This study focuses on a game theory-based resource allocation technique for the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) in sixth generation (6G) technology. We propose a Joint Vehicle-Edge-cloud Offloading and Resource Allocation (JVECORA) algorithm based on game theory and queuing models, that involves multiple vehicles, two edge nodes, and one cloud server. This algorithm is deployed and designed to find the optimal offloading decisions for vehicles, minimizing the system's total overhead by considering latency, energy consumption, and subscription fees. Based on a potential game theory, vehicles act as players competing and updating their offloading decisions among local, edge, and cloud computing under various traffic conditions and constraints. Through several iterations, we demonstrate that our proposed method outperforms the conventional techniques by 19.88%. The JVECORA algorithm significantly reduces the overhead and converges to a Nash Equilibrium (NE). Additionally, the M/M/1 queuing model is used to optimize resource allocation and achieve load balancing between edge nodes. © 2024 IEEE.

Aiming at the operation and maintenance management and control issues of large-scale photovoltaic power stations, a smart photovoltaic power station control system based on DCS architecture was studied. In terms of system architecture design, the design idea based on the 'cloud-edge-end' architecture is adopted, and some core equipment and data storage devices in the site are placed in the cloud to achieve centralized management and storage of data. At the same time, some computationally intensive tasks are processed in the cloud to reduce the computing pressure on edge devices. Applying this system to the control of photovoltaic power plants can achieve precise control of operation and maintenance data, and enable the identification and accurate processing of different faults. Comparing the fault identification algorithm used in this system with other algorithms, the results prove that the fault identification accuracy of this algorithm can reach 100℅, creating a large amount of economic benefits for the stable operation of photovoltaic power plants. © 2024 IEEE.

Growing demand for high performance computing such as cloud since exponential increase data and computing complexity. cloud provides elastic and on-demand provisioning of high performance computing capabilities using a pay-per-use paradigm, which over the past few years has seen a rapid increase in its usage by scientists and engineers. Many applications consist of many cooperating tasks requiring more processing power than a single computer can provide. Scientific workflows, big data processing workflows and multitier web service workflows are known to be the examples of these applications. Workflow scheduling is an actively researched area in the IaaS cloud environment. Such applications are a big problem that require attention since they required high performance computing and consume excessive amount of energy in cloud data centers. Massive energy use in cloud data centers has an adverse effect on the environment and raises operational costs. As a result, it cannot be ignored. While satisfying the Quality-of-Service constraints set by the user, effective scheduling techniques can considerably reduce energy consumption. Due to the NP-hard nature of the problem, researchers have spent a lot of time studying cloud workflow scheduling. In this study, we offer an overview of existing research for workflow scheduling algorithm in the cloud environments. It provides a perceptive of heuristic and meta heuristic approaches used to solve workflow scheduling. This excerpt is from a full-text study that conducts a thorough analysis of the literature on workflow application in relation to cloud computing. By responding to the three research questions, initial findings are given. 96 research papers were reviewed, and 24 articles were chosen. This study explores that there is a need to find an energy efficient workflow allocation strategy while complying Quality-of-Service parameters set by the user. © 2023 IEEE.

cloud computing is heading inexorably toward consolidation, which is a necessary instrument for the continued survival using the internet. In the cloud computing utilized for large data analytics, backup, and private hybrid clouds. These days, it's common practice to keep databases and programs in a cloud setting. The services are used as needed. Users may access the cloud, where software is already accessible, without having to install it on their computers, and utilize it in the same way for storing data as well. Security is now the most important factor for the sensitive data stored on the cloud. The technique is to gather resources and analyze the data by allowing user Internet Protocol access to the resource, storing the data in the cloud, check for hacker information, and respond as necessary by restricting the appropriate Internet Protocol (IP). The restricted IP user is no longer able to access the resources. Big data security in the cloud enables the tracking of unauthorized users (hackers) who attempt to access the resources. Administrators have the unique power to stop the hacker's workstation by disabling the IP address of the targeted system. This article discusses about the data security, which is the most common problem for everyone, because users don't have the perfect knowledge of how their data is stored on cloud. So, this study will discuss about data security in the context of cloud computing. © 2023 IEEE.

With the recent continuous development of the computer, digital communication and also control the digital communication and control technologies, there are many fieldbus instruments and devices based on embedded systems, the efficient and fast design will be essential. This article analyzes the smart design module optimization of the intelligent instruments by considering the cloud storage. The designed model has 2 focuses, namely, the efficient data storage and intelligent instruments design. For the data storage, the local+cloud scenario is considered, the developed solution supports the flexible collocation of the computing resources and the various storage resources through decoupling of computing resources and storage resources. For the instruments design, the HART protocol is the transitional protocol for the transition from general analog communication to the digital communication. And this is used for the design, it is found that the control system designed in this paper system is shorter than the traditional control system, effectively saving the control time of industrial automation instrumentation. Through the test, this study found that the designed control system is superior to the traditional control system in terms of reaction time, which means the designed idea is efficient. © 2023 IEEE.

