cloudcomputing is a computing hypothesis, where a huge group of systems linked together in private, public or hybrid network, to offer dynamically amendable infrastructure for data storage, file storage and application. With this emerging technology, application hosting, delivery, content storage, and reduced computation cost , and it acts as an essential module for backbone of the Internet of Things (I0T). The efficiency of cloud Service providers (CSP) could be improved by considering significant factors such as availability, reliability, usability, security, responsiveness, and elasticity. Assessment of these factors leads to efficiency in designing scheduler for CSP. This metrics also improved the Quality of Service (QoS) in cloud. Many existing model and approaches evaluate this metrics. But these existing approaches doesn't offer efficient outcome. In this paper, a prominent performance model named as Spectral Expansion Method (SPM) evaluates cloud reliability. Spectral expansion Method (SPM) is a huge technique useful in reliability and performance modelling of computing system. This approach solves the Markov model of cloud service Provider (CSP) to predict the reliability. The SPM is better compared to matrix geometric methods.

Dispersed computing is promising paradigm to supplement the conventional cloudcomputing. Performing computation on the edge leads to significant reduction in communication with the remote cloud. However, challenges exist to fully exploit the advantages of dispersed computing systems: The edge devices are heterogeneous in computation and communication capacity;Tasks decomposed from the target applications can have complex precedence requirements captured by a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG). With these challenges in mind, we propose a throughput optimized task scheduler, targeting at applications (such as computer vision and video processing) where input data are continuously and steadily fed into the execution pipeline. The scheduler incorporates two innovative techniques: task duplication and task splitting. To circumvent low bandwidth data links in the highly heterogeneous environment, we duplicate critical tasks to reroute communication paths. To load-balance the various tasks in complicated target applications, we split heavy-loaded tasks to allow cooperation of multiple nearby edge devices. Through simulation, we thoroughly evaluate the performance of the scheduler under various configuration of tasks and dispersed systems. Task duplication improves throughput of the baseline schedule significantly (> 1.2x), for systems with large variance in data link bandwidth and tasks with large communication-to-computation ratio. Task splitting leads to significant throughput improvement (> 1.25x) for systems with heterogeneous processing power and tasks with large variance in workload. On average, our scheduler improves throughput of the baseline schedule by > 1.6x.

In recent years, there has been growing interest in the use of mobile cloud and Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) in automated diagnosis and health monitoring. These applications play a significant role in providing smart medical services in modern healthcare systems. In this paper, we deploy a mobile cloud-based IoMT scheme to monitor the progression of a neurological disorder using a test of motor coordination. The computing and storage capabilities of cloud server is employed to facilitate the estimation of the severity levels given by an established quantitative assessment. An Android application is used for data acquisition and communication with the cloud. Further, we integrate the proposed system with a data sharing framework in a blockchain network as an innovative solution that allows reliable data exchange among healthcare users. The experimental results show the feasibility of implementing the proposed system in a wide range of healthcare applications.

Providing fault tolerance services to cloud applications is significant. This paper proposes a novel fault tolerance service provisioning scheme. First, fault tolerant requirements is defined from the reliability of cloud application components, application response time and fault tolerance effects. Then, an optimal fault tolerance service provisioning method is developed based on replication, N-version programming and checkpoint technologies, considering whether cloud infrastructure resources are sufficient. Using optimization theory, we compute an optimal fault tolerant service provisioning solution. The experiment results show that our work could better satisfy the requirements for both fault tolerant service provider and cloud applications.

In cloudcomputing, the word cloud (additionally stated as "the cloud") is utilized as an allegory for "the Internet," so the state cloudcomputing signifies "a sort of Internet based computing". It can likewise be characterized as a gathering of PCs and servers that are associated together over the Internet to structure a system. In spite of the fact that cloudcomputing offers a few influences, however it has some drawback as well, that amid load balancing of information in cloud server faces issues of system blockage, less transfer speed usage, adaptation to non-critical failure and security and so on. This is the place where the idea of "Fog computing" comes to play. It effectively exchanges delicate information without deferring to the dispersed gadgets. Fog is like the cloud where the distinction lies in the way that has found more near end clients to process and offer reaction to the customer in a less amount of time. Fog computing, additionally named as "fogging", is a disseminated framework in which a keen gadget deals with certain application procedures or services at the outskirt of the system, in any case, others are still overseen in the cloud. It is, basically, a focal layer between the cloud and the equipment to empower the increasingly productive information handling, investigation and capacity, which is accomplished by lessening the measure of information that should be transported to the cloud.

communication and coordination in a mass casualty disaster scenario is limited and difficult for medical personnel in the absence of necessary communication infrastructure and technologies that enable situation awareness. This leads to misdirected and delayed triage of scene-wide critically injured patients, especially when there are large numbers of patients needing diverse care levels. A hierarchical cloud-fog setup involving a core cloud and edge clouds (i.e., fogs) can help the patient triage related real-time data movement challenges. It can create visual situational awareness and overcome infrastructure limitations at the wireless network edge. In this paper, we describe our "Panacea's cloud", a hierarchical cloud-fog platform that provides augmented reality benefits with real-time human communication and geolocation services through the integration of a standardized Incident Command System (ICS) with smart devices such as heads-up displays, virtual beacons, and wireless mesh network elements. We show how the ICS can run using a core cloud as an intelligent dashboard that leverages fog resources and data collection close to the incident scenes. In addition, we describe experiment results from evaluations of Panacea's cloud dashboard usability and platform performance that show benefits and issues in hierarchical cloud-fog service management in support of ICS communication during disaster incident coordination.

cloudcomputing paradigm encounters many practical issues especially data security and access control over the outsourced secret data is a major one. cloud providing computation as a service must prevent misuse of data by third party cloud service providers. This paper addresses a novel Symmetric Fully Homomorphic Encryption scheme (UGFHE) with access control policies written in XACML to provide controlled access over the ciphers and the homomorphic property is ensured by Smith Normal Form (SNF). The access control policies and ciphers are centrally managed by data owners. The security of the system is analyzed and the performance is also measured.
