2023 IEEE.

Software-Defined Networking (SDN) enhances flexibility, scalability, and innovation by decoupling the control plane from the data plane, managed through streamlined controller operations. However, distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks pose significant cybersecurity threats to SDNs, disrupting services by flooding targeted systems with traffic from multiple sources. Real-time detection of these attacks remains challenging, as traditional methods often lack the ability to accurately identify complex attack patterns due to limited feature sets. To address this, we propose an ensemble-based model that combines three classifiers (SGD, EBM, and MLP) for effective DDoS attack detection and mitigation in SDNs. Our approach integrates a reliable feature selection methodology, leveraging Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to identify the most informative features for attack detection. this enhancement significantly improves the accuracy and efficiency of the ensemble model. Evaluated using the CIC-DDoS2019 and InSDN datasets, our model demonstrates substantial improvements in detection rates and computational efficiency. Results show that the proposed approach achieves 99% accuracy, underscoring its potential as a resilient solution for DDoS attack detection in SDNs. © 2024 IEEE.

In this study, we provide a deep learning approach for the classification of arrhythmias that uses a customized wavelet-based autoencoder (AE) model for feature extraction and an MLP model for beat classification. the main objective of this paper is to evaluate the performance of auto-encoder based deep learning algorithms and to automatically classify five types of cardiac arrhythmias such as normal heartbeat (NSR), right bundle branch block (RBBB), left bundle branch block (LBBB) and atrial premature beats (APC), premature ventricular beats (PVC). the proposed approach received average scores of 99.8%, 99.8%, and 99.7%, 99.7% for accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 on publicly available datasets. the outcomes of the experiments demonstrate the significance of using deep learning based models in the diagnosis of cardiac disease. © 2023 IEEE.