Mobile cloud computing (MCC) has the potential to greatly enhance the computational capabilities of smart mobile devices (SMDs) and reduce their energy consumption by offloading compute-intensive workloads from SMDs onto the resource-rich cloud. Energy-efficient compute offloading remains a problem, especially when applications are under strict time constraints. In response to this issue, this research proposes an Efficient Computational Offloading and Task Scheduling model (ECOTS) strategy to cut down on power use and minimize the time it takes to finish an application. First, we formalize the ECOTS issue as a reduction of energy consumption under the constraints of a task-dependency criterion and an absolute time limit. To solve the issue of offloading computing from mobile devices, we present it as an optimization problem. We then offer two efficient offloading strategies to address the issue. Numerical experiments are used to determine how effective the suggested algorithms are. Finally, we demonstrate using data from a working testbed that the ECOTS method can effectively reduce energy expenditures by properly adjusting the CPU clock speed of SMDs in remote computation and by improving the transmission energy for wireless range circumstances in the cloud. © 2023 IEEE.

In the modern world of abundant mechanism, power(Electricity) is the most crucial term to deal with any digital system to function. Therefore, it is equally LoRa allows long-range communication with low power, making it ideal for remote energy monitoring. Microservice Architecture is quickly becoming popular for building extensive applications designed for deployment in dispersed and resource-constrained cloud-to-edge computing settings. Being a cloud-native technology, the real strength of microservices lies in their loosely connected, autonomously deployable, and scalable features, facilitating distributed deployment and flexible integration across powerful cloud data centers to heterogeneous and often constrained edge nodes. Hence, there is a need to devise innovative placement algorithms that leverage these microservice features to enhance application performance. To address these issues, we propose extending Kubernetes with a load-aware orchestration strategy, enhancing its capability to deploy microservice applications within shared clusters characterized by dynamic resource usage patterns. Our approach dynamically orchestrates applications based on runtime resource usage, continuously adjusting their placement. The results, obtained by evaluating a prototype of our system in a testbed environment, show significant advantages over the vanilla Kubernetes scheduler. © 2024 by SCITEPRESS – Science and Technology Publications, Lda.

The paper provides an energy-efficient protocol for heterogeneous wireless sensor networks that was inspired by vampire bats (VB). VB uses strategic deployment in heterogeneous network which consists of Vampire nodes, cluster heads, and dependent nodes are the three different sorts of nodes. Cluster heads are positioned across the network and have been given the most energy possible since it is taken into account that nodes close to the base station spend more energy because they must serve as both data originators and data routers. As we know, normal nodes which aren't given any special extra energy are the first ones to die out. So, in order to increase the stability period, when a node's energy goes below a certain level, it is associated with a nearby vampire node to increase the energy of the dependent node, as now it won't participate in direct long-distance communication with the nearby cluster head node. The results from the simulation of the protocol showcase more proficient behavior in terms of network lifetime, network stability and throughput for VB based energy efficient protocol with respect to similar protocols available in literature. © 2024 IEEE.

A cloud-based Automobile Database Management System serves as a specialized software application dedicated to efficiently managing databases hosted on cloud infrastructure, encompassing both system hard drives and networked servers. Various types of DBMS are intricately designed to oversee and regulate databases tailored for specific purposes. In the context of organizing comprehensive information on automobiles, leveraging cloud technology is not merely beneficial but imperative. As part of our strategic initiative, we are implementing a cutting-edge approach that involves the utilization of diverse cloud services, including S3 (Simple Storage Service), EC2 (Elastic Compute cloud), and IAM (Identity and Access Management), Cognito, cloud Watch, Simple Notification System (SNS), AWS RDS (Relational Database Service). Our proactive strategy involves the development of an intuitive user interface hosted on the cloud. This interface empowers customers to seamlessly select and explore their preferred vehicles based on individual usage criteria. The innovative integration of cloud services, such as S3 for robust storage, EC2 for scalable computing power, and IAM for secure access control, ensures scalability, accessibility, and smooth functionality, RDS optimizes database management, SNS enables real-time communication, and cloudWatch ensures proactive monitoring. Cognito enhances user authentication and authorization. This comprehensive approach not only enhances the overall user experience but also simplifies the process of selecting a dream vehicle for our customers. A comparative analysis has been sustained for AWS Servies, MySQL of 38% more reliable in retrieval time with Google cloud Platform (GCP), MySQL. © 2024 IEEE.
