Farmers face a lot of problems, while cultivating agricultural plants. they do not get the desired output in agriculture due to the different types of diseases from which the plants suffer. therefore, it is important to detect the disease(s) of the plant. In this study, a vision-based plant disease detection method has been developed, where convolutional neural network (CNN) model has been used for classification of the plant disease and vision assistant toolbox of LabVIEW software is utilized for disease detection. this vision-based disease detection through a smart camera will be one of the important modules of an intelligent agricultural robot. © 2021, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

the need of creating improved that are better equipped to manage 'big data'has significantly grown due to the growing volume of data in electromyographic signal study. As a result, increasingly sophisticated created. this essay starts with a succinct overview of the key driving forces behind the expansion of big data age, then moves on to discuss the recent development of current shared data sets. After that, we cover current research and advancements in pattern recognition techniques that can be used for big data analytics. these new signal analysis approaches may be classified into two primary categories engineering utilizing a potential large specific focus on 'deep learning'. Finally, suggestions for further pattern research are presented and explored. © 2023 IEEE.

this project proposes a programmable logic-oriented algorithm to solve the difficult problem of coding generation of aircraft control system. the synchronous data flow computing model suitable for control system modeling is used to realize the cooperative communication between multiple functional modules in UAV control system. the spatial information fusion platform including physical space, transport layer, data layer, model layer, service layer and application layer is constructed. the dynamic programming method between multiple agents is used to solve the problem of motion trajectory optimization and cooperative task assignment among multiple agents. A multi-machine joint simulation platform with cluster collaboration is constructed and its performance is verified. the simulation results show that the system has high efficiency. © 2023 IEEE.

Biometric technology improves security and authentication, especially in sensitive systems like attendance systems. the common traits for biometrics are typically from the iris, fingerprints, face, etc. Another trait that possibly comes from the finger creases and the research work evaluating the finger crease's capability for biometric classification is proposed in this paper. Various local binary patterns (LBP) are employed to extract the features, and the classification performance is evaluated using Support Vector Machines (SVM) on two different kernels. From the evaluation, an accuracy of up to 94% with a percentage of FAR and FRR less than 3 is observed for all the proposed LBP methods.

Previous work on the recognition of human movement patterns has mainly focused on movements of individuals. this paper addresses the joint identification of the indoor movement of multiple persons forming a cohesive whole - specifically a flock - with clustering approaches operating on features derived from multiple sensor modalities of modern smartphones. Automatic detection of flocks has several important applications, including evacuation management and socially aware computing. the novelty of this paper is, firstly, to use data fusion techniques to combine several sensor modalities (WiFi, accelerometer and compass) to improve recognition accuracy over previous unimodal approaches. Secondly, improve the recognition of flocks using hierarchical clustering. We use a dataset comprising 16 subjects forming one to four flocks walking in a building on single and multiple floors. With the best settings, we achieve a F-score accuracy of up to 87 percent an improvement of up to twelve percent points over existing approaches.

In this paper, we present a novel approach for music structure analysis. A new segmentation method, beat space segmentation, is proposed and used for music chord detection and vocal/instrumental boundary detection. the wrongly detected chords in the chord pattern sequence and the misclassified vocal/instrumental frames are corrected using heuristics derived from the domain knowledge of music composition. Melody-based similarity regions are detected by matching sub-chord patterns using dynamic programming. the vocal content of the melody-based similarity regions is further analyzed to detect the content-based similarity regions. Based on melody-based and content-based similarity regions, the music structure is identified. Experimental results are encouraging and indicate that the performance of the proposed approach is superior to that of the existing methods. We believe that music structure analysis can greatly help music semantics understanding which can aid music transcription, summarization, retrieval and streaming.

A minimization problem is proposed to combine smoothing of locally computed motion data (e.g. normal flow) with the detection of motion boundaries. the continuous formulation of the cost functional allows one to incorporate arbitrary continuity-equations which locally determine apparent motion, and a nonlinear smoothing term adapts to the magnitude of the flow-gradient or to its components divergence, rotation, and shear. the approach has been designed such that gradient descent converges to a unique solution.
