cloud computing is a promising technique to conquer the resource limitations of a single mobile device. To relieve the work load of mobile users, computation-intensive tasks are proposed to be offloaded to the remote cloud or local cloudlet. However, these solutions also face some challenges. It is difficult to support data intensive and delay-sensitive applications in the remote cloud, while the local cloudlets often have limited coverage. When both of these methods cannot be supported, another option is to relieve the load of a single device by taking advantage of resources of surrounding smart-phones or other wireless devices. To facilitate the efficient operation of the third option, we propose a novel pervasive mobile cloud framework to provide an incentive mechanism to motivate mobile users to contribute their sources for others to borrow and an efficient mechanism to enable multi-site computation partition. More specifically, we formulate the problem as a Stackelberg game, and prove that there exists a unique Nash Equilibrium for the game. Based on the unique Nash Equilibrium, we propose an offloading protocol to derive the mobile users' strategies. Through extensive simulations, we evaluate the performance and validate the theoretical properties of the proposed economy-based incentive mechanism. © 2023 IEEE.

In the line of science, remote health monitoring is regarded as a hot topic. Regardless of the fact that there are more senior citizens, it is certain that a dispersed medical care system with remote monitoring and the goal of diminishing the rising cost of healthcare is urgently needed. Rapid detection and ongoing health monitoring can save up to 60% of lives. A wireless, wearable, affordable, and automatic health monitoring system is a good solution because of these factors. When needed, it can be challenging to check basic life factors like temperature, heart rate, gyro, oxygen level, etc. Using Arduino and a standard ESP8266, development and construction an IOT-based patient health monitoring system is achieved. Using Arduino and a generic ESP8266, this project will design and build an IOT-based patient health monitoring system. The suggested project can gather and send patient health information to an Internet of Things cloud server, such Thing-Speak, where it can be stored and watched in real time by a healthcare expert at a distance. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper investigates a new attack method called "near-source attack". It leverages the broadcast frames of the 802.11 protocol to establish a hidden tunnel and bypass physical isolation networks or air-gapped networks. We first analyze and implement a common technology known as Ghost Tunnel, which allows the attacker to control the target host and transmit information without being detected. However, this method suffers from frame loss, repeated frame, and attack transparency. We then propose an improved solution to deliver malicious programs to the target host using a modified BadUSB hardware device. Once the attackers successfully get in the isolated networks, they can bypass security protection devices and exploit vulnerabilities of communication protocols, so that they can remote control of target devices and hidden data transmission. We further conducted experiments to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of this attack scheme. The results indicate that the attack logic is capable of inducing the target host to engage in covert communication. Finally, we give some defense measures for such attacks. © 2023 IEEE.

This research presents an innovative method for blood bank management using cloud-based Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) models for precise inventory forecasting and optimization. The objective of this research is to increase blood bank efficiency by utilizing LSTM models to accurately estimate demand, optimize inventory levels, and enhance overall resource utilization. The system uses cloud computing to provide real-time demand forecasting, minimizing blood waste and assuring a reliable supply for healthcare requirements. LSTM models use historical data to identify long-term trends and variations in blood demand, facilitating accurate inventory forecasting. This predictive system optimizes the allocation process, resulting in improve resource utilization and increased operational efficiency. In compared to traditional techniques, the proposed system provides a more scalable and flexible solution by using cloud technology to provide continuous monitoring and dynamic modifications of inventory levels. It provides a robust framework for management of blood supply and enhancing patient care for improved resource management. Future enhancements may include broadening the system to incorporate real-time multi-source data integration and investigating hybrid machine learning models to better optimize demand forecasts. © 2025 IEEE.

With economic globalisation and the implementation of the "the Belt and Road" initiative, Chinese enterprises are expanding their business overseas at a faster pace. However, some overseas underdeveloped areas have weak communication infrastructure, insufficient signal coverage, poor network rate and other problems, which leads to constraints on the information management ability of Chinese enterprises' overseas projects, and even poses a potential threat to the safety of the employees stationed abroad, and may lead to emergency situations that can not be known and dealt with in a timely manner due to the lack of smooth information. This paper takes Pakistan, an important pivot country along the "Belt and Road", as the main research object, and designs a system combining hardware and software to address the problem of unstable network of a single operator. The system builds a local traffic resource pool through a cloud SIM Bank, uses dedicated Mobile WIFI Equipment to intelligently match SIM cards with operators, and cooperates with vSIM remote scheduling management and mobility load balancing mechanism to provide more stable and high-quality operator network connection for users. The results of local field tests show that this technology can significantly improve network quality and enhance network connection stability under the existing communication infrastructure conditions. This research result has important practical value for improving the environment for Chinese enterprises to expand their business overseas and enhancing the information management capability of overseas projects. © 2024 SPIE.

Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is a serious eye condition induced by diabetes that can result in eyesight. In order to overcome the vision impairment of diabetes mellitus patients, it is essential for early age prevention by medical practitioners. In the traditional approach, ophthalmologists conduct various screening tests to detect DR but fail to achieve accurate and conclusive diagnosis due to the associated time consuming processes. In order to eliminate such burden on the ophthalmologists, deep learning and machine learning techniques have evolved rapidly playing a significant role in the classification of diabetic and non diabetic patients. In this paper, the proposed framework implements a publicly available Benchmark APTOS 2019 Gaussian-filtered DR image dataset using a customized CNN model, yielding an enhanced accuracy of 98 %. In addition, the framework also employs a LIME explainer visualization model to provide enhanced transparency and interpretability to the generated predictions. This eliminates the 'blackbox' -ed nature of the predicted results from the traditional ML process and enables healthcare providers to take clinical decisions with confidence providing visual representations of the significant features that contribute towards an outcome. © 2024 IEEE.

The Internet of Things (IoT) can be described as an innovative approach and a new perspective towards the world and things existing in it. The present survey paper offers details on the definition of IoT, the constituents of its architecture, the technologies that facilitate IoT, key security concerns, IoT applications in different fields, social implications of IoT, and potential developments in the future of IoT. The architecture of IoT is divided into layers based on devices, communication, software, and applications which stipulates the interconnection of IoT systems. The enabling technologies like wireless communication systems or standards, embedded systems, and cloud computing are explained in detail with specific examples of their usefulness in IoT implementation. Security and privacy become two significant issues in the IoT context, raising the debate about issues, current solutions, and potential approaches. These use cases in smart cities, healthcare, and industries confirm that IoT has the potential to revolutionize operations through increased efficiency, sustainability, and improved quality of life. In addition, this paper also examines the social and economic impact of IoT, presents the recent trends like AI, recommendation, and regulations. Based on the assumptions of the present and possible future development of IoT, this survey seeks to establish the primitives for the development of IoT in orientation, obstacles, and possibilities for the formation of the digital age. © 2024 IEEE.
