With the continuous development and progress of society, people's per capita income continues to improve, followed by the improvement of people's consumption level, which greatly promoted the rapid development of the catering industry. Because of the rapid development of catering industry and the growth of modern people's spiritual consumption demand, the catering industry has introduced the Internet, which improves the efficiency of catering services, reduces costs, improves the efficiency of restaurants, and also saves queuing and waiting time for customers, and improves customer satisfaction. In recent years, with the development of communication technology, the 5G era is coming, which will certainly promote the development of Internet of Things intelligent restaurants in a better direction. The intelligent restaurant designed in this paper is mainly based on the intelligent management system of Internet of Things and cloud computing technology. In this intelligent system, customers order food through the micro-message program or counter ordering machine. After ordering, the general control system will process the information of the customers' ordering, and then get the kinds and quantity information of the raw materials used in the food, and transmit it to the chef. The chef transmits the data information to the manipulator through the touch screen terminal to obtain the material and transport it. The system sends the raw materials back to the chef to facilitate the chefs processing. Finally, the information of the chefs food production will be returned to the user through the display screen on the table. Customers take and eat according to the instructions on the screen. Based on the existing ordering system, numbering system, calling system and cash register system, this paper designs the back-kitchen system to realize intelligent management and make the intelligent restaurant enterprises occupy an advantageous position in the same industry.

In order to enhance the autonomous exploration efficiency of robots in unknown environments, this study proposes a Fast Double Rapidly Exploring Random Tree (FD-RRT) algorithm. The algorithm combines a globally exploring random tree with adaptive step size and a locally exploring random tree with directional bias, aiming to quickly locate the boundary points of the map. In the algorithm design, considerations encompass information gain of the map, redundancy of information in boundary points, and navigation cost of the robot. Simultaneously, by eliminating the redundant information in boundary points and based on the gain in boundary information and exploration cost, different cost values are assigned to navigation points, guiding the robot to prioritize the exploration of regions with lower costs. The effectiveness of the proposed strategy is validated through a series of simulation experiments and real-world applications. © 2023 IEEE.

A study on intelligent control for hybrid actuator

A hybrid actuator is presented in this paper. Hybrid actuator is a new type of planar parallel robot, and requires precise control of the position of the mechanism. In order to achieve the desired accuracies, nonlinear factors as friction must be accurately compensated in the real-time servo control algorithm. According to the characteristics of the hybrid actuator, a hybrid intelligent control algorithm based on PID control and cerebellar model articulation control (CMAC) techniques was presented and used to perform control of hybrid actuator for the first time. Simulation results show that this method can improve the control effect remarkably compared with the traditional control strategy. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2006.

Saliency detection is a challenging direction in the field of computer vision. To get the more accurate salient target, we propose a visual saliency detection method based on the fusion of spatial and frequency domain analysis. Firstly, the image is smoothed by a Gaussian filter and then segmented by the superpixel segmentation of SLIC. The spatial saliency map is calculated by the color distance. Secondly, the saliency map of frequency domain is obtained by hypercomplex Fourier transform. Finally, the point multiplication operation is adopted to merge the spatial and the frequency domain saliency map. Compared with the others methods, the model we proposed can well retain the complete contour, highlight the target and suppress the background.1 © 2019 IEEE.

Accurate positioning of screen primitives is crucial in the machine vision-based automatic detection of intelligent water meter LCD screens. Detecting edge details of the LCD screen using the A component of the LAB color space improves the accuracy of LCD screen area positioning. This approach reduces background interference from Gaussian noise, non-uniform lighting, specular reflection, and local highlights. This study proposes a technique that combines NL-means and Sauvola local threshold segmentation methods to locate LCD screen areas and graphics elements. The experimental results indicate that this technique satisfies the defect detection criteria for smart water meter LCD screens set by the enterprise. The LCD screen detection tool extracted a smart water meter LCD screen image with 98.4% accuracy in LCD screen element positioning. Compared to the median filter method, this represents a significant improvement, and the combination with the maximum between-class variance method further increases accuracy by 2.7%. © 2023 IEEE.

Road congestion is considered as the bottleneck in intelligent Transportation System (ITS). It has serious impact on human security, the environment and the economy. Thus, congestion avoidance is one of the main challenges facing ITS. In the aim of reducing the congestion problem, different ITS schemes were proposed. In this paper, we present a comprehensive study of the recent approaches dealing with the congestion issue. This study brings to the scientific community a new classification of the previous schemes based on their specific features. To this end, we introduce some new metrics to evaluate all the studied approaches. We found that the majority of the new congestion management approaches are cooperative and efficient in decreasing the travel delay. However, they are generally focusing on vehicles control and ignoring other elements, such as the use of the road in daily life. The current study presents a new direction of future researches on congestion management systems.

Against the backdrop of the rapid development of computer-related technologies, Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) have become a hot research issue in the field of transportation science and engineering. In the field of autonomous driving, there are insufficient research on the coordinated movement of multi-vehicle formations and the coordinated passage of intersections. In this paper, we propose a multi-vehicle cooperative formation motion planning method at non-signal intersections, based on the optimal control theory, and numerically solve the optimal with complex constraints by using the computational optimal control method. The control motion planning model proposes an optimal control framework with completeness and versatility. Among them, a two-vehicle formation model is proposed, and the joint simulation experiment of AMPL and MATLAB is carried out in the scenario of four formations cooperating through the intersection without signal lights, and the simulation results are compared and analysed, and finally the formation can reasonably travel farther within a certain period of time. © 2023 IEEE.
