In recent years, the electric vehicle market has been expanding rapidly. By the end of 2021, the number of new energy vehicles in the country will reach 7.84 million, accounting for 2.60% of the total number of vehicles, an increase of 59.25% over 2020. A small number of electric vehicles will not have an impact on the power grid. But in the future, with the electrification of all passenger cars, large-scale electric vehicles will emerge in the future. The access to large-scale electric vehicles and charging piles to the power grid will bring new challenges to the normal operation and control of the power grid. Therefore, charging load forecasting is essential. This paper proposes a load forecasting model based on a multilayer perceptron. It can predict the charging load of electric vehicles in a specific area and provide a reference for urban infrastructure planning and construction, optimal power flow of power systems, and economic dispatch of power grids. © 2022 SPIE.

Brain glioma type's tumors are among the most toxic cancers worldwide. Now-a-days, due to the advance of convolutional neural networks, many brain tumor segmentation systems aid clinicians to diagnose and operate. To support clinicians in the accurate automatic semantic segmentation of brain tumors, we investigate two convolutional encoding-decoding neural network i.e. UNet and PSPNet for brain glioma tumour segmentation from multimodal MRI images. The study is trained from the 2020 Brain Tumour Segmentation (BraTS) challenge. A rigorous assessment and comparative evaluation on the BraTS'20 validation set and test set, respectively, evolved with the PSPN et architecture achieving dice scores of 0.876 and 0.905 for enhancing tumour region and necrotic tumour/core region, respectively and with the UN et architecture achieving dice scores of 0.842 and 0.908 for enhancing tumour region and necrotic tumour/core region, respectively. © 2023 IEEE.

Industrial Internet promotes the transformation of industrial platform from business system driven to data driven through the flow of industrial data between massive multi-source equipment and heterogeneous systems. The data flow of industrial Internet involves the interactive transmission of a large number of key sensitive information between enterprises. Coupled with its inherent openness and heterogeneity, it is facing serious security challenges such as sensitive data leakage and integrity destruction. Cryptography technology is one of the important methods to ensure data security. Among them, the national cryptographic algorithm can meet the requirements of security, autonomy and controllability of Chinese industrial Internet data, and avoid the risk of "backdoor"when the current mainstream international cryptography algorithm protects the key sensitive data. However, there are still security threats such as memory leakage and time-side channel attack which cause the invalidity of encryption mechanism when the national cryptographic algorithm is deployed in industrial Internet system. Formal verification method is an important method to verify the security and reliability of cryptographic algorithms. Existing researches have designed a variety of formal verification mechanisms for the underlying cryptographic algorithms of some structures and protocols, but the research on formal verification for national cryptographic algorithm is still in a blank stage. This paper proposes a formal verification method of SM4 cryptographic algorithm based on programming framework F∗, which can ensure the memory security and resist the time-side channel attacks during the implementation of the algorithm. And the method can reduce the security risks, when the national cryptographic algorithm is deployed in the industrial internet. © 2023 IEEE.

For the sake of better removing dependence of color image pixel values, this paper designs a color image encryption algorithm based on a new four-dimensional chaos. Firstly, a new four-dimension chaos is built through feedback control, which has three equilibrium points. In comparison with the original, this system is of more complex topology and better randomness. Secondly, the image channel R, G, B are combined into one matrix. Finally, the encrypted image is the result of scrambling the matrix on the bit. The experiment shows that the algorithm applies to color image encryption because of its large key space, good key sensitivity, high encryption and decryption efficiency, and was suitable for color image encryption. © 2022 IEEE.

In this paper, a Dynamic Resonant Inductive Power Transfer (DRIPT) System for the Electric vehicle (EV) battery charging is proposed. In particular, the aim of the work is the general design of the whole system and its validation, with particular attention to the power electronic converters and their control. For the transmitter side, a DC/AC converter is used. It is controlled through the phase-shift technique and supervised by a Zero Phase Angle detection algorithm to ensure the maximum power transfer. For the receiver side, a double conversion stage, consisting of a diode rectifier and a controlled buck converter, is provided. The system is then simulated to verify its proper design. © 2022 IEEE.

