Development of automated in-row weed control is one of the costliest and complicated tasks in agricultural industry despite the rapid development of agricultural robotics. Hence, this study proposes an easy-to-implement and accurate system capable of real-time maize plant detection, which is the key part of the entire weeding machine. Mediterranean farmers use mechanized equipment for dominant crops, however, they suffer a labor-intensive in-row hand weeding. therefore, this work focuses on a Back propagation neural network system to be a framework for a real-time maize plant classifier utilizing advanced machine-vision (single-lens vision) techniques. Back Propagation Neural Network (BPNN) incorporates a single-board computer platform. the proposed framework is tested on images that on images that have no-specific distinguishing geometric pattern, varying light conditions. the obtained BPNN results were found to be encouraging considering the time consuming occurs manually to differentiate the maize plant from the other harmful herbs. this paper reports on a prototype awareness enhancing and monitoring device which will assist its users in order to reduce the spreading of Coronavirus (COVID-19). An awareness network between humans and sensors was used to build a human-sensor cognitive system that projects human unawareness of habitual behavior into self-correctness. the collaborative action was based on the ability of the sensor to collect information (face touching), communicate information to a human through visual (sound) warning and affect his/her decisions through fostering behavioral change, the prototype has two additional functions: a vibrating and sound awareness functions that are activated when a person places their hands in a location associated withthe face. To some extend this approach coincides withthe features of social engineering, and withthe approach of harnessing the social and artificial intelligence for the social benefit.

this paper proposes the use of artificial neural networks(ANNs) to classify human postures, using an invasive(intrusive) approach, into 6 categories namely standing, sitting, sleeping and bending - forward and backward. Human posture recognition has numerous applications in the field of healthcare analysis like patient monitoring, lifestyle analysis, elderly care etc. Most importantly, our solution is capable of classifying the aforementioned postures in real-time, by wirelessly(Wi-Fi) acquiring and processing the sensor data on a Raspberry-Pi device with minimal lag. A data-set of 44,800 samples was collected - from 3 subjects - which was used to train and test the neural *** experimenting and testing with a plethora of network architectures, an optimal neural network architecture(6-9-6) with suitable hyper-parameters was determined which gave an overall accuracy of 97.589%.

A new model of patternrecognition principles-Biomimetic patternrecognition, which is based on "matter cognition" instead of "matter classification", has been proposed. As a important means realizing Biomimetic patternrecognition, the mathematical model and analyzing method of ANN get breakthrough: a novel all-purpose mathematical model has been advanced, which can simulate all kinds of neuron architecture, including RBF and BP models. As the same time this model has been realized using hardware;the high-dimension space geometry method, a new means to analyzing ANN, has been researched.

Replication in grid file systems can significantly improve I/O performance of data-intensive grid applications, but its manual creation and placement would be impractical in a real grid environment involving thousands to millions of files accessed per application. Although automatic determination of where and how many replicas should be created should be decided with regards to application access patterns and network throughputs, thereby achiving high application throughput and minimizing replica space overhead, previous stuides have focused on limited parameter spaces in their algorithmic optimizations. We propose an automated replication algorithm that allows most of I/O accesses to be performed within a given time threshold, while simultaneously minimizing the space overhead by replication. Our algorithm models the replication problem as a combinatorial optimization problem, where the constraints are derived from the given access time threshold and various system parameters, while the objective function being to minimize file replication costs. We solve the optimization problem by dynamically monitoring and estimating internode link throughputs and file access patterns of running applications. Our simulation-based studies suggest that the proposed algorithm can achieve higher performance than simple techniques, such as ones that always or never create replicas, while keeping storage usage very low. the results also indicate that the proposed automated algorithm can perform comparably with manual replica placement.