This article studies the current green urban landscape gardens, which can be designed to allow people to have close contact with nature and meet people's needs for being close to nature. At this stage, landscaping work can also fully improve the existing urban ecological environment, which is conducive to the construction of an eco-friendly society in my country. In the process of landscape architecture design, virtual reality technology plays an important role. Mainly based on virtual reality, data mining and modeling of multi-dimensional images in garden landscape. The content of the mulh-dimensional image mining design mainly includes the overall topography of the garden, vegetation and planting conditions, and various activity areas. The coordinated design of the garden landscape makes the overall design of the garden landscape more scientific and visually expressive, with a year-on-year increase of 4.6%. © 2022 IEEE.

The research of solar cells has gone through three generations, silicon solar cells, thin film solar cells and perovskite solar cells. There are a variety of characterization methods used to analyze the factors that affect the performance of solar cells. Thus far, there are some deficiencies in the research of algorithms of the characterization methods themselves. Three types of data: current density-voltage (J-V) curves, X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectrum and absorption spectrum are the most essential characterization methods. Here, the processing algorithms of these three kinds of characterization data are studied, intend to help researchers to solve the practical problems more efficiently, and improve the accuracy of experimental results. In this paper, the process of processing algorithm are summarized in the way of flow chart, and combined with the example to show in turn. © 2023 SPIE.

Aiming at the pain points of low efficiency of garbage classification, low intelligence, large personnel investment, and lack of supervision in most communities, an intelligent garbage classification control system is designed based on vision and STM32 controller, including voice broadcast module, multi-sensor Collaboration module, wireless network access module, visual recognition module, remote control and diagnosis module, based on the authorized patents, the odor filter module was developed, and the automatic bucket changing function module was redesigned, which improved the efficiency of garbage classification and reduced manpower and material resources. Power generation from solar photovoltaic (PV) involves uncertainties due to its intermittent nature. Battery storage system (BSS) acts as both a store of energy and a source of supply during the solar off-peak periods. The capacity of BSS degrades over time. Hence, economic assessment of grid-linked solar PV systems is imperative. Currently, implementing rooftop grid-linked solar PV systems has had its cost decrease drastically. Energy policies and optimization guidelines need to be constructed on this constant change in the efficiency and cost of electric power technologies. In this paper, the effect of a continuous decrease in the cost of solar technology equipment on the economic feasibility of residential rooftop solar PV systems in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa is investigated. This feasibility is based on the international Renewable Energy Agency's finding that solar PV is the renewable energy technology with the highest reduction in cost, having its average Levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) dropped by 85% between 2010 and 2020. The competitiveness of solar PV in electricity generation is emphasized by the findings, thereby contributing further to the country's total energy mix. © 2022 IEEE.

The new challenges Science is facing nowadays are legion;they mostly focus on high level technology, and more specifically robotics, Internet of Things, Smart Automation (cities, houses, plants, buildings, etc.), and more recently Cyber-Physical systems and Industry 4.0. For a long time, cognitive systems have been seen as a mere dream only worth of Science Fiction. Even though there is much to be done, the researches and progress made in Artificial Intelligence have let cognition-based systems make a great leap forward, which is now an actual great area of interest for many scientists and industrialists. Nonetheless, there are two main obstacles to system's smartness: computational limitations and the infinite number of states to define;Machine Learning-based algorithms are perfectly suitable to Cognition and Automation, for they allow an automatic and accurate - identification of the systems, usable as knowledge for later regulation. In this paper, we discuss the benefits of Machine Learning, and we present some new avenues of reflection for automatic behavior correctness identification through space partitioning, and density conceptualization and computation.
